CHAPTER ONE THE PROPHECY

It was a dark and stormy night. Because of course it was! Up in Starclan there were many cats waiting to talk about the future. Their names were StarGleam, JazzSong, RedPaw, LakePool and FluffyKit. Because of course they were. There was a pool of water. They all looked into it.

"I can see the future!" StarGleam gasped. "I see it very clearly. Starclan has given a prophecy." But, aren't you part of StarClan? It would make more sense if you gave the prophecy.

"What does it say?" Asked JazzSong. "Tell us, StarGleam!"

StarGleam looked up and her purple fur glittered in the starlight. "It is a prophecy from Starclan!" No shit, Sherlock. She said. "Crimson maples will block the storm's wrath," Well, I'll admit it. This prophecy is much better than the last one.

All of the cats gasped in shock. Such a mysterious prophecy! No cat would know what it meant until the words it spoke came to pass.

"How can we warn our beloved clan?" Wondered FluffyKit. You're in StarClan for goodness sake! Figure it out!

"We will send a message to PawStep." Said RedPaw. "Inform him of the impending destruction. Why not tell him the prophecy instead of impending destruction? Then, he can prepare his clan for the worst." It might not even be that bad!

"Okay." Agreed the rest of the cats. Then they left to go meet PawStep in a dream.

FluffyKit remained behind. "I only hope no one dies." He muttered. Then he walked away into the night.
