*Lucy's POV
It had been almost a month since returning from Narnia. My mind ran through all the adventures there and the years we spent growing up and ruling the land, but I suppose we were needed here once more. Tim seemed to stand still here and everything was back to as it once was. I missed Narnia. I missed Aslan,Thomas, and Mr. and Mrs. Beaver. So badly I had wanted to return and Peter even found me asleep at the back of the wardrobe, but no Narnia was there. "87...88...89...90...91." I ran down the hall after Edmond. "Come quickly Lucy! We have to hide!" I giggled slightly as I scurried past my brother and went to my first hiding spot the first time we played this game. "94...95...96..." I went into the room closing the door and walked up to the sheet covered wardrobe. Gripping the clothe I slowly pulled it down revealing the magnificent work. I saw all of it's engraving's and smiled running my hand along the door. However, as I did so, the carvings began to glow and I drew my hand back as they changed glowing a bright golden color. There were carvings to thirteen people going across a bridge, a large mountain, a creature on a rock, and a dragon with an arrow in it's chest. I smirked as the outline of the door glowed and I threw it open and stepped inside closing the door behind me hearing Peter's voice. "99...100."
---
As I walked through the wardrobe slowly past the coats I found my way to the back of the wardrobe. My eyes blinked several times seeing the back of the wardrobe circular and blue colored with a golden doorknob shining in the dark. Reaching my hand up I tapped lightly on it and waited. Then it opened up and a small little man about 3/4's my height stood before me. He looked just as surprised as I was. "Oh! Evening." he said with furrowed brows. I looked back to see the wardrobe gone and a large vast little town with glowing lights inside the little hills. There were fences and mailboxes as well as little roads leading to each one. The moon shone brightly above and I looked back to the little man "I made it back!" I say excitedly. He holds the door "Um, back where exactly?" I hold my arm out "This is Narnia is it not?" He shakes his head looking baffled "Narnia, no, don't suppose Iv'e ever heard of that place. If that's where you are headed then my dear girl you are surly lost. Your in Middle-Earth." I raised a brow "Middle-Earth?" He nods "Yes, and this little place is the Shire." I sigh in disappointment and bite my lip in slight worry wandering how I could get back home. "If you don't mind me asking..." I say. The little man quickly wraps his robe around him "Oh, I'm Bilbo Baggins. Would you like to come in?" I nod and enter into the cozy home looking around seeing it's a lot like Mr. Thomas's. "I'm Lucy Pevensie." Walking around I see many books on the table, but the place is tidy and a little small, at least for me. Bilbo closes the door and I look around "Are you a Dwarf?" I ask. He shakes his head "No, no, I'm not a dwarf. There are-" i hear a clatter and look towards the kitchen. "I'm a Hobbit." he says marching towards the kitchen. "A Hobbit?" I question following him and peering inside a pantry seeing two men. They are both taller than I but shorter than most men from my world. One is older with solid white hair and beard with a red coat on and the other looks younger with a bald head but long black beard. He has odd shaped tatoo's on his hands, arms, and atop his head. "Are they dwarves?" I ask. Both of the two dwarves raiding the pantry turn to me in surprise "Aye, who is this?" the younger asks roughly. "This is Lucy Pevensie. She is from....er, where did you say, Narnia?" I sigh and shrug "Not exactly." The older dwarf sends me a kind smile "Well, she is a cutie." I giggle a little and he nods just before the doorbell rings.I stand in Bilibo's study and look around as more dwarves enter in. "Nice place you got here." one says. Picking up a picture of an older looking Hobbit I turn looking and the two young dwarves whom had walked in. One had long brown hair and brown eyes and the other had blonde hair with a blonde beard and two little braids in his mustache. As Bilbo struggles with the bundle of swords in his arms the brown headed one begins wiping his boots on a box. "C-can you please not do that?! That is my mother's jewelry box!" He groans and then looks at me "Put that back!" he says and I place the picture back in it's place quickly, and before I know it the house is filled with more dwarves.
---
I had met Dwalin,Balin,Fili,Kili,Oin,Gloin,Dori,Nori,Ori,Bifur,Bombur, Bofur, which were many of the dwarves, and as well as a wizard Gandalf the grey. For the most part of the night I had tried staying hidden as the dwarves caused as mess eating all the food. I sat in the living room seeing them just across the hall tossing food at one another and laughing. Feeling the emptiness my stomach growled and I clutched it and sighed. "Here you are." I look up to see Gandalf walk over to me. I smile as he hands me a plate of food. I nod "Thank you sir." As I eat he sits next to me smoking on a long pipe. I smile a little since he reminded me so much of the professor. And then I worry thinking about my siblings and how they will feel when i return and tell them of all of this. "Quite a crowd we have here." he says and I nod biting into a biscuit "Lively bunch." I say. He nods and takes another draw of his pipe before blowing out some smoke that slowly forms into a boat and floats across the room. I smile as it then fades and he chuckles. "Now, how is it that you came to be here in the Shire?" I glance over at him as he awaits my answer. I set my plate down and begin telling Gandalf of when I first found the wardrobe and of the place of Narnia. He listened closely to me as I explained and rubbed his beard once I finished. "And the door opened and there stood Mr. Baggin's." Taking the pipe back in his mouth he sighed and crossed his arms as if deep in thought. Looking up I see a very angry Bilbo enter the room. Gandalf turns to him ""My dear Bilbo, what on earth is the matter?" The Hobbit breathes out"What's the matter? I'm surrounded by dwarves. What are they doing here?" I eye the wizard who dodges the question "Oh, they're quite a merry gathering, once you get used to them." Bilbo shakes his head looking down "I don't want to get used to them. The state of my kitchen! There's mud trod into the carpet, they've pillaged the pantry. I'm not even going to tell you what they've done in the bathroom; they've all but destroyed the plumbing. I don't understand what they're doing in my house!" I can't help but let a little smile peek out and I cover my mouth just as Gandalf and I walk with Bilbo into the hall. Ori, one of the younger dwarves walks over "Excuse me. I'm sorry to interrupt, but what should I do with my plate?" Fili then comes over taking it from him "Here you go, Ori, give it to me."Fili takes the plate from Ori and throws it to Kili, who throws it behind his back to Bifur, who is standing at the sink in the kitchen. Bifur catches it behind his back, without even looking at it. Kili, Fili, and other dwarves begin throwing the plates, bowls, and utensils to each other, eventually throwing them to the sink to be washed. As dish flies through the air, Gandalf grabs my shoulder pulling us down and duck to avoid getting hit. This continues on and then we hear banging and the scraping of utensil's. Bilbo shakes his finger "And cancan you not do that? You'll blunt them!" Bofur then teases him "Ooh, d'hear that, lads? He says we'll blunt the knives." With their homemade music making Kili begins singing and the other dwarves join him, as they continue throwing the dishware.
"Blunt the knives, bend the forks... Smash the bottles and burn the corks Chip the glasses and crack the plates That's what Bilbo Baggins hates! Cut the cloth and tread on the fat Leave the bones on the bedroom mat Pour the milk on the pantry floor Splash the wine on every doorDump the crocks in a boiling bowl Pound them up with a thumping pole When you've finished, if any are whole Send them down the hall to roll
I giggle watching all of them dancing, singing, and cleaning. Bofur then begins playing a flute and they all stomp their feet. Nori then bos to me and I to him and we begin dancing back and forth with looped arms. I laugh as the music continues and they all exclaim.
"That's what Bilbo Baggins hates!"
Bilbo huffs up in anger, only to find all the dishes stacked neatly and cleanly. The dwarves, Gandalf, and I laugh. Suddenly, there are three loud knocks on the door, and everyone falls silent. Gandalf turns his head "He is here." I feel nervous and look at the door as Gandalf heads over to it. The dwarves and Bilbo follow and I stay more towards the side. As Gandalf opens to door I see a dwarf, but much taller one at the door. He has long black raven hair with two beads on both sides. His beard is a little scruffy and long and his eyes are an electrifying blue."Gandalf. I thought you said this place would be easy to find. I lost my way, twice. Wouldn't have found it at all had it not been for that mark on the door." As he enter's in Bilbo looks confused at the door "Mark? There's no mark on that door. It was painted a week ago!" Gandalf closes it and nods "There is a mark; I put it there myself. Bilbo Baggins, allow me to introduce the leader of our company, Thorin Oakenshield." I look to the leader dwarf Thorin and he seems to fail to see me. his attention goes to bilbo who seems to even straighten up. "So, this is the Hobbit. Tell me, Mr. Baggins, have you done much fighting?" Bilbo raises a brow "Pardon me?"
"Axe or sword? What's your weapon of choice?"
The Hobbit clears his throat being as confused as I am "Well, I have some skill at Conkers, if you must know, but I fail to see why that's relevant." Thorin crossed his arms "Thought as much. He looks more like a grocer than a burglar." The other dwarves then laugh and I feel sorry for Bilbo seeing his embarrassed face. Lost in my own thought I fail to see Thorin whom had turned around setting his sights on me. "Who is this?" I gasp and look seeing him stare at me along with the 12 other's. I feel nervous and look at all the eyes watching me until mine settle back onto Thorin's. Softly I then say "Hello, I'm Lucy Pevensie."
