Deep within the forest, the sounds of wildlife within it can be heard, the sun shining in through the odd opening in the canopy above. Birds soaring high up in the crystal blue sky, the sounds of peace and calm, till the sound of fast footsteps are heard twigs and dirt kicked up.

Heaving breathing followed by the sound of other footsteps as quick. A young female was running through the forest making her way deeper into the forest the sun coming through but not as much as the forest gets denser, ice blue eyes look behind to see if her pursuers are still chasing. Nothing can be seen behind her  slowing slightly, allowing her ice blue orbs to scan the area and her hearing to pick up on anything, did she lose them? Was she safe?.

Before the young  female could answer her own question a twig snapped, as a large black and grey wolf lunges at her from the right side of her, acting on instinct alone she barely manages to escape her pace quickens up once again as two more wolves of the same size lunge at her from the darkness of the forest.

She had to get free of them, she knew if she stops there's no tomorrow as she'll be in an eternal sleep, being snapped from her thoughts by agony screaming from her left side as she felt a cold liquid sliding down her left side, the pungent smell of copper hits her nose. Spotting a fourth wolf that caught her off guard forcing her to the ground, within moments the pursuers were on her claws and teeth threaten her, screams of pain echo through the darkness of the forest as she fought back digging in deep,  "I need you Shizuka!, I'm losing strength!". In return a low growl erupts from the back of her mind as she felt adrenaline surge through her muscles as a second pair of eyes looks within her mind accessing the situation.

The four wolves were doing everything they could to maul the female when a yelp of pain as a grey wolf was thrown into the bushes to the left, moments later a second yelp as the white and grey wolf was thrown to the right skidding into the bushes. The last two try to keep her pinned but there was a slight opening allowing her to escape. Snarls erupt from both wolves "Idiots! Get her!, she can't get away alive!, Adel! Faral!, get up!": as the wolves give chase soon catching up with the female who was now bleeding heavily from the right side and her head. They knew she'd not last much longer.

Pain was the only thing her mind was processing, She was in so much pain and the smell of copper was stronger, she had to keep going. She wasn't going to die here.  "Howl!" Screams the voice in her mind "We can't howl it'll alert them to where I'm going!, there has to be another way!" She'd scream back in her mind, "If you don't howl we'll die and I swear to god I will haunt you in the afterlife!". The link cuts within her mind hearing the wolves closing in "fuck!", she really had no choice, raising her head breathing deep even though  her lungs were on fire letting rip a fierce and loud howl.

As her cry for help rips through the air, the calls of the wildlife around her dies, as an eerie silence falls on the forest allowing her howl to echo around in the forest. The wolves chasing her also hear it "shit!, we need to finish her now!, we only have 40 miles till we're in pack lands!". The wolves quickened the pace it was now or never as the lead wolf lunged at her. The young female hears the snarl closing from behind rapidly her heart rate quickens "No!", she'd brace for the impact of the hit, only several moments later it never came she'd skid to a halt falling forward but managing to regain her balance, only for her eyes to widen at the scene in front of her eyes.

The wolf was mere inches from grabbing her "watch out!", the wolf in his mind screams but by the time he reacted another grey wolf had slammed into him from the side and had him pinned down amber eyes looking to his green ones a low growl escapes the grey wolves throat "your trespassing on pack lands mutts, and trying to kill a female", the wolves tongue licking his teeth as another snarl rips through the air before the pinned wolf could reply he felt  the grey wolf latch onto his throat and then nothing.

The remaining three wolves skid to a halt as they witnessed the leader of the group die "did he say pack lands?....that's not possible we are Niels from a pack!?". The grey wolf that was pinning the now deceased wolf looks to the three wolves it's amber eyes looking to them with deadly intent "your all trespassing on pack lands that belong to Blue Sword Pack, turn around now or die of your choice". As he was almost taunting them. A grey and  black wolf that was from  the aggressor team tenses up "ahhh you fool Zeus!, he gave us shit information!, blue sword owns these lands we have to go now!, we stay here we'll die!". The second wolf looks to the female and scoffs "we our number it two to one we can take on this wolf!",  as the second wolf looks to pack wolf "hand over the girl and we'll leave but fail to do so and you'll die", the group all chuckle getting pumped up on the word of the wolf.

The pack wolf shakes his head "I thought you'd be smarter", as he lets out a howl and the area comes alive with 10 pairs of different coloured eyes as they step out the overwhelming scent of pack wolves invaded the area all the eyes look to the pack wolf in the open who simply nods his head. The group of wolves smelt and saw the eyes before they could get away wolves rushed them tearing  into them the blooded screams and yelps of the trio heard. All while the female watches beyond belief till she sees the amber eyes of the wolf looking to her, his eyes flash lighter for a few moments before going back to normal "I'm under orders to take you to the pack house and have your wounds seen to".  When she went to reply she staggers a bit and winced in pain "nnnn I'm sorry", her wolf says to her through the link , the strength fades and the last thing she sees is a tall figure standing over her as she feels weightless and floating in nothing.
