All of the fighters were inside a blimp.
Misty was sitting beside Gramadon and was trying to not to freak out she was terrified of heights.
"What are you looking at, Zippy?" Jay said he had a cast on.
"The next one out of the tournament." Turner said
"Uh, heh." Jay said
"Why so scared to show us your back, Shadow? Worried we're gonna find a tattoo and know you're working for Chen?" Kai said
"I hope this next fight is between you and me because I'm gonna put you on your back." Shadow said
Mr. Pale Whistled
"Do you mind?" Skylor said she sounded annoyed
"Tensions are high." Garmadon said
"Yeah, not as high as we are now. Can hardly see the island from up here." Lloyd said
"Please don't say that out loud. I'm on the verge of passing out..." Misty muttered and she placed her hand's over her ears.
"I've had enough of this. I can't stand heights, Where's Chen?" Nuero said and he walked to the front of the blimp and opened the door. The pilots seat was empty.
There was a video screen that switched on though "How do I know if this thing's on? Oh, oh, oh, I see, the light. Oh, oh, I'm on? Right now? Ahem, ahem. Hello, final eight. I see you are all eager for the tournament to commence so one of you can win my Staff of Elements. Instead of fighting for a Jade Blade, today you will be fighting for something different." Chen said and the picture changed from his face to a girl running.
"Nya" Kai said
"You know her?" Skylor said
"It's my sister." Kai said
"We have an uninvited guest on the island." Chen said
"And she must be holding the proof that will stop Chen." Kai muttered
"Find her and you will automatically move on--" Chen said
"The spell he plans to use when he takes our powers." Kai added
"--to the final found." Chen finished
"He wants us all to hunt her down? She won't stand a chance." Jay yelped
"Then we have to tell her before anyone else does." Lloyd said And all of the ninja flip up their masks.
"In 10 seconds the bottom will drop." Chen said
All of them Gasped
"But to show you I'm not a bad man, I've given you eight parachutes." Chen said
of them Screamed and ran for the parachutes that were hanging on hooks on the wall.
"Sensei Garmadon is there? Shoot, that makes ten Oh well, I was never good at math. Heh. Toodle-oo." Chen said.
The floor began to open.
"That guy's love for trap doors is seriously getting on my nerves!" Lloyd shouted
The floor opened and all f them fell.
Shadow was the first to get a parachute
"Lloyd, use our energy dragon!
"I can't! I can't get it to work!" Lloyd shouted
Skylor had a chute and so did Turner Jay fell on Turner's chute and was holding on.
"Get your own chute, lead foot!" Turner shouted to Jay
"Aah! I got one! I got one! Ha-ha-ha!" Jay shouted as he caught a parachute
Lloyd was still trying.
"Your powers don't work because you aren't controlling your fear. Focus." Garmadon said
Lloyd had reached a parachute but Mr. Pale took it from him
"Misty! create a shield from your crystal it will save you from the impact!" Garmadon shouted.
"What about you and Lloyd?" Misty yelped as she tumbled through the air can I incase you both?"
"No, only you can survive incased inside, your element might be tainted and corrupted, but there are good things that come from that happening!" Garmadon shouted
"Control your fear. Don't let it control you. Center yourself." He shouted to his son.
Kai had gotten a chute but it was stolen from him by Neuro. He was able to catch another
" Huh? Whoa! There's only one parachute left!" Kai said
"We'll share." Lloyd said
"They're only built for one. This is an easy decision." Garmadon said
"You're right." Lloyd said and he opened the chute and let go.
"What have you done?"
"Control my fear." Lloyd said to himself
"Huh. He made it!" Kai shouted as Lloyd came out riding.
"Ha, ha! Of course he did!" Jay said
"Thattaboy!" Garmadon shouted
"Where's Misty!?" Lloyd shouted
Then he saw Misty tumbled past him through the air.
She hadn't been able to finish her shield and it was unfinished.
"Misty!" The ninja shouted
Lloyd an his dragon dove after the half finished crystal ball but were not able to catch it as it tumbled into a patch of thick trees that Lloyd's dragon could not get through.
Lloyd and Garmadon landed somewhere near where they think Misty might have landed.
Both of the hurried through the trees and they spotted shard of Crystal on the ground. They soon saw Misty on the ground shards of crystal from her half finished shield surrounded her.
"No..no.. Misty please be alive.." Lloyd said
and he and his father hurried over to the girl.
Her eye's were closed.
"Misty! open your eyes! Please!" Lloyd said he reached down and gently brushed a piece of hair to the side that was covering Misty's face.
"Son I'm afraid that Misty might not wake up..." Garmadon said sadly.
"She will wake up I know she will..." Lloyd said
Misty began to stir, and she slowly opened her eyes.
"Why can't I be like a cat and always land on my feet, instead on my back." she complained
"Misty! Your okay Thank Goodness!" Lloyd said and he hugged her tightly.
"Well of course I am!" Misty said
" If we're gonna find Nya before the others do, we've got a lot of ground to cover." Garmadon said
