"Kai, back here!" Lloyd said
"Jay?, Cole?, Misty?" Kai said in disbelief
"Ha. You too?" Cole said
"The runt tricked us all!" Jay growled
"He didn't trick me..." Misty muttered
Kai reached for some of the food like Cole did.
"We talk first, then eat." Lloyd said
"Ugh. Trust me, do you know what kind of restraint I've had to have staring at all of this noodle goodness? Your Late!" Cole complained
"Make it quick" Kai said
"I know without Zane things have been different, but we have to move on. The Reason I brought you all here is because, Maybe we should add someone new to our team." Lloyd said
"A new ninja?" Kai said
"Are you crazy!" Jay shouted
"Come on, Zane's irreplaceable!" Cole added
All of them looked at Misty to see what she would say.
"Lloyd... " Misty placed a hand on Lloyd's shoulder and added "Their right... we can't replace Zane... he wasn't just part of our team he was a part of our family."
"I cared for him too, but now it's time to care about this team." Lloyd said
"Maybe without Zane there is no team." Kai said
No one spoke until they heard the door open.
And a group of some not so nice looking guys walked in.
"Oh. Don't look now, but we've got trouble." Jay said
The leader shoved the people that were in line to the ground.
And the Cashier opened the cash box, and the gang took all the money.
"We have to help!" Misty said and struggled against both Lloyd and Jay to get out of the booth.
The Gang demanded more money but the cashier had none.
They took the poor man and slammed him down on the conver belt stopping the food from traveling down.
"All right, now they're our problem" Cole said and the Ninja got out of their booth.
"Excuse me, it's not polite to touch someone else's food!" Cole said
"I'd listen to him if I were you. He's no fun to be around when he's hangry." Kai said
The leader tried to punch Cole but Cole stopped the attack with his chop sticks, and motioned for them to try again.
At every attempt the leader made Cole stopped him with his chop sticks.
Kai jumped up on the side of the conver belt but then the leader pushed a button and the belt moved faster.
Two of the other members jumped up and Kai started kicking plates of food in their faces.
"All right, I admit it. We make a good team." Kai said as he continued to kick the plates of food.
As Cole and continued to fight he took pieces of food off the plates that were flying past him.
"Everything's better on a full stomach." Cole said
But then the bad guy he was fighting punched a plate that had food on it.
"Hey, I was gonna eat that!" Cole shouted
He threw the guy who landed on the belt face first in a blow of noodles.
Then Kai knocked down both of his guys.
"How can you walk away from this?" Lloyd said
The bad guys tumbled off the belt and ran out the door.
"Hey, let's get them, guys." Cole cheered.
"Oh. Where did they go? " Kai said "Huh?"
Then they saw a strange shrine it had a drawing of Zane that was stabbed into the wall using a Ninja Sais which was usually Misty's chosen weapon.
"What's this?" Lloyd said
"It's Zane!" Kai said
"What does it say" Cole said
"It says he's alive." Lloyd said after he looked over that he took down.
All of the ninjas gasped.
"This better not be a sick joke." Misty said
"I don't think those thugs were delivering a message to the noodle house. I think they were delivering a message to us." Kai said
"What do you mean, it says "he's alive?" Jay asked
"Hey, I'm Just telling you what it says." Lloyd said
"Why would those thugs lead us here? Kai said
"You know Misty's right, this has to be some cruel joke. And I'm not laughing!" Cole said
"Look, I think this was meant for us too."
It was a plate of fortune cookies.
"Fortune cookies? Very peculiar.."
"Should we?" Lloyd said
"No.. just in case their..." Misty didn't get to finish what she was saying because Cole took one off the plate and ate it.
Everyone was staring at Cole in disbelief except for Misty who had face palmed and was muttering something about poison cookies.
"Uh, you do realize there's a fortune inside, right?" Kai said.
"Oh, so that's why the're called that." Cole said
Lloyd had opened his. "Listen to this."

"Master Chen has personally invited you to participate in his Tournament of Elements."

"Wait a minute. Are you saying that Mr. Chen, the same guy filling my belly with delicious goodness, is actually Master Chen?" Cole yelped

"Secrecy is of the utmost importance. Tell no one, or suffer the consequences." Kai said

"If you ever want to see your friend again, meet on the pier at midnight and leave your weapons behind." Jay said

The piece of paper then disappeared with a poof all of there's did even Coles. All but Misty who hadn't opened hers and it was still sitting o the plate.

"Uhh. At least I know I was invited." Cole said

all everyone was laughing except for Misty who slowly approached the table and broke open her cookie she read what was inside and gasped. None of the ninjas heard her.

"You don't think...?" Lloyd said
"It could be a trap, a Lie to lure us in." Kai agreed
"Yeah, but what if it's not? What if Zane's alive?" Jay said

The Tournament of Elements. I'm starting to think this Master Chen makes more than noodles. You can forget bringing in a new Ninja, Lloyd. Let's go see about an old one. Kai said
"Misty are you in?" Lloyd asked
"I'm not sure guys something seems off but if there's a chance to get Zane back then I'm in!" Misty said she didn't tell them what was in her cookie.
