Zane had gotten back control of the navigation, but just then the screen switched over to show Lloyd making his way through a dark hallway.

"It's Harumi, She wants us to watch." Kai said

-Lloyd-

Lloyd reached the middle of the prison, the lights turned on and Lloyd heard heavy breathing and then his fathers voice, say. "It was foolish to come here!"

Lloyd activated his element and shouted, "Show yourself Father!"

-Mai-

Mai continued to climb higher and higher she had to reach the top maybe she could blast a hole and enter that way, she had become completely physical now, and she lost her footing and fell she crashed to the ground hard, but got back up only to start climbing again.

-Lloyd-

Garmadon entered and snarled but said, "You... you've changed."

"So have you, I don't wanna have to fight you." Lloyd said and the green light died from his hands

Lord Garmadon just roared and jumped forward and his fist smashed the ground where Lloyd had been standing.

Lloyd jumped back, and for a second it looked as if his green energy flickered around him becoming weaker. His hands started glowing green again as he landed prepared to defend himself.

But as Garmadon ran at him Lloyd just jumped up on the next floor railing and shouted down to his father. "Please, this isn't you!"

"This is the new me!" Lord Garmadon shouted

Garmadon then conjured a ball of purple energy. "You have power?!" Lloyd said

Garmadon shot it at his son who dodged it he shot more and Lloyd was able to dodge all of them, and soon landed back behind his father, and said, "I didn't come to fight you!"

Garmadon turned around he was breathing heavy, and Lloyd continued, "My father is somewhere in there, I've saved you once, I'll save you again." Lloyd said as Garmadon stalked toward him.

"There is nothing left to save!" Garmadon screamed and charged toward the green ninja

Lloyd jumped backward and his hands once more glowed green. Garmadon swung a two armed punch that Lloyd barely dodged, the wall that he had been standing in front of had been destroyed.

"I've played many roles." Garmadon said and he shot a blast at Lloyd it hit him, and Lloyd gasped the again green energy flickered around him, he was hit again and the same result.

Lloyd actually tried shooting a blast back but Garmadon easily just absorbed the energy, he shot another blast.

"Worn many masks" he began listing them, "Father!" Garmadon said and he blasted Lloyd, "Husband!" Lloyd was hit by another bast. "Brother!" Lloyd was able to dodge that one. "Teacher!" But that one slammed into Lloyd, who shouted in pain, as he scrambled back up and took another step backward.

"But only one was summoned back!" Garmadon shouted

Lloyd tried to run but Garmadon blasted him and it slammed into Lloyd causing him to fly backward and into a cell slamming into the wall and falling onto the cot.

"Destoryer!" Garmadon shouted

Lloyd got back to his feet and ran at Garmadon and started figthing him hand to hand combat.

Garmadon during the fight began to give off a purple aura of power.

-Mai-

Mai had made it to the top, but she knew better than to just blast a hole, encase she ended up plummeting to the ground, she created a black crystal and started smashing it against the stone.

-Lloyd-

Garmadon and Lloyd continued to fight but Garmadon was starting to beat Lloyd.

The other ninja were pushing the Bounty to it's limit.

"Listen to me. You don't have to do this, Harumi is using you as a pawn!" Lloyd shouted as he continued to fight.

"You are the pawn, to your own foolish hopes!" Garmadon shouted as he landed more blows

He grabbed Lloyd and flung him through a wall.

Lloyd struggled to get up and made it to his feet, he tried to blast Garmadon once more but it did nothing.

And Garmadon continued to hurt Lloyd more, finally he blasted Lloyd back out of the cell. Lloyd got up and realized he had no choice his hands glowed green, and again him and Garmadon fought it was a blur of green and purple, but Lloyd again was tossed against the wall he got to his feet and Garmadon three large broken piece of the wall some of the hit Lloyd.

Mai had managed to blast a hole and saw Lloyd looked around and then Garmadon landed in front of him and grabbed Lloyd by the throat.

"You wouldn't hurt me, your son." Lloyd said

"I have no son!" Garmadon shouted.

Mai then rushed to the the edge of the roof and jumped off and to the ground just as Lloyd was thrown through several walls, and flew over the edge.

Mai tried to grab his hand but couldn't she looked to her left and saw Garmadon was standing there. He readied another blast at Lloyd, Mai dove down to where Lloyd was laying, and she landed beside him and placed herself in front of Lloyd her back received the blast instead, her back was left smoking and raw.

Lloyd started dragging himself away, as soon a Mai was sure Garmadon wasn't coming to finish Lloyd off she rushed to Lloyd, was continued to try to drag himself, she dropped down beside him and was just able to her him whisper "father.." She tried to grab the picture that flew out of his hand but the wind took it. She then gently turned Lloyd over on his back and said, "It's going to be okay... I'm here, I promise I wouldn't leave you." She moved so Lloyd's head was resting in her lap, and she gently pushed his hair from in front of his face. "I'm here..." she whispered Lloyd reached up toward her face and just managed to place his hand on the side of her face before it fell limp and his eyes closed.

"Lloyd! please don't close your eyes! Wake up! Lloyd? Lloyd!" Mai cried, she lowered her head and tears slipped from her face. "Lloyd... please... I know you said you didn't want me here... I know you told me to go back to where I came from...and I promise I will, just please come back."

It must have been for a few more hours, until lights shone down on where Mai and Lloyd were.

The Ninja lowered a stretcher down like they had down for Zane they brought Lloyd and Mai jump.

They placed Lloyd in a bed, and left Pixel and Mitsu to watch over him for the first watch.

Mai was sitting on her bed... well Misty's bed staring out the window, when she heard a knock at the door, she turned to see Cole standing in the doorway, holding a first aid kit.

"You should go and take care of Lloyd first." Mai said

"We did all we could...but Lloyd needs more than bandages, you on the other hand..." Cole said Mai had almost forgotten about the blast she had taken. "It doesn't hurt" she said

"From what I can see it'll hurt later on, just let me help you." Cole said

Mai was reluctant, the only boy who had ever helped her with dressing her wounds was Lloyd well when she was Misty was is.

Cole seemed to have guess this was what she was thinking and said, "I know Lloyd's usually the one who helps you, and I would get Nya or Pixal but both of them are busy."

"Why do you feel like it's your job to help me?" Mai asked

Cole shuffled his feet but finally said, "Before Lloyd became the Green Ninja, I was the leader of the team, so when Lloyd's gone I feel like it's my job to take care you guys, even you Misty."

"It's Mai... and I assume you've met Mistu." Mai corrected

"Yes, I have... it's just you remind me more of Misty than the other half or you." Cole said

"Mistu is the more disciplined side of Misty, while I'm the more free-spirited I guess you could say," Mai said

Cole actually laughed and said, "I never knew Misty to be disciplined and formal."

Mai despite herself laughed and said, "Your right Misty always seemed to do things her own way." when Mai spoke about her whole self it felt as if she was talking about an old friend, one that wasn't around anymore.

"Do you think... you'll ever.. you know..." Cole said awkwardly

Mai knew what he was wanting to ask about, and said, "Me and Mistu are trying to figure out how to restore ourselves back to begin Misty...but we're unsure how to do it."

"Right." Cole said and he lifted the first aid kit up higher as if to remind Mai why he had come in the first place.

"Oh..um.. right.." Mai said awkwardly

"Mai I promise I won't do anything bad." Cole said

"Fine...Here could you shut the door and turn around?" Mai finally said with an exasperated sigh

Cole did as he was told.

Mai then took off her destroyed top and wrapped a blanket around her self but leaving her back open, a bandage could be placed.

Mai, took a deep breath and tightened her hold on the blanket and then said, "Okay, you can turn back around."

Cole turned around and saw that Mai still had her back towards him but had wrapped a blanket around herself. He felt awkward because he knew this was something Lloyd should be doing for Misty... or at least someone who was basically her.

But he walked forward and sat down on the bed behind Mai and, opened the first aid kit he then reached in it and found some gauze, and some medical tape. He placed a piece on one of the first minor wounds. When the blast had it Mai, it had made uneven damage, leaving minor cuts and injurious, and bruise and burns. He hated to image what Lloyd had went through.

When he placed it though Mai flinched, and Cole apologized and then said, "here I'll talk to you while I do this maybe it'll help you with the pain."

FontMai nodded, but still remained silent.

"I missed you...a lot." Cole said softly, Mai turned around and looked back at Cole's face.

Cole coughed awkwardly and looked away, his face turning red slightly and said, "We all did...not just me that is..."

Mai smiled though and said, "Yeah... I missed you guys too, it was really lonely with just the other me to talk to, like you said she was kind of a stick in the mud."

Cole laughed but said "yeah."

Mai felt Cole gently placed another bandage on her back, as he added,"Even so I still really-" but then he cut off what he was saying.

"What were you going to say." Mai asked

"Oh, nothing," Cole said softly, and he looked away, unable to look Mai in the eyes and then said, "I finished by the way."

"Oh, um thank you," Mai said

Cole then started packing up the kit, and said, "if you ever need anything come and get me."

"Thanks, Cole," Mai said and she smiled at him.

Cole nodded and then stood up and walked toward the door but before he could shut it, he heard Mai start crying, he wanted to comfort her but he knew it wasn't his place. So he gently closed the door instead and walked away, but he looked back at the door that he knew behind it was a broken girl...Trying to put things back together but while she herself was still broken, physically, Mentally and Emotionally. He wished he could help her even if it was only one side of Misty...He wanted to help her, even if it meant eventually losing her in the future.
