Finally, the ninja burst out of the white tunnel of death and motion sickness and they fell through the air. Only to crash into white powdery snow and then only to start what felt like tumbling down the side of a mountain. They flipped through the air and screamed Misty felt as if her stomach was in her chest and her heart had flown out the window. They finally landed only to be hanging upside down in their chairs.

Lloyd grunted and called out, "Everyone... okay?"

Cole groaned and said, "Great, now I know how my socks feel in the dryer,"

"I think I swallowed my teeth," Kai admitted

The ninja unbuckled themselves and landed on their feet except for Misty and Jay. Misty landed on her stomach and began to kiss the ceiling of the bounty and said, "I've never been so happy to be alive!" Jay landed on his head and knocked Kai to his feet in the process. "I'm not liking this Realm so far," Jay whined

"Me... Ugh, neither," Kai groaned

Nya walked over to the control panel and jumped up and pressed a button she then turned to the others and said, "We're off the map, coordinates unknown,"

Cole helped Misty to her feet and said, "Looks like we made it,"

"From what Master Wu said getting here isn't the hard part. It's getting home," He then noticed he was missing something and started looking around and said, "The Traveler's Tea?" Cole then picked up the pouch and smiled. "Good. Whatever happens, don't-" Just then there was rumbling and the bounty shook, "What was that?" Jay whimpered Lloyd ran to the window and that's when he saw the Bounty tittering off of the edge of a cliff. "Oh, no," he said

"What? What is it?" Jay asked and he started walking toward Lloyd. Lloyd then turned around and shouted, "No, don't!" Jay stopped but it was too late the damage was done. And the bounty started tipping forward. Nya and Kai were near the exit and Nya shouted, "We have to get out of here! Now!" Nya ran and pressed the button the door opened the ninja ran out of the falling vehicle. Cole barely managed to exit the vehicle and reach back to grab Misty's hand. He was holding onto the cliff edge and Misty was dangling from his other hand.

"Cole! Misty!" Nya shouted

Kai managed to grab Cole and pulled both him and Misty to safety

They looked over the edge wearily, and Jay scoffed and said, "Worst parking spot ever,"

Cole let out a sigh and said, "I thought for a second," He then started looking through his pockets and shouted, "Oh, no!"

"What?!" Jay shouted

"The Traveller's Tea! It... it's gone!" Cole shouted

"Well, that's just great! That's awesome! Now, we're stuck on a mountain in the middle of a blizzard with no vehicle, no supplies, and no way back!" Jay screamed

Kai groaned in frustration and shouted, "How could you drop it?"

"We nearly fell over a cliff! I had other things on my..." Cole said

Lloyd cut in and shouted, "Guys! This is not helping! Nya anything on the tracker?"

Nya looked at the display screen and said, "Nothing, No signal,"

"No of course not. That would be too easy, that would give us hope!" Jay scowled

"So, what do we do?" Cole asked

"We need to get off this mountain before we all freeze to death," Lloyd said The ninja trudged through the snow, they walked for what seemed like miles finally they reached a forest they took off their masks and entered it. They were shivering by this point. Cole said, "I'm so cold," his voice was shaking and Kai tried to use his powers to no result and said, "If I still had my powers. I could whip us up a fire,"

"It's not your fault," Lloyd said just then they heard growling and turned to see a pack of wolves stalking toward them.

"Run!" shouted and the ninja took off running, the wolves hot on their trail.

Lloyd ran into a tree and fell behind the group ran back to him and helped him up, the wolves had surrounded them but weren't attacking them.

"Why aren't they attacking?" Cole asked nervously.

"I don't know that's really creepy," Jay said thoughtfully and the wolves ran off, "Let's go before they come back," Lloyd said they walked a few steps only to find the clearing full of ice crystals inside them were people.

"What happened to them?" Kai asked

Nya walked over to one that was a woman her face was in a silent scream and Nya pressed her ear against the ice and said hopefully, "I can hear a heartbeat! Looks like they've been frozen," Cole tried using his lava arm to break open one that held a man but with no use. And he rubbed his arm and said, "Frozen by what?"

Misty reached out and touched one of the ice crystals and shuddered as she saw the person inside it.

The tracker then started beeping and Nya shouted, "Lloyd! I just picked up a faint signal. From the Mech!"

"Where?" Cole asked

Nya then pointed the tracker in a direction and said, "That way. Due east," The ninja started walking but Jay then spoke up and said, "What about all these people? They're still alive!"

"He's right we can't leave them here!" Misty added

"There's nothing we can do for them now. We don't even know what happened," Lloyd said

"We have to keep moving. It'll be dark soon. We can come back and help them when we figure out what happened," The ninja nodded and left the area they followed Nya as she lead them with the tracker and she reported to them saying, "The signal's very faint. Must be some interference or something,"

"Maybe it's the cold," Lloyd offered

"Or the beacon on the Mech is..." Jay never got to finish his sentence as they heard growling and the wolves had returned and were closing in on them.

"Oh great!" Nya shouted

"I'm getting a little tired of this!" Kai growled

"Yeah, I think I'm done running." Cole agreed and added, "What do you say, guys?"

"Here they come!" Jay warned the wolves were closing in on them and the ninja lifted their hoods and prepared to fight.

The wolves rushed toward them and Lloyd "Shouted let them have it!" He shot one with his element causing it to fall backward. Only for another one to tackle him and he flung it into a tree. Jay shocked another with lightning but he and Nya were tossed aside by another. Nya was being closed in on the wolves and Kai shouted, Nya use your powers!"

"I'm trying, but nothing's happening!" Nya cried

"We're surrounded by water!" Kai screamed

"It's all frozen!" Nya shouted back before the wolf could attack Nya arrows landed on the ground in front of the wolf scaring it off. They looked up and saw three people dressed in furs and blue coats, bearing scars staring at them. A woman with gray hair and a scar on her face motioned for them to follow her. The ninja followed them and they lead them across a frozen pond to a small village of wooden houses. The villagers lead them to a certain house in the village, and once the door was pushed open the ninja peeked into the room before entering concerned and cautious. They saw an older woman sitting beside a fire with her eyes closed. The woman opened her eyes and then smiled at the ninja and motioned to them to come in and said, "Come. Come. Warm yourselves," The ninja hurried into the house and sat down around the fire. "Thank you, Thank you!" Kai said

Jay stretched and said, "That feels good,"

Misty let out a content sigh as she sat beside Lloyd and said, "I never thought I'd be warm again,"

"Who are you? What is this place?" Nya asked

"Oh, this is my home. I am Sorla, of the People of Great Lake. Who are you? Where do you come from?" Sorla asked

"Far away," Lloyd replied

"Beyond the forest?"

Lloyd nodded and the hunters behind him murmured amongst themselves. In hushed voices and Sorla asked again, "Beyond the mountains?" Lloyd got to his feet and said, "Yes," The hunters were still murmuring in wonder, as Lloyd continued to explain by saying, "We come from... from a place called Ninjago, We're looking for a friend of ours. His name is Zane,"

"Oh, we have seen no one for many years, we are the last tribe on the ice. The others have all fled south, and soon, we too must go, the cold grows too strong. The ice, too thick. But perhaps, Sorla can help." She then picked up a black blow and ushered the ninja toward her and said, Look, come, look into the hearth Fire. Lloyd sat back down beside Misty and Sorla threw a handful of what was in the blow into the fire. And the fire turned and green shade in color. "Tell me again the name of your friend?"

"Zane," Lloyd said

"And the place from which he came?"

"Ninjago," Nya repiled

Sorla then closed her eyes and said, "Show us, spirits of the earth, spirits of the lake, show us the fate of Zane from Ninjago. And before their eyes, the green flames expanded filling the room with smoke and inside the smoke, they could see a dreadful-looking palace made of ice. The ninja gasped. Then one of the hunters shouted, "The Emperor!" "The Castle of Ice!" Another murmured

Lloyd and Misty looked back at them noticing their fear, and Sorla said, "I... I am sorry for your loss," the fire returned to normal as Lloyd and Misty turned back, "What do you mean?" Lloyd asked.

"You cannot save your friend, He has been taken prisoner by the Ice Emperor. For decades he has ruled this realm, crushing all who stand in his way. His Ice Castle is on the other side of the mountains. A bitter, foul place where the ice is corrupt. A place we do not go!" Sorla said.

"Zane is there, in this Ice Castle?" Lloyd asked

Sorla nodded and Lloyd asked, "Can you show us the way?"

"You cannot! It is too cold! The ice there is evil! Dark Ice! No one goes there but the Emperor and his Blizzard Samurai and they are inhuman. Only a fool would go there. Your friend is lost," Sorla said

Misty stood to her feet beside Lloyd and said, "Zane's not gone! I won't believe it! No Dark Ice or Ice Emperor and his dumb castle are going to stand in my way!"

Lloyd nodded his head and said, "I refuse to believe that too. Zane is strong. I know him, and he would never give up on us, and we're not gonna give up on him!"

"Yeah, and if you think we're not fools, you've got another thing coming!" Cole cheered

"Ninja never quit," Nya agreed

"All of you speak as one?" Sorla asked

"We speak as one," Lloyd agreed the Ninjas stood together as a team, and Sorla smiled and said, "Your friend is very fortunate." her expression then turned grim and she said, but be warned The Emperor's general, Vex, sees many things. The Dark Ice serves him if he knows you are here, he will warn the Emperor,"

"Vex?" Lloyd asked

"He will send his Samurai, they feel nothing, they fear nothing, they will come for you," Sorla warned there was terror in her voice. And Misty's eyes narrowed upon hearing it and she said, "We'll be ready then,"
