They began to make their way through the palace as stealthily as possible

"Which way is the Throne Room?" Lloyd asked

"To the left, but we can't go there yet. There's something we have to take care of first." Grimfax replied there was then the sound of a door opening Grimfax then hissed "Hide! " four Blizzard Warriors walk into view, and the Resistance watched from then their hiding spot above them in the rafters.

Kataru accidentally nudged some snow and it fell to the ground. The Warriors jump at the sound and look around, but they head on and the Resistance jumped down silently behind them.

"Vex has a corrupted shard of ice, It is all-seeing. So long as he possesses that, there is no hope of victory. We must destroy it first." Grimfax explained

"That explains a lot," Misty muttered

"How do you know he isn't watching us right now?" Lloyd asked

"If he were, we would already be caught," Grimfax said

We better hurry then," Kataru added

"Which way?" Lloyd asked Grimfax pointed in a direction and they head off.

"You're sure he's not watching us?" Lloyd whispered

"Like I said, if he were watching the Crystal, we wouldn't have gotten this far," Grimfax said and they turned a corner and gasped when they ran into Vex and a group of Blizzard Samurai.

"You were saying?" Vex said and he laughed evilly and the Samurai grinned in response. Kataru immediately transforms into his bear form and Grimfax whips out his ice axe from behind.

"Run!" Grimfax growled

"We have to stay together and—" Lloyd shouted

"No! You must awaken your friend or all is lost! We will hold them back as long as we can!" Grimfax shouted and He pushed Lloyd and Misty away and shouted, "Go! Rrgh!" They charged and start distracting the army. Lloyd turned and ran to the Throne Room. Misty followed him.

"Take care both of you!" Misty shouted behind her.

As they ran they whipped around a corner, only to be met with four Blizzard Warriors they were blocking the entrance to the throne room, and they pointed their spears at them and he and Misty exchanged quick looks before throwing on their hoods. Lloyd shot out an energy ball at one of the Warriors and Spinjitzus another Misty encased the other two in crystal blocks and shouted, "How does that feel!" Four more appear behind them and Lloyd prepared to take them down.

But Misty then stepped in front of Lloyd and said, "Give me a second will yah? I need to blow off some steam," Her eyes glowed purple and she blast a wave of crystal at the warriors encasing the four in crystal blocks. Repressed Anger flowed through her veins and soon her surroundings became nothing blurs and the noise was all but muddled, "Once she was finished she caught a glimpse of her reflection in the crystal and her eyes dimmed and she shuddered at what she saw, She felt Lloyd grabbed her arm and said, "We have to go Misty!"

"You're right...We have to save Zane," Misty said her voice trembling. They turned to the door and they kicked it open together.

"It's time we finished this, Zane!" Lloyd shouted

"Zane?" Akita said she was on the ground and in front of the ice Emperor one of her hands was frozen in ice.

Zane growled and narrowed his eyes.

Lloyd prepared his Energy, his hands glowing green and he said, "Once... and for all,"

With pain in her eyes, Misty prepared her element as well, her hands glowed a purple light and she braced herself for a fight.
