As Misty arrived on the deck she heard Zane's voice over the loudspeaker say, "All hands to the bridge," Once she had climbed up the ladder she went and stood beside Lloyd and was shortly joined by Kai, Jay, and Cole. Garmadon let out a loud cough and all the Ninja jumped to face him it was obvious that tension was running high, and Garmadon said, "The Oni arrived in this Realm through a portal or rift in-between our world and theirs." Garmadon then with his hands behind his back started walking toward the group.

Lloyd pushed Misty behind him and moved to stand in front of the others and her, as Garmadon approached. The other Ninja moved nervously with bated breath prepared for a fight, as Garmadon continued to talk and walk toward them he eventually turned and started pacing instead. The ninja's eyes never stopped moving from his form. "There are only one or two ways this is possible, and I'm willing to wager it would have been through the Realm Crystal, to stop this darkness from spreading the crystal must be destroyed."

Zane then started typing on the keyboard and said, "The Realm Crystal is currently housed in the new high-security vault below Borg Tower." Zane said

Nya rushed over and stared at the screen and said, "That's smack in the middle of Ninjago City!"

"Um, we just escaped from there, remember? It's engulfed in a giant black cloud of destruction! Now you're asking us to turn around and go back?" Kai shouted turning to Garmadon, the other ninja was again staring at him with less than pleasant looks.

"I ask nothing. I am telling you that if you wish to stop the darkness, the crystal must be destroyed." Garmadon said

"And I'm telling you, forget it. Just one of those black cloud tentacle things got my foot for a second and nearly froze me solid. We wouldn't last a minute inside the darkness!" Cole shouted

"That is correct. You are merely human. I, however, am Oni I can enter the darkness, make my way to the crystal and destroy it. I will, of course, require a weapon." Garmadon said matter of factly.

"HAHA! Fact Chance!" Cole shouted with a laugh.

"Do you really expect us to just hand you a sword and let you go?" Lloyd said

"If you wish to live, yes," Garmadon said

"Well, forget it! No way! I wouldn't trust you with a.... a... a..." Lloyd said

"a pillow?" Kai offered

Cole, Jay, Nya, and Lloyd looked at Kai with very unamused are you serious looks.

"It's the most harmless thing I could think of," Kai said

"You could actually still kill someone with a pillow...." Misty muttered under her breath.

"It's not going to happen! You're not going anywhere. Not without me. I'm your son, remember? I'm Oni too." Lloyd said and he stepped forward face to face with his father.

Garmadon leaned forward and said, "No, you are part Oni." and he shoved Lloyd backward, Misty caught him and the other ninja got into a fighting stance as Garmadon continued to say.

"That means you might survive, your little girlfriend has a better chance of surviving going down there than you, "begin more Oni than you, although since they are gunning for her, it'd be unwise to send her into the lion's den willingly."

Lloyd narrowed his eyes and said, "I guess we'll find out because she won't be going." Garmadon walked off as the ship flew back toward Ninjago City.

Misty then turned to Lloyd even though he was about to walk off to speak to the others. And grabbed his sleeve and said, "Why wouldn't I go with you?!"

Lloyd stiffened and turned to Misty who was standing behind him tapping her foot with an annoyed look on her face, "Because he's right, even though you'd have a good chance of surviving down there in the darkness. The Oni are still supposedly gunning after you. If you go down there would be like just offering you to them..." Lloyd said

"It should be up to me if I go or not.... this is about stopping a threat to Ninjago. Not just some family feud that my mother's people have with me... because of her... I'm not going to just sit this one out because the enemy is actually gunning for me in particle. I didn't sit out when we were fighting Morro and Nya didn't sit out when we were fighting Nadakhan. So I think it's unfair if you believe I should sit this one out as well." Misty snapped

Lloyd's brow furrowed and he said, "I did have you sit out in a way I forbid you using any wishes or the word wish..."

Misty smirked and said, "Yeah well that was before my rebellious stage... so good luck with getting me to listen now." she patted Lloyd on the side of the face and said, and she then walked off to Zane who was getting a GoPro ready for Lloyd.

Lloyd then opened his mouth to retort but Misty was already gone. Lloyd let out an exasperated sigh and walked over to Cole.

"So do I get one?" Misty as Zane as he was fiddling it the camera. "Lloyd has already told me that you will not be embarking on the mission with him," Zane said matter of factly.

They had arrived at Ninja City and were flying above the cloud. Lloyd had his sword on his back and Zane strapped the camera on his head, and explained, "This will allow us to see what'd happening inside the cloud."

"You sure you want to do this Lloyd?" Kai asked

"I'll be fine. Don't worry" Lloyd said

"That assumption is unfounded. You are mostly human. That side of you is weak." Garmadon said

"It's also stubborn. Let's go. Give him a sword, Cole." Lloyd said

Cole took a sword from the deck of the ship and walked over to Garmadon and said, "Uh... Are you sure about that?"

Lloyd just nodded and Cole eventually just tossed the sword at Garmadon's feet unwilling to go anywhere near him. He then turned his back only to have Kai shout "look out!"

Garmadon leaped into the air and brought his sword down where Cole had been standing, Cole staggered backward and grabbed his hammer, and began to defend himself. Only to be tossed aside by Garmadon. Jay jumped in only to have the same thing happen even being tossed onto Cole. The others started fighting to attempt to defend themselves only to be defeated by Garmadon in the end.

"Try that again... now that I'm ready!" Cole shouted just as Garmadon's hand was enveloped in purple energy and he sighed and said, "That's better! " and then without another word jumped off the ship and into the darkness below.

"What the heck was that?!" Cole shouted turning to the others.

"Conflict fuels him..." Lloyd said

"He was powering up..." Zane said thoughtfully

"He did that just to get his powers back?!" Jay shouted

"I DO NOT TRUST HIM!" Cole shouted louder with each and every word said.

"Lloyd, are you sure you want to go through with this?" Nya asked

"Lloyd..."Misty said softly

"Lloyd looked at her and took her hand his, then looked up to the other Ninja and said, "No... but I don't really have a choice." He then pulled Misty into a tight hug, despite the fact that Misty was attempting to escape the hug. He shoved Misty backward and shouted, "Now Cole!"

Misty shouted "What?!" As she stumbled back only to feel her back slam into a firm chest and strong arms wrap around her waist and arms trapping her. She had no choice but to watch Kai hand Lloyd a parachute and Lloyd jumped off the Bounty side.

"Lloyd!" Nya shouted and the ninja rushed to the side to watch their leader fall toward the darkness.

"Lloyd! You Can't Do This To Me!" Misty shouted as she struggled against Cole's grip. She knows Lloyd probably couldn't hear her. "I'm sorry Misty..." Cole said softly, his breath warm against her ear as he spoke. She struggled against his hold, finally eventually going limp in his arms. As expected Cole loosened his hold worried he had been holding her too tightly and had hurt her. That's when Misty said, "No, I'm the one that's sorry..." And she stomped down hard on Cole's toe and then elbowed him in the side. Cole's grip loosened even more on Misty and she just barely managed to break free from his grasp as she ran to the edge of the ship. He rushed after her and tried to grab her arm. But she began creating a crystal shield surrounding her body and then hurled herself off the edge of the Bounty.

She could hear Cole shouting her name as she plummeted downward.

Misty had a fear of heights but currently, she was way too angry and worried about Lloyd to let that stop her. And she continued to craft her shield finally managing to incase herself in a ball. The other ninja rushed to check the feed on the camera on Lloyd.

Lloyd landed in the darkness but after only taking a few steps he began choking and gasping Eventually falling to his knees, just after spotting his father, testing out his newly returned abilities nearby.

Off the screen, they could hear the sound of something crashing to the ground and the sound of something shattering. And then hurried footsteps running closer and Misty's voice shouting. "Oh, no you don't! I just got here and don't you dare think about trying to ditch me again! Do you hear me? Lloyd!" And they saw Misty's concerned face come into view of the camera. She seemed to be holding's Lloyd's face in her hands and glaring down at his face her eyebrows knitted together with concern.

Lloyd then seemed to regain his breathing and got back to his feet with Misty's help. "I... I'm okay..." Lloyd said as he approached his father.

"Hm! That was foolish, You both are fortunate to have survived." Garmadon said and walked off.

"Like you care." Lloyd said and glared after his father, he then turned to Misty and said, "You're not supposed to be down here!"

"Well I am, take me or leave me," Misty replied shrugging and hurrying up to catch up to Garmadon.

"I love how you say that like you're actually giving me a choice, even though we both know I don't have one..." Lloyd sighed afterward he hurried after Misty.

They were walking down a street that had a lantern hanging from it, some of them flickered on and off, their light illuminating the grim sight before them. People were frozen in place, with the exact looks of horror that had been on their faces the moment they were frozen. Some were frozen in place in mid-run with their arms outstretched others were on the ground, their arms outstretched mid-scream. As Misty saw this she stumbled backward slightly. Garmadon saw her reaction and the look of horror and sadness on her face and scoffed at her, and said. "You shouldn't have come, girl... if this alone is enough to stop you in your tracks..."

Misty glared at him and said, "It takes a lot to make me give up... Ninja never quit." And she continued forward.

Garmadon watched her and said coldly, "What Foolish thinking."
