The Ninja were watching Kai and Nya train... Nya seemed to be training with all she had, but Kai was merely punching a bag half heartily and ended up getting smacked by it when the younger version of Misty sent it flying back into his face, and he was knocked down.

"You must harness the fire within you," Wu said

"Yeah, yeah, yeah," Kai said dismissively and walked off.

"Oh, I'm worthless!" Present Kai groaned

"Pretty much..." Present Misty sighed

"It's like you don't even want to be a ninja," Jay said

"Look, I told you: The only reason I became a Ninja was to rescue my sister," Kai said

"If Kai doesn't learn to be a Ninja, our future will be destroyed," Zane said

"Ah. Even when Garmadon does something good, it's always evil! Sensei ain't cutting the mustard. Guess it's up to us to get things to backtrack" Cole said

"And that's why he's evil," Misty said

"I thought you said not to get involved. "change anything, change everything," Jay said

"That was before Garmadon altered the past and changed the future. Now we gotta clean up the mess." Cole said

"he's right, the only way to save our future is for Kai to find his fire," Zane said

"But--what's is ya tryin' to say, Zane?" Jay asked

"I'm saying. we have to give Kai his motivation back. We have to kidnap Nya and deliver her into the hands of the Skeleton." Zane said

"Ah. if that's what it takes, okay, but if it's all right with you guys, I've got an idea on how I could talk some sense into myself." Kai said

"I suppose only you yourself could do that," Misty muttered

In the cover of Night, Cole, Jay, Zane, and Misty snuck into Nya's room. They walked overtook where Nya slept and Misty saw Jay carefully place his hand on Nya's head looking sad. Misty felt bad as well what they were going to do next would be really hard for him, but they had to take Nya. She also realized her younger self would be upset to find Nya gone as well.

"Time to play our parts," Cole said

"We'll have to act quickly, while Kai is keeping himself busy," Zane said and he placed on a skeleton mask and so did Jay, Zane, and Cole.

Just before they threw the bag over Nya's her eyes shot open, but it was too late she was already in the sack before she knew it.

They had Nya in a sack and were back on the roof, Jay was carrying it over his shoulder.

"Unhand me Skeletons!" Nya shouted from the bag.

"Oh, I'm sorry Nya," Jay said guilt was in his voice.

"How'd you know my name! Oh when my brother finds out about this, you'll be sorry!" Nya shouted

"Actually he'll be quite relieved. "Cole said

"uh, guys, we've got company," Zane said and they saw four Ninjas all dressed in black.

"Ah, isn't that us?" Jay said

"Better lower our masks so they don't recognize us," Cole said

"Jay give me the sack, I'll hold on to it I don't want to fight the younger version of myself," Misty said

Jay nodded and handed the sack to Nya and whispered so Nya couldn't hear him "Be careful with her please,"

"Of course, you be careful with her too!" Misty said and nodded to her younger self was running toward them along with, Zane, Cole, and Jay.

Cole before going after himself grabbed the younger version of Misty stuck her inside a barrel that had been in the courtyard usually filled with weapons.

"Such an undignified thing to do..." Older Misty huffed

"Let's not hurt ourselves boys, I'd hate to leave a mark" Cole said

Just then Nya who was inside the sack screamed for her brother.

Soon the present Kai came outside to join them and he had a skeleton mask as well and shouted, "Guys let's go!" He deemed his voice so the others wouldn't recognize it.

the Ninjas then waited and watched the past events begin restored and Kai smiled and said, "Looks like the fire has returned." Misty handed the sack to Kai as they ran into the forest.

They traveled from Tree limb to tree limb, and they found a skeleton and dropped the bag right in front of him and then disappeared.

They traveled to the campsite they knew they'd be at and sat in a tree. "Ah. Why are we still here? I thought everything is back on track." Jay asked

"Yeah, but we have to stay and make sure all goes as planned, so what exactly happens next?" Wu asked

"Our former selves have most of the Golden Weapons. Shadow Garmadon now should have my sister, and in about one minute I get woken up and tricked into taking the Sword of Fire that will eventually unleash the greatest nemesis unto Ninjago.

They saw The past version of Kai run off after Nya and then followed by the younger version of Misty and they followed after her and entered the temple, a few moments later so did the younger version of Misty.

"Ah. This is when I steal the Fire Sword and cut my sister down, then I get attacked by my own shadow. " Kai said

and they watched as the events played out, but then the shadow version of Garmadon appeared but said something very different and the present version of Garmadon came out with four hands and a Mega weapon.

"You're supposed to be trapped in the underworld!" Kai shouted

"Oh, there's so much more you don't know," Garmadon said

The shadow version of Garmadon then urged his present self to destroy Kai, and he ran at the red Ninja and clashed weapons with him.

Misty meanwhile used Spinjitzu to get over to the side Kai was on and ran forward, toward him to help.

"We have to do something, I don't stand a chance against Garmadon's four arms!" Kai said

The sword was knocked from Kai's grasp but the present version of himself grabbed it and jumped in front of Kai and Nya.

Meanwhile, the younger version of Misty created a crystal shield in front of herself and Nya.

Even with both Kai and the assistance of Cole and Zane Garmadon still managed to beat them.

Zane explained to, Cole, Kai, and Misty that if they destroyed the Mega weapon now then non of the events that had taken place would ever happen.

But they would need a weapon of equal power to destroy the Mega Weapon.

Jay then showed up the golden weapons and threw them to the Ninja, they caught them, and then combined they managed to "recreate the Mega Weapon and it shot off into the sky.

The world around them crumbled, and soon the Ninjas found themselves back inside the training room.

"Did we just?" Jay asked,

"return to the future?" Kai said

"This feels familiar but weren't we training Lloyd?" Cole asked

"The Future was altered, and there is no Green Ninja," Zane said

"No... no... that can't be..." Misty said but she looked to the other Ninja and they had their heads lowered. Misty could feel Tears threaten to start falling from her eyes.

Just then Lloyd entered the room, and said, "Sorry I'm late guys. Are we ready to get training?"

"You still here!" Kai said and the Ninjas ran forward and hugged Lloyd, except for Misty who was quickly trying to hide the fact she had been starting to cry.

"Yeah? what wouldn't I be?" Lloyd asked

The ninjas separated, and Jay said, "So when we went back in time and destroyed Garmadon's Mega-Weapon, that didn't change anything?" Jay asked

"My father has mega-weapon?" Lloyd asked confused

"Oh wait a minute, you've never heard of it?" Kai asked

"Why? what is it should I be concerned?" Lloyd asked

The Ninjas started laughing and Lloyd said, "Hey, what are you guys laughing at?"

"I think some things are best left in the past, let's just prepare for the future," Kai said and the ninjas laughed

Lloyd then noticed Misty, and said, "are you okay Misty...you look like you were going to cry just before I came in?"

"I..I.." Misty started to say but instead of saying anything the next thing Lloyd felt was a pair of arms wrapping around his neck Misty hugged him tightly, her face buried in his robes but he heard her whisper softly, "Just know I don't want to lose you."

The other ninjas hadn't heard what Misty had said to Lloyd, but Jay was smirking at Lloyd.

Lloyd wrapped his arm around Misty and used the other to pat her on the head, but looked at Jay and glared at him not to say a word, despite the fact he could feel his face was turning red.

Jay just smiled back at Lloyd and winked at him.

Misty then seem to snap back to reality and she realized she was still hugging Lloyd, and quickly pulled away, "I... uh..I'm sorry" she said sounding really embarrassed. Lloyd let his arms drop from Misty and said, "No.. it's fine as long as you're okay now."

"I am thank you, I'll just...um be heading to my room for the night," Misty said awkwardly and took a step back and turned and hurried out of the room, nearly tripping on her way out.

"Be careful don't die on your way there!" Jay called after her jokingly

The ninjas couldn't make out what Misty shouted back but came to the conclusion that it was for the best, they couldn't hear it.

"So..." Jay said turning to Lloyd

"So what?!" Lloyd said avoiding eye contact.

"Are you changing your mind about what the whole, densities intertwined thing might mean?" Kai asked

"No...I.. uh.. still believe that Misty and Me will just remain friends," Lloyd said

"He's in denial..." Jay said turning to the others

"I am not!" Lloyd said

"Well time for bed," Cole said abruptly and then yawned.

"I thought you guys were going to train me?" Lloyd asked

"It's too late... now besides Misty's already gone to bed." Zane said and they headed to the door.

Lloyd followed them and muttered to himself, "Does this change anything? I don't know...but I have been thinking about Misty more lately... probably because I'm just worried about her...yeah that's it." and then sighed and muttered, "I hope that's it." But then he thought to himself it wouldn't be that bad if Misty and I became more than friends... right?"
