The next morning, Wu was sitting in a chair and Misako Lloyd's mother was standing next to him holding a teapot on a tray, Wu took drank one cup of tea in one go, and said, "Another cup please, Misako."

"Okay, but drink it slower this time. Healing tea doesn't work on a burnt tongue." she poured him another cup and Wu slurped it down, "Sip you are quite impatient!" Misako chided.

We chuckled and said, "The same could be said of them."

The Ninja were standing in front of Master Wu's chair, Lloyd had his arm around Misty supporting her she looked to be worn out and exhausted, and she had stayed up all night sitting beside Wu's bedside.

"Okay, Master Wu, you've had your tea. Now can we talk? Before one of us falls over!" Cole said he was standing on Lloyd's other side and glanced at Misty.

"Ask any question you wish," Wu said though he sounded tired

"Who did we fight in the mona--" Cole started to say but was cut off by Zane who said,

"That was Acronix" Zane said

"From the painting!" Kai jumped in

"Twins look alike," Lloyd added

"Or was it Krux?" Nya said

"Is he from the future?" Zane shouted

"How did he speed up time?" Kai said

"Was he from the past?" Cole asked

"Who ate my pudding cup?" Jay complained

That silence all of them and they all stared at Jay in disbelief

"What? He said to ask ANY question. I put my name on this just because, we're in a new dojo doesn't mean we disobey the refrigerator rules!" Jay shouted and he jumped up and down like a kid throwing a tantrum. he then realized everyone was staring at him and said, "Right. Sorry. the guy in Monastery what's his story?"

"Oh, to answer that, I must begin at the end. It was 40 years ago, shortly after the Serpentine Wars. When I was a much younger man..." Wu said He went on to explain the battle and the fighters that have helped them, two of them begin the Masters of Time. He then went on to explain that The Two Hands of Time went on a power high and tried to take over Ninjago and that it took all of the rest of the Masters to fight the Two Brothers of time... especially Kai and Nya's Mother and Father. Acronix could speed up time and slower it. and Krux could go back in time and completely stop it. Wu explained that they knew that the next time they fought the twins they would have to be prepared.

"You said the Hands of Time were unbeatable. Yet you beat them. How?" Lloyd asked

"The way on often defeats an enemy. By taking away their weapon." Wu explained

"but their weapon was time," Zane said

"Indeed," Wu answered

He then went on to explain that Kai and Nya's mother and Father hastily forged four blades from Chrono-steel and they were named The Time Blades, and after a heated battle they absorbed the Time's twin powers, and created a temporal rift and threw the four blades into it causing them to be lost in time. But the Two Hands of Time refused to admit defeat, and they threw themselves into the rift.

"So what happened to them?" Cole asked

"Krux disappeared into time itself, and I knew Acronix was going to return yesterday. So I waited. He was the remaining loose end to tie, now he is now more." Wu said

Misty noticed Wu was ready to get out of his chair and started toward him to help but Misako held out her hand in front of the girl and shook her head, and went forward instead and helped Wu down.

"You mean, like permanently?" Lloyd asked

"Never my intent but it was his fate, now Acronix is gone forever. Along with that Time Blade. It took four decades, but the Hands of Time will never again threaten Ninjago." Wu said Misako had helped him lay down and he closed his eyes to rest.

"One Question. How did you know Acronix was going to return, to the monastery at that exact moment?" Lloyd asked

"Why didn't you ask for help?" Jay asked

"How many Elemental Masters were there?" Zane added

"Will they make the Time Blades?" Cole asked

"Our parents you said they were there," Kai added

"Was the Original Master of Crystal fighting with you?" Misty asked all of the Ninja looked at her in surprise the girl hadn't spoken in a while, but Misty received no answer as Wu was already snoring softly

"No more questions for today. Your master fought a powerful enemy. He needs time to recuperate." Misako said and she ushered the Ninja out of the room.

Cole then turned and said, "Hey, I just realized... the mural we saw at the museum. That must be the battle Wu just told us about."

"But Dr. Saunders said the Hands of Time were a myth," Nya said

"History is art, not science. Even an expert such as Dr. Saunders, can be mistaken from time to time." Zane said

"Hah! True that. Know how I know? Cause Acronix was a so-called myth, and we totally busted him." Jay said and then cheered

"Yeah! haha ha. Except now there's nothing to do," Kai said

Lloyd looked around he still had an arm around Misty and said, "The Temple still needs unpacking."

Cole sighed and said, "Lloyd's right."

"Aw, kinda wish we hadn't busted him." Jay sighed and then as Nya walked past him he said, "Hey, Nya wanna hang out?"

"Why did you want to know about the Original Master of Crystal?" Lloyd asked he gently tipped Misty's head up so he could look her in the eyes.

"I just want to know about the person who these powers use to belong to... she obviously never had any descendants, I just want to know what she was like...." Misty said and then added, "I mean was she even anything like me?"

"I'm sure we'll find out something about her," Lloyd said reassuringly.

"I hope so... because maybe if I learn more about the person who originally had these powers... then maybe I might be able to gain more control over my powers." Misty said, and then looked down at her hands and said, "I just want to at least understand something about myself."

"And I'll be here to help you." Lloyd said, and then a mischievous look and he said, "I know something about you."

"What?" Misty asked

"Your a great kisser," Lloyd said and laughed as Misty's face turn scarlet.

"Lloyd!" Misty said her face bright red.

"What do you not believe me? If you don't we can test that statement." Lloyd said

Misty laughed and shook her head no but Lloyd moved his face closer to hers and they were inches apart when they heard a voice say, "Lloyd, Misty there's something you need to see."

They turned to see who it was and saw it was Zane he was holding a laptop, "What's going on?" Misty asked, "Come and look." Zane said

Misty and Lloyd exchanged worried looks but followed Zane back into the main room.
