The Ninja used Spinjitzu and took out the snake warriors fairly easily, and all cheered happily about their quick and practically painless victory.

"Okay that was a lot easier than I thought," Cole admitted

"Awesome work, everyone." Lloyd commended the group.

Meanwhile, Kai rushed toward Master Wu breathless pleading, "Now can you tell me what that marking means?"

"Yes. You must know that-" Wu began unfortunately the snakes had started regrouping toward larger pieces of armor laying on the ground.

"We have another concern," Wu said softly watching the snakes form.

"No, I do not like where this is headed," Jay whimpered

The snakes had combined into a huge giant, warrior. And the ninja rushed forward to attack it, but their attacks didn't seem to even faze the warrior, as it just swatted them aside.

Nya was knocked into her brother and Kai said, "Hey Nya, do you remember our old babysitter, Mrs. Grumiller?"

"The mean on with the mole on her..." Nya replied

"Yeah, Do you remember what we used to do when she made us go to bed early?" Kai asked

"Of course!" Nya replied slyly.

The Warrior had just knocked down the other ninja and started toward Lloyd, but stopped when it heard Nya's voice shout.

"Hey, you! It's not my bedtime!"

Nya ran and jumped off of Kai and flew over the snake and landed behind it forcing them it turn around and added," Cause I've still got plenty of energy."

Nya backed away to the very edge of the temple's ground, while Kai ran forward and bent down in front of the giant warrior.

"But it's lights out for you!" Nya shouted and with Kai's help knocked the warrior over causing him to fall off the edge and down toward the ground below.

"Oh, man! Whatever they paid Mrs. Grumiller wasn't nearly enough!" Jay shouted

"Definitely," Misty agreed as she helped Lloyd to his feet.

"We can use Destiny's Bounty to fly above all this and get a good view of the position of the other!" Nya shouted and pointed to their flying ship that was above the temple,"

But just as she said this the snakes started launching boulders at the Bounty, smashing its haul to pieces.

"Oh no!" Cole shouted as the Ninja watched helplessly.

"Or not..." Nya said

"What? No-no-no!" Jay shouted as they watched the Bounty get pelted over and over again by boulders until it sank to the ground below.

More pods crashed down onto and into the Temple, all filled with snakes that formed into warriors with swords and armor.

"We have to go on the offensive, They are bringing everything up here. It means, we have to go down there and take out their equipment," Lloyd shouted as the Ninja attempted to fight off the snakes and pods.

"Uh, but how?" Jay asked

"Like this!" Lloyd shouted and leaped off a boulder and formed his dragon, he hovered in the air waiting on the others.

"Lloyd, I really don't think going down there is a good idea," Kai warned

"Especially on a dragon, In the past, your fear has caused your dragon to vanish and--" Zane started to say but was cut off by Lloyd shouting back, "That was a long time ago, I am now a master,"

"In training," Jay interjected

But Lloyd continued on saying, "And our temple is under attack! I don't have time for fear. I'll take care of the ones down below, you guys hold them off up here, and protect the Time Blade." Lloyd shouted and flew off down below.

Jay let out a sigh of defeat and said, "You do have to admire his unfounded moxie,"

Jay then turned to Misty and said, "Go and help Lloyd out,"

"Of course, I wasn't going to let him go off on his own," Misty agreed

"What about your fear of heights?" Cole shouted

"I...it doesn't matter, If Lloyd can do this so can I," Misty replied stubbornly and shouted back to Cole, "Just focus on the ones up here,"

And she jumped off the temple and fell toward the ground below for a few terrifying seconds she couldn't get her dragon to form. But eventually, she was able to focus and her dragon formed it flickered for a moment but then became solid once more, and she topped down toward the catapults below. She blasted the pods that were flung up with black crystal. She helped Lloyd with the catapults too.

"What are you doing down here?!" Lloyd shouted at her

"Oh, you know going for a leisurely fly about the neighborhood..." Misty said sarcastically and then blasted another pod that was flying toward her. She and Lloyd were in the sky hovering after taking care of the catapults.

"You're not supposed to be down here I told you to stay up there!" Lloyd said

"Here there everywhere... It shouldn't matter where I am as long as I'm helping you," Misty snapped, and then she spotted something quite alarming.

"Yes, it does matter!" Lloyd snapped back but was cut off when Misty said, "Um.. Lloyd they can fly now..." and she pointed behind Lloyd.

Lloyd turned and saw snakes flying toward them both with swords.

"Stay calm, master in training, No time for fear," Lloyd murmured to himself. Just then he heard Misty's scream and saw one of the snakes had snuck up on her and had startled her and her dragon under her disappeared, and she plummeted to the ground below.

Lloyd tried to catch her but he was too far away, just then a familiar sight appeared the Samurai W suit, and it caught Misty just in time and flew back and placed her back in front of the other ninja, and Lloyd.

Misty still slightly dazed stumbled as the samurai set her down, Lloyd rushed over and pulled Misty closer to him.

"Thank you... you saved my life..." Misty said softly as she looked at the person in the suit.

"Hey, you! suit thief! You owe me an explanation. I have a right to know who you are! Tell me!" Nya demanded.

"I got this." Jay said and pushed his girlfriend behind him and shouted up at the suit, "WHO...ARE...YOU?"

"Huh. How did that not work?" Jay said confused.

"Well, samurai, whoever you are, thank you," Lloyd said as he continued to hold onto Misty tightly.

"Thank you? Samurai whoever-you-are stole my suit!" Nya shouted indigently.

"Yeah, and saved Misty life," Lloyd added softly

"I get that, and we are all incredibly grateful, Really it's just... ugh! You stole my stuff!" Nya shouted and screamed at the Samurai X who was flying off. But it was struck by a snake that had launched a huge spiked iron ball at it.

The Suit was struck and whoever was inside flew to the ground below.

"No!" They shouted but just then their attention was yanked away as they heard, Wu's weakened voice shout! "Ninja!"

Wu had been cornered by one of the snake warriors and it easily smacked the time blade from Wu's hand and then raised its weapon to finish Wu off. But before it could deliver the finishing blow it was frozen in its tracks.

"Look what I found!" Cole shouted and held up the Time blade. Zane forward and slashed the warrior with his shuriken.

Wu started to waver on his feet and Kai rushed forward and helped Wu stay standing.

"Thank you, Kai," Wu said weakly.

"Now please, master, tell me about that marking, what does it mean?" Kai asked

"Uh, yes, of course, your father--" Wu began but never finished as a voice shouted.

"Time is up!" And the Hands of Time appeared they were wearing the same wings as the warriors had used to get the drop on Misty and Lloyd while on their dragons. They landed on the Monastery's grounds and were armed with the other time blade.

"The Hands of Time!" Lloyd shouted

"Get them!" Cole shouted and rushed forward with the Time blade in hand, followed by the other ninja.

Krux and Acronix joined hands and Krux said, "All we need are a few moments, brother."

And just as the ninjas reached them they disappeared and reappeared in front of Kai and Wu.

They punched both of them and sent the two flying in opposite directions.

Arconix lifted the blade that he had above Master Wu and shouted, "Goodbye, Master Wu!"

"No!" Misty shouted

Cole realizing Misty wouldn't get there in time, shouted "Master Wu!" and then threw the blade that he had to their Master, Wu caught it and deflected the blow from Arconix.

"Lucky old man, but your luck is finally about to run out!" Wu then froze Arconix with the Time blade and batted the blade from his hands.

Kai rushed to his Master's side and help Wu stand.

Krux picked up the blade his brother had dropped and Misty rushed forward with a crystal sword. The two blades clashed together, and the two blades pressed against each other. Neither one is able to move not daring to give the other an opening.

Krux looked at the sword Misty was yielding and realizing it was crystal said "Ah, a Master of Crystal... strange... your kind should have been extinct, considering my brother killed the last Master of Crystal so so long time ago."

Misty hearing this lost focus and her arms went slack with shock giving Krux the opening he needed to send the ninja flying with a kick.

Misty rolled to the side barely dodging a strike from the Time blade.

"I am too weak to fight, Restraint with this weapon, but careful, Kai," Wu warned and handed the blade over to Kai.

Kai rushed forward and engaged Krux in combat, saving Misty.

Arconix now freed from his time bubble prison rushed to asset his brother with a sword but was stopped by Lloyd and Jay.

"Not so fast!" Lloyd shouted

"Well, look at this. A child pretending to be a big brave hero," Arconix taunted

"Underestimating my fighting skills is a mistake," Lloyd said

"Says the boy who let his girlfriend fall off her dragon," Arconix sneered and then attacked Lloyd who dodged. Lloyd dodged another sword slash and saw four more warriors appear. "Zane, Cole, Nya look out!" Lloyd warned. Zane made an ice path and the snakes slid off the edge.

As the others were still fighting, Misty was helping Kai again, and Cole leaped up into the air and smashed the ground causing both enemies and teammates alike to fall to the ground.

The Hands of Time recovered quicker and, knocked all of the ninjas down.

Lloyd jumped forward and Kai threw him the blue Time blade. And Lloyd and Krux's blades clashed causing a ripple that knocked everyone else around them to the ground.

"Easy, boy. Ninjago shall be ours!" Krux snarled

"No, I won't give up!" Lloyd shouted and flung Krux through the air and he landed on his brother, Cole recovered the other Time blade, and the ninja's cheered, and Cole handed it off to Lloyd.

"Sorry but it's gonna be pretty hard to control Ninjago, When you have absolutely none of the Time Blades," Lloyd said and turned to the other Ninja who was celebrating and cheering.

Misty was beside Wu, and heard him say, "Do not be blinded by pride ninja. Now is the time for the greatest vigilance."

Just then another snake with wings swooped down toward Lloyd.

"Ninja look out!" Wu shouted but it was too late and she snatched the blades from Lloyd and landed beside the Hands of Time.

"oh, no!" Jay shouted

"Oh, yes," The snake woman hissed and used a Time Bubble on the ninja, and said, "As I promised the Time Blades are yours to keep, indeed, and let's also take him!" Krux said and pointed to Wu, who was still standing beside Misty.

"Brilliantly executed, Machia," Acronix said

Misty readied her sword but Wu placed his hand on Misty's shoulder and said "Stand Down Misty... That's and order..."

"Master Wu... I..." Misty began to interject but Wu didn't let her finish and shoved her into the Time Bubble trapping her inside.

The snakes and Hands of Time left on an airship and took Wu with them Misako ran outside and threw a frying pan after them in anger, and said, "Stay strong Wu.."

The Bubble popped and Kai stood and said, "All that fighting just so we could end up losing everything, Master Wu, both the Time Blades."

"The Destiny's Bounty and our Temple," Cole added

"Everything... gone... just after one battle..." Misty whispered softly.

"They beat us. They won." Jay said

"Even Samurai X has been destroyed," Zane said

"They didn't win, we lost because we got over-confident. We've got to re-group. There are gonna pay." Lloyd said and kicked a helmet in frustration.

Kai picked it up and gazed at it, "The marking" he said softly, and then gasped and said, "This changes everything....."
