Jay's raft was floating further out to sea, Jay was struggling to break free of the ropes. Shouting and screaming for help, "Aah! Guys, I see something. I see something!" He shrieked

"Can you describe it?" Nya shouted

"Can you define "something"?" Zane added

"Does it have teeth?" Cole asked shouting. All of them were still struggling against the ropes.

"Ugh, these ropes are tough. I think I can burn through them!" Kai said as he continued to strain and struggle. Sparks burst from his fingers and crackled burning a bright red. He freed his hands only to immediately fall on his face into the sand. He reached up and quickly burnt the ropes holding his feet.

"Shh! They'll hear!" Nya hissed Kai quickly moved to Cole and untied him next.

"Let's hope this final sacrifice appeases Wojira, once and for all," Mammatus said triumphantly, and he turned around to find that the ninjas had freed themselves. Misty kicked the ropes aside once she had been freed, "Stop them!" he roared.

"Ninja, go!" The Ninjas shouted and rushed forward hoping to reach Jay in time.

"Hurry up, Dwayne!" Clutch snapped as his poor intern desperately tried to untie him

"I'm trying, Mr. Powers!" Dwayne cried and he managed to catch a Keeper spear flying his way and used it to cut the ropes.

"Faster next time, intern!" Clutch said as he stood up and dusted himself off from the sand. The ninja rushed to the dock. Kicking and getting rid of the Keepers that stood in their way. Misty kicked one of the Keepers into the water.

They rushed past Chief Mammatus and Nya leaped into the air and using her powers she sent a wave crashing into the remaining Keppers that were in their way. Sweeping them off the dock and into the water below.

"Zane, a little ice?" Lloyd shouted, Zane froze the water and they continued running out to sea.

"Somebody, help! There's definitely something out here! Something big and snaky and glowing!" Jay screamed. They had managed to catch up to Jay using Zane'spowers. But were still too far away to reach him.

"Jay!" Nya shouted

"Oh, thank goodness! It's so good to see you guys!" Jay cried relieved.

Kai tried to reach out to grab Jay's raft but they were still too far away. They saw an orange glowing light drawing closer through the fog. Just as Jay floated within reach a fireball landed between Jay and the ninja, separating them. It also shattered the ice that the ninjas were on.

"Over there! I see something!" Nay warned and through the fog, they saw a fuzzy outline of some sort of giant snake, She attacked it with water, but it did nothing, the beast didn't ever cry out in pain.

"What is it?" Kai said

"I don't know, but it's big! Get me out of here before it comes back!" Jay shrieked, and Zane created an iceberg for Lloyd to reach Jay. "Hurry!"

"Just stay still!" Lloyd said as he attempted to untie Jay.

"Look out!" Jay warned and another fireball struck and Lloyd fell into the water.

"Jay?" Lloyd shouted

"I'm okay. I think I can get loose, just need a few more... aah!" Jay said as he struggled to free himself. Just before he got the chance a giant claw reeled him in and he disappeared out of view and into the fog.

"Jay!" Lloyd shouted and he sent an energy ball at Wojira in a desperate attempt.

"No!" Nya cried and Cole gently but firmly placed his hand on her shoulder to comfort her but also to keep her from jumping into the water.

"Aah! It's got me! Aah! Help Me! Help me!" Jay screamed his cries for help echoed and soon disappeared.

"Jay!" Cole shouted

"Jay! Please say something anything!" Misty shouted hoping they'd hear his voice at least to know he was still alive but they heard nothing.

"Say something! Where are you?" Kai shouted they heard a soft growl in response but nothing after that, "It ate Jay! It really ate him!"

"Or... did it?" Lloyd muttered as he grabbed onto what looked like a wooden tooth floating in the water.

The ninjas struggled to reach the shore and once they arrived they were promptly surrounded by Keepers pointing their spears at them.

"You fools! You risk angering Wojira? If the beast returns, you will be the next sacrifices!" Mammatus shouted. They had captured both Wu and Misako whose hands were tied behind their backs.

"No, we won't, because Wojira doesn't exist," Lloyd shouted

"Blasphemy! You saw her!" Mammatus roared

"We saw something, but tell me: do sea monsters have wooden teeth?" and he threw the wooden tooth over to Mammatus.

"I don't understand," Mammatus muttered

"It's a con. You've been tricked into giving sacrifices to a fake monster," Lloyd explained

"But that's impossible,"

"Why don't you tell us how all of this started? From the beginning," Lloyd suggested

"For thousands of seasons, our people have been entrusted with the protection of the amulet. Entrusted by the First Spinjitzu Master himself to keep it from Wojira, for if the serpent ever obtained it again, the seas would rise up and swallow all the world. But Wojira slept, and all was peaceful. Until one day ...,"

~Flashback~

"Come quickly!" PoulErik shouted he was a Keeper with two heads one stacked on top of the other, and he took Mammatus to the docks. "It's her. Isn't it? It's Wojira! The sleeper has awoken! What should we do?"

"This doesn't seem right. Wojira should be asleep at the bottom of the sea," Mammatus said

"Someone must have awoken her!" PoulErik cried

"We should send her a sacrifice of gold and gems to appease her!" An unknown voice cried out from the crowd watching.

~End of Flashback~

"I did not know where the idea came from, but it was worth a try," and They sent out a raft full of treasures. "We thought we had appeased her, but only a week later, she was back. Soon our treasures were gone, so we gave fruits and coconuts, whatever was left. But we needed something to placate Wojira forever. We needed an ultimate sacrifice!"

"So you thought you'd sacrifice our friend?" Lloyd challenged the anger evident in his and the rest of the ninja's faces.

"We were commanded to defend the amulet at all costs! Not some costs, all!" Mammatus countered

"Sacrificing Jay cost you nothing, but it could cost Jay everything," Kai said and he pointed his finger at the chief rage sparked in his eyes and voice.

"You lost our friend. You're gonna help get him back," Nya shouted and she shoved Lloyd back to stand in front of him glaring at Mammatus.

"How?" Mammatus asked

"First, you're gonna draw me a map of the coastline, and show me any place near the water where someone could hide something really big," Lloyd said

The Keepers got to work drawing a map and narrowing down the places where something could be hidden and finally narrowed it down to a cave down the coast.

The ninja rushed to the cave and a d got prepared to fight. They reached the cavern which had an opened hole in the roof of the rock. And they saw Two henchmen lift Jay and carry him to the water about to throw him in. One growling, "Throw him out to sea! He's too much trouble!"

The ninjas grab onto vines and swing their way down inside and Lloyd calls out, "Yes! But he's our trouble!"

Cole kicked the two henchmen into the water and caught Jay in his arms, "Aww, good to see you, guys! How'd you find me?" Jay cried as he hugged Cole who was still holding him.

"Once we figured out this alleged sea monster wasn't real -" Lloyd said as he causally fought off an inmate with one hand.

"We had a little talk with the leader, who told us about a cave -" Cole said and placed Jay gently on his feet and easily swung his hammer knocking another into the water.

"Where some thugs just might be hiding a big monster!" Nya finished and she tripped another with the handle of her spear.

"Smart thinking, guys! But this is a pretty bizarre crime ring going on here. Any idea who's behind it?" Jay asked

"We figured that out too. Remember there was a breakout at Kryptarium Prison? All kinds of criminals back on the streets?" Lloyd said as he picked up a crate and simply used it to knock the inmate he was fighting off the ledge they were on.

"Yeah!" Jay said as he winced but then smiled back at Lloyd.

"Well, guess who still hasn't been caught, and who likes to use weird vehicles to get his way!" Lloyd said and he kicked another. It seemed pretty obvious that the inmates were way over their heads but that didn't seem to stop them from trying.

All of a sudden an unknown figure revealed himself to be Ronin.

"Ronin!" All of the ninjas shouted except for Lloyd who rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly and said, "I was actually gonna say the Mechanic, but Ronin fits too,"

"I thought you always worked alone, Ronin," Kai shouted as he caught a bat being swung at him and kicked the inmate that had attempted to strike him away and into another inmate.

"I usually do, but when the police hired me to track down all those escaped prisoners from Kryptarium, I realized I had an opportunity to put them to work, for me!" Ronin explained and he picked up a bowl of gold coins.

"Ugh, I guess that's not surprising considering everything else that you've done," Misty muttered as she shoved one of the inmates off a ledge and into the water.

"Too bad you went through all that trouble for nothing," Cole said

"Not for nothing! These islanders had been sitting on a small fortune of gems and gold bullion! But if they're starting to sacrifice people, I may have cleaned them out, so I'll cut my losses while I'm ahead. So long, ninja. Keep them busy, boys!" Ronin ordered and he tossed the bowl into a ship that had a wooden dragon head and tail.

"He's escaping!" Nya shouted as Ronin's ship drew closer to leaving the cave as the ninjas were rushed by more inmates.

Just then Twitchy Tim arrived on a catamaran and shouted, "Not on my watch! Come on, storm, give me all you've got!"

"Twitchy?" Lloyd said in disbelief.

"It's never too late to conquer your fears, especially to rescue a friend! Hold on guys!" Twitchy shouted as he sped the boat toward Ronin's.

"Whoa, hey! What are you doing? You're gonna sink us both!" Ronin warned

"That's the plan!" Twitchy cheered and just as his boat collided with Ronin's he leapt off the catamaran and into the water sinking both vehicles.

"Someone help Twitchy!" Lloyd shouted

"That was a very brave thing to do, Twitchy," Nya said smiling as she used the handle of her spear to help Twitchy out of the water.

Ronin tried to escape, but Kai tripped him. "Okay, okay. You got me," Ronin groaned

"You're gonna see the inside of a jail cell for this, Ronin," Kai said smirking and he and Cole fist-bumped smirking.

They took Ronin back to the village and he was locked in a cell with his henchmen.

"And I would have gotten away with it if it weren't for you ninja and your pesky friend," Ronin shouted

"Why, did I have a feeling he was gonna say that," Cole said rolling his eyes but smiling.

"Let me offer my sincerest apologies, my ninja allies," Mammatus said

"For what?" Cole asked

"Having our Stone Guardian attack you, locking you up, sacrificing your friend to a monster, that sort of stuff," Mammatus said sheepishly.

"Gee that is a lot," Misty muttered and winced as she was elbowed by Kai who shot her a look and said quickly, "Nah, forget it,"

"Yeah, happens to us all the time," Cole added

"Yeah, especially the getting locked up part," Misty muttered under her breath rubbing her rib. She dodged Kai's next elbow.

"I'm just happy they captured Ronin and his thugs, and found my mom and Master Wu alive and well," Lloyd said gently holding his mother's hand and smiling.

"And Clutch Powers," Zane added.

"Oh yeah," Lloyd muttered his tone sounded annoyed and slightly sarcastic.

"On behalf of the Keepers of the Storm Amulet of Wojira -" Mammatus started to say only to realize the amulet was missing. "What? Where - ?"

"Where's Clutch?" Nya asked turning to Dwayne. The poor overworked and underappearcited young man nervously points towards the jungle. "Ugh," Nya groaned thoroughly fed up with Clutch's antics.

Clutch had just reached the docks carrying a satchel bag but before he could board a boat he was zapped with a spear and standing behind him was a very annoyed-looking Nya. The amulet dropped out of the bag and onto the dock.

"I don't think that belongs to you," Nya said narrowing her eyes at Clutch who was on the ground twitching from being shocked.

"Oh, how the heck did that get in there?" he said attempting to feign ignorance

Later, Lloyd, and Misty were sitting on the docks staring out at the water. They had parted from the group and had been talking quietly between themselves for a while now. Finally, Misako and Wu walked over to check on the two of them. It seemed the conversation whatever it was had lulled and the two were sitting in silence staring out at the water.

"Are you okay?" Misako asked

Lloyd looked up and got to his feet. Misty noticeably avoided looking at him and stayed sitting staring at the water.

Lloyd spoke quickly and said, "I was just thinking, I know Ronin's monster was fake, but I guess I was wondering if Wojira is really still out there, somewhere,"

"If she is, may she sleep for another thousand years," Wu said solemnly.
