The ninja raced through the jungle. Misty held tight to the sail of the jungle chopper. As they whipped around corners and sped through the brush. She occasionally caught a glimpse of her surroundings but they were mostly a blur of vibrant colors.

They screeched to a halt and Loyd flipped open the chopper. Lowering his hood to get a better look at what he had seen.

"What's wrong?" Nya asked lowering her hood along with the others.

"I thought I saw something up there. An animal," Lloyd explained he narrowed his eyes and got to his feet in the chopper pointing at the top of a ledge high above them.

"We're in the jungle, Lloyd. I'm sure there's lots of animals," Jay pointed out Cole was standing on Jay's and Kai's chopper like Misty was with Lloyd's and Zane's. He shifted his feet and said, "Hey, did anyone bring a snack? I'm starving," He said holding his stomach.

"I did," Jay said

"Great!" Cole cried excitedly immediately lighting up.

"But it fell in the ocean," Jay sighed

"Oh, thanks for getting my hopes up," Cole flopped down to sit on the chopper his arms crossed in front of his chest pouting.

Misty couldn't help but giggle at the sight. She quickly covered her mouth with her hand as she saw Lloyd raising an eyebrow at her. He then turned to Twitchy who was with Nya and said, "What kind of animals are there on this island, Twitchy?"

"Uh, poisonous pythons, poisonous jaguars, poisonous frogs, poisonous eels, poisonous piranhas, poisonous birds!" Twitchy shrieked out causing a few gulls to fly out of the trees squawking.

"Poisonous birds?" Nya said in disbelief

"Pretty much everything on this island is poisonous! Especially those berries," Twitchy said as He pointed at Cole, who was eating some berries. He had found growing within reaching distance from the chopper. They were white and grew on a branch. Cole dropped the berries and immediately started spitting them out in a panic.

"Whatever is on this island, it won't stop us from finding my mom and Master Wu," Lloyd said as he sat back down in the chopper and tightened his hands on the handlebars.

"And Clutch Powers," Nya added gently

"Huh?" Lloyd said and then let out an awkward chuckle, putting his hand on the back of his head he added, "Oh yeah, right. And Clutch,"

"I don't know I feel like Clutch would be fine, he's an expert explorer after all," Misty said sarcastically with a smirk. Lloyd let out a chuckle as he started the chopper and drove off. The ninja rode for some distance, only to have to stop again as they reached a point in the road up ahead, that was packed with plants, "Let's leave the Jungle Choppers here. There's no way we're gonna drive through that," Lloyd said as they approached the densely packed entrance on foot.

He heard a loud growl and chuckled, "Ha, you weren't kidding. You really are hungry. I can hear your stomach growling from here," He said turning to Cole

"Uh, that wasn't my stomach," Cole replied

"Well, if it wasn't your stomach, then who's -" Kai started to say but stopped as they all heard even louder growling. This caused Twitchy Tim to curl into a ball on the ground.

"What are you doing?" Lloyd asked as he walked over and placed his hand on Twitchy's shoulder a confused look on his face.

"Assuming survival position!" Twitchy screamed The leaves around the top of the cliffs above the ninja rustle and they all watched cautiously then a coconut dropped in front of Nya, followed by a dragon, who pinned her to the ground.

"Dragon!" She screamed her weapon was inches from her hand but out of reach from her being pinned. The dragon's face was inches from hers.

The rest of the ninjas drew their weapons and got ready to attack Kai shouting, "Ninja, -" but stopped when his sister screamed, "No,!" The dragon then licked her face like a dog and she shouted, "Wait! Look at him. I don't think he's dangerous," As the dragon sat down and his tail was wagging his tongue stuck out of the corner of his mouth as he panted happily.

The dragon nudged the coconut with its snout and then tossed it coconut at Cole. Who dodged it but then he saw it he said hopefully, "Is that a coconut?" He ran after it but the dragon used its tail to swipe it away. Causing Cole to groan saying, "Aww," disappointedly. The Dragon rolled it on its snout and then pushed it to Nya with its foot.

"I think he wants to play!" She picked up the coconut and then threw it into the jungle back from where the Dragon had come, "Fetch" she said cheerfully as the dragon tore off after the the coconut.

"He appears quite docile." Zane marveled at the creature with a smile watching it bound away.

"Yeah, look, it might be friendly and all, but -" Lloyd said and was cut off as the dragon appeared behind him nudging his back with its snout shoving him a few feet forward.

"Oh, you're adorable!" Misty said and she gently hugged the Dragon's snout.

"Zippy! Oh, let's call him Zippy!" Jay cried excitedly

"Okay. Zippy might be friendly and all, but we don't have time to be playing fetch with dragons." Lloyd said as he gently pulled Misty away from the dragon placing himself between her and it just in case he picked up the coconut he added, "We're trying to find my mom and Master Wu," The dragon licked his back soaking the back of his robes.

"Are you sure? He's so cute!" Nya said speaking in a baby voice, as she gently rubbed the Dragon's snout causing him to flip over on his back like a puppy. Lloyd gave her a disapproving look and crossed his arms in front of his chest, "Okay, fine," Nya said and she gently scratched the dragon's snout and said, "Zippy, look. You're a real good boy, but we're on an important mission, and you might be a little huge and loud for us, okay?" She picked up the coconut and shouted, "Super fetch!" and propelled the coconut deep into the jungle with water, using her elemental powers as a boost, and Zippy bounded after it.

"Survival mode successful again!" Twitchy cried happily as he jumped to his feet.

"Let's go, quick!" Lloyd ordered and they ran deeper into the jungle. While slicing through vines, a coconut landed on Kai's sword. He walked over to Cole who was hitting a tree trying to get one to fall down.

"Ahem," Kai said and he held out the sword with the coconut on it to Cole.

"Yes! Finally!" Cole cried and took it off of Kai's sword lifting it to his open mouth only to stop when he caught a glimpse of Kai's raised eyebrows, "What?

"Is it possible for you to think about anything except food?" Kai said under his mask he was definitely smirking.

"Yes. I'm thirsty too," Cole said matter-of-factly and lifted it back to his lips, only for Zippy to take the coconut away using his long tongue, and he bounded away, "Give me back my drink, thief! Hey!" He kept the coconut just out of Cole's reach, forcing the ninja to dive for it only to fail. "Aah!" Zippy jumped into the clearing with the other ninja and dropped the coconut. Only as Cole rushed over he licked him, "Ew! You can keep it," Cole said

"This is most strange," Zane said thoughtfully

"What's wrong?" Cole said as he walked up to stand beside Zane.

"The trail appears to stop here. I see evidence of a struggle," Zane explained.

"What kind of struggle?" Lloyd asked Zane walked forward leading the ground and pulled aside some leaves and plants only to unveil a totem made of what looked like stone. All of them gasped Zippy whimpered and rushed away clearly frightened.

"Survival mode!" Twitchy screamed and curled into the fetal position.

"Will you guys relax?" Nya said as she walked up to the totem and she tapped it with a stick. saying, "It's just a statue! See?" The Golem bites her stick snapping it in half. She screamed and backed away back to the others. The statue pulled out swords and leaped toward Lloyd and Nya who jumped backward just in time from being squished.

More growling was heard and two more of the same statues jumped out they surrounded the ninjas as they got ready raising their masks and pulling out their weapons, "Uh, the statue has brothers!" Ka shouted

"Ninja, go!" Lloyd shouted and he attempted to use spinjitzu only to be sent flying backward. He recovered and launched himself at the statue again the others followed suit. Cole leaped into the air with his hammer but was slammed into and sent backward. Landing on his feet Cole jumped into the air bringing his hammer down he used his elemental powers to send a quake toward the Golem he was fighting, but it absorbed it and sent it back at him.

Kai caught him before he fell, "What?" Cole muttered and Kai with a grunt sent a fire blast at the Golem. Only for it to eat the fire and send it flying back at Kai and Cole forcing them to scatter. "It just ate my fire blast and spat it back!" Kai shouted.

Zane recovered from a tumble after dodging an attack, managing to land on his feet warned, "They appear to be channeling our elemental energy!"

Jay was fighting a guardian that was spinning around and around with its swords. Jay charged up his lightning. "Jay, do not use your -" Zane shouted but it was too late, and Jay screamed as he ran from a Guardian's lightning blasts.

The guardian started spinning toward Zane, who barely managed to escape being sliced or having the tree the guardian had cut fall on him."Escape maneuvers!" Twitch shrieked as he crawled away from the action.

The guardians Lloyd, Nya, and Misty were fighting. Threw Lloyd aside and then slammed Misty into him. Who he somehow managed to catch. And then tossed Nya on top of them both. The Golems then stacked up and channeled the lightning from the sky, only to blast it at the ninja.

"I don't think lightning's only your thing anymore!" Kai said turning to Jay "Yeah! I know!" He shouted back glaring at Kai.

"Look out!" Lloyd shouted and they took off running. Lloyd and Misty were the ones in the back. And their way was blocked by the statues. Having no other choice they ran in the other direction getting separated from the others. While still being chased and having lightning shot at them.

"Oh no, Where's Lloyd and Misty?" Nya shouted as she looked behind her at the others.

"And the other guy. Oh what'd he say, Nutty Ned?" Jay said gasping for breath.

"Twitchy Tim!" Nya shouted and screamed as she nearly fell off a cliff. Jay slammed into Nya knocking her over the cliff but managed to reach out and catch her in time. "Nya!" He cried yanking her back to safety.

"They're still coming. What now?" Kai shouted as the others had caught up.

"Look. There!" Nya shouted and she pointed at a rope bridge it looked rotted and seemed to be decaying from age.

"Are you kidding? A rope bridge? Rope bridges always break, and we'll be barely holding on, dangling over certain doom!" Jay cried

"Admittedly, that does happen to us more frequently than standard statistical models would suggest. Still, I evaluate it to be a risk worth taking," Zane said as he ran across the bridge having to leap across as some boards had already started breaking.

"Oh, I'm gonna regret this!" Jay groaned

"Keep moving, Jay!" Nya shouted

"It's gonna fall, it's gonna fall, it's gonna fall, it's gonna fall!" Jay whimpered as he walked across with his eyes closed tight.

"Maybe open your eyes now," Cole said smirking as Jay made it across.

"Haha! No way! We actually made it all the way across a rope bridge without it breaking! Haha! I guess everything's gonna be -" Jay said only to see the bridge break "See? I told you!" Jay shouted pointing to the broken bridge and glaring at Zane, all of a sudden they heard a different noise, "What was that noise?"

"It sounded like some form of electric - " Zane didn't finish his sentence as he had disappeared when Jay turned back around.

"Zane? Zane? Nya? Kai? Cole?" Jay cried and he was electrocuted as well.

In the jungle, Lloyd and Misty were still running from the Golems. They run through the brush only to almost fall off a cliff. But managed to catch themselves, Lloyd pulled Misty up from the and into a cave. Both of them hold their breath as they hear the Golems leave.

They breathe a sigh of relief, and Misty leans against the cave wall their both still out of breath and are breathing heavily. Lloyd rubbed the back of his neck, and said, "Huh, well, running away isn't usually our style, but I guess it was our only choice," He gently brushed the hair that had fallen in Misty's face away out of habit.

"Really? Because running away is almost always my first choice." Lloyd and Misty both screamed only to let out a sigh of relief realizing it was just Twitchy Tim.

Misty awkwardly coughed and leaned back against the wall away from Lloyd who she had basically tackled out of fear. Lloyd ran his fingers through his hair leaning away from Misty as well both avoiding eye contact.

~Cole, Nya, Kai, Zane, and Jay,~

Nya woke up tied to a catamaran the same kind of ship the ninja had used to get to the island.

"Huh?" Nya said blearily her body hurt and was still sore. She then heard a familiar voice shout, "Hey, untie me!"

"Kai? Are you okay?" She shouted

"Nya! Yeah, yeah, I'm okay. Where are they taking us? Can you see anything?" Kai shouted

"I have no idea. I can't see a thing," Nya's voice trailed off as the mist parted and she saw a dock lit with torches come into view.

The ninjas were untied and marched off the boat, one of the guards zapped Jay who shouted, "Hey! Watch it with that! Ow! Okay, I'm going, I'm going!" They were walked onto a platform that moved on a rope. They were led in front of a creature with glowing purple skin wearing golden armor that had light green gems decorating it.

"What do you want? Why did you attack us?" Nya shouted

"Silence! I know why you are here. Like those who came before you, you seek to steal the amulet," the man roared

"We're not here to steal anything. We're here to rescue our friends," Kai insisted

"You do not deceive me. Others have come before you. Others have tried, and failed, for we uphold our vow. We are the Keepers of the Amulet!" The ruler said.

"What amulet?" Jay asked The man then used his staff and opened the wall revealing an amulet. It had a golden dragon head on it and was a vibrant purple not unlike some of the crystals the others had seen Misty make occasionally.

"I'm guessing that one," Cole muttered

"It is the Storm Amulet, pried from the head of the sleeper in the deep, she who existed long before time had a name. Wojira!" He explained

"Wojira!" The others chanted after him lifting their spears into the air.

"We took a sacred oath to keep the Storm Amulet safe from those who would seize it. We harnessed the power of lightning and became one with the storm. Our forefathers kept the oath, and their forefathers, all the way back to the beginning," He explained

"I can assure you, we have no intention of purloining your artifact," Zane said calmly.

"You have seen it. You know too much," Mammatus said

"But then why did you show it to us?" Jay cried

"There is only one way to ensure it remains safe now,"

"Why do I feel like I'm not gonna like this?" Cole said nervously.

"You will be our prisoners, forever!" Mammatus ordered

"Wojira!" The Keepers echoed shouting.

"Yeah, I don't like it," Cole muttered
