The sea around Nya and Maya was lit green due to sulfur vents that were clouding the water.

Maya and Nya were trying to escape in the APS suits, pursued by Ripper Sharks. "Move it, Mom!" Nya cried out.

"I'm going as fast as I can!" Maya replied

"Well, they're going faster! I hope they're not hungry!"

"These suits are metal. Don't they know metal tastes terrible?" Maya scoffed.

"I don't think they care, Mom!" Nya shouted back, A sulfur blast caused Maya to veer off course, and slam into one of the vents temporarily stopping her, but Nya pulled her back. "I've got you, Mom,"

"Nya!" Maya shouted and then pulled Nya out of the way just in time as another blast burst free, "Move it or lose it!" She warned. The two continued to push their suits to go as fast as possible the sharks on their heels.

"They're too fast! We can't outswim them! This is their element!" Nya warned

"Water is your element too, dear. This far undersea, your powers are stronger than anywhere else,"

"Whoa!" Nya cried as the sharks zipped around and slammed into the two women mechs spinning them around.

"I know you can do this," Maya reassured her daughter, Nya used her water powers on one of the sharks blasting it into a rock formation, Another swam toward her it had red glowing eyes and red glowing gills, with a large fin on its head that looked like a blade. She sent another water blast it's way sending it flying, "See? It's working! Don't forget about the third one!"

"What third—" Nyas asked and a shark caught her off guard, slammed her onto some boulders." She managed to recover and shouted, "I can take him!" but the mech's controls started sparking and stopped responding, "Oh, no no no no no, don't shut down on me now!"

Just as the shark sped toward Nya baring down on her, its hungry jaws barely inches away from the mech. A harpoon blast slammed into it causing it to flail backward.

"Back off, fish sticks!" Jay shouted as he and Lloyd swam in front of Nya and Maya blasting harpoons at the sharks driving them away.

"Jay!" Nya cried relieved.

"Impeccable timing, boys!" Maya cheered alongside Nya. Lloyd and Jay helped escort Nya and Mya back to the Hydro Bounty.

As soon as Nya was back on board, she tackled Nya in a hug. Nya chuckled and rubbed her back comfortingly.

Meanwhile, Maya was a little less calm she cried, "Thank goodness you all came along. I thought we were done for,"

"You said you knew I could save us!" Nya shouted, clearly angered by her mother's words and the fact that lied about how much confidence she had in her abilities.

"Well, I didn't want to be a Gloomy Gus, heh ..." Maya responded and let out a nervous laugh as Nya continued to glare at her. Just as she opened her mouth to retort the alarm went off and bathed the room in a red glow.

"That's the proximity alarm. I'm afraid we have unannounced visitors," Pixal announced and the screen showed on the radar several blinking red dots closing in faster and faster around the Hydro Bounty.

A serpentine figure arrived on the back of what looked like a giant, sting ray and shouted, "Trespassers, you have illegally entered the domain of King Trimaar, ruler of the Endless Sea and monarch of Merlopia. Come peacefully, or you will be fired upon,"

"The Hydro Bounty is not in any condition to sustain further damage," Zane reported his tone was concerned and Pixal added more bad news, "And we are unlikely to be able to outrun those creatures,"

"Looks like we don't have a choice then," Lloyd said grimly.

They were escorted toward a large building underwater. It was a breathtaking sight for sure. It looked to be in the shape of a large clam shell. With golden spirals for designs and beautiful windows as well. Truthfully the sight alone was the only thing helping to stop Misty from completely panicking. The ninjas were escorted into the throne room, all of them but Pixal had an oxygen tank strapped to their backs.

The through was large and in the shape of a white shell with a golden crown. The figure sitting on it was stately looking with purple skin and tentacles. Dressed in a golden crown and pieces of armor wielding a trident.

"You have trespassed into my kingdom and risked the peace. Do you have anything to say before I pass judgment?" The figure demanded.

"Well, to be perfectly honest, we didn't know there was an undersea kingdom," Lloyd admitted as he stepped forward for the group.

"And we wouldn't have trespassed if it weren't for us being shot down by your son—" Nya added stepping forward as well

"What? Is this true?" Trimaar asked he looked genuinely stunned

"Yeah. And not only that, which is enough, really, right? But he also took me and my mother captive!" Nya shouted as Maya also walked forward to stand beside her daughter.

"Captive?"

"Oh, it gets worse!"

"Yeah, tell him about the giant snake," Maya added

"Yeah, yeah. A giant sleeping snake, that your son, Calamari, is trying to wake up," Nya shouted Misty was standing toward the back of the group. But she didn't have to be looking at Nya's face to tell there was dragon fire burning in her eyes.

"What sleeping snake?"

"Wojira,"

Trimaar Gasped, and ordered toward the guards, "Bring the Prince and his Mer-servant to me. At once! If these accusations are true, you have my deepest apologies. My son Kalmaar will be disciplined, I assure you. For too long, I have looked the other way and—"

"Whatever these surface-dwellers have told you is a lie, Father!" Kalmaar shouted as he entered the room.

"You deny sinking their vessel?" Trimaar asked raising an eyebrow.

"Oh, that. No, that part is true, I admit it. I've sunken many of their ships. Something you should have been doing, Father, if you took your duties as king more seriously."

"We live in peace with the surface. We do not bother them, and they do not bother us,"

"This world was once ours. Then they came and despoiled the Endless Sea with their lands and their foul presence. But with the power of Wojira, I can correct this wrong!"

The two had started arguing both shouting at each other.

"Uh, should we leave?" Maya asked

"Yeah, this is awkward," Nya added

"Yeah, I'm not interested in being in the middle of any more powerful family disputes," Misty muttered

"I will do what you should have done long ago. I will return us to our proper glory!"

"I will not accept this brazen defiance! You have no power here, Kalmaar. I am your father and your king!" Trimaar shouted and slammed his trident to the ground the weapon sparked and glowed as he stood from his throne. Enraged by his son's brash words and actions.

"I can't do anything about the first thing, but as to the second ..." He blasted Trimaar, the king toppled over his crown clattered to the ground. The guards, at the door rushed forward but, he blasted them as well and threw the trident in front of the ninja, and started calling for help. "Help! Help! The surface-dwellers have attacked the King! Help!" Seconds later guards arrived and started blasting the ninja with attacks, "Stop them!"Kalmaar ordered.

"Run!" Lloyd ordered

"Go! Don't let them escape!" Gripe shouted

"Did you see that? I can't believe he did that! Someone needs to teach that boy a serious lesson," Maya cried indignantly

"I think he needs a little more than a scolding, Mom!" Nya shouted

"Running from a kingdom's guards... gee this is like the third time this month..." Misty muttered as she started counting on her fingers thoughtfully.

Lloyd reached back and grabbed her wrist yanking her forward, "Count later run now!" he shouted.

Jay zapped two Merlopians, then ducked to avoid their attacks. Nya turned to Zane and said "Ready for the old one-two?"

"Affirmative," together He and Nya used their elements and formed a giant ice barrier together. They had managed to buy themselves some spare time.

"This castle is like a maze! Which way is out?" Nya cried as they kept running. The hallways looked all the same. The same crystal-like blue pillars and the same golden designs decorated the walls.

"I can't believe we just witnessed a palace coup!" Lloyd cried out he still had Misty's hand clutched tightly in his own.

"I can't believe we got blamed for it!" Jay added indignantly as he sputtered out the comment.

"What's that sound? Do you hear that?" Maya asked

"Sounds like somebody left the tub on," Jay commented

"The amplitudes are inconsistent with the magnitude of a bathtub. I believe it might be—oh no!" Zane muttered his statement trailing off as he saw water flooding the corridors. It came crashing around the corner speeding toward the group.

"Put your masks on! Fast!" Nya shouted

They clicked on their masks but the pressure of the water slammed into them. Misty felt Lloyd wrap his arms around her, just before the water crashed into them both. He tried shielding her the best her could as the team was slammed into the door by the force of the water.

"Everyone okay?" Lloyd asked

"Yeah, I'm okay," Maya said

"Affirmative," Zane agreed

"It appears they did not think we would have rebreathers. Zane? You don't require a breathing device," Pixal said

"Yes, but I like how it completes my attire," Zane stated matter of factly.

Jay started gloating, "Ha! Well, they're gonna have to do better than that if they—" He stopped as he turned to see Ripper Sharks heading toward them, "Ah, phooey,"

"Stay real still. Maybe they won't notice us," Lloyd suggested. Jay screamed as the sharks charged at them.

"Zane! Freeze it!" Nya cried

"Aha! Try to get past that!" Jay taunted in a singing voice "You can't get me, you can't get me —" He teased by the sharks slammed into the ice, determined to crack it," Causing him to let out a shriek of fear.

"Jay!" Nya scolded

"Oh, sorry!" Jay said sheepishly.

"I need some help over here! This door won't open!" Lloyd shouted, Misty and he were tugging at the door desperately trying to open it.
