~Misty and Cole~

Finally, Cole broke the silence and said, "Misty... I think it's time to tell Lloyd about everything..."

Misty hesitated and said, "Cole... I'm not sure that's a good idea, he's not going to react well at all. Plus we don't need another issue like what happened between you, Jay, and Nya that was horrible."

"I know but we can't keep this under the rug Lloyd is bound to find out about your past relationship eventually, and it's better he heard it from us than someone else on the team." Cole reasoned

"How do you expect me to tell my boyfriend that. "Oh yeah guess what Lloyd when I was split into two different people and we were apart and kind of broken up I dated one of your friends in the other realm and had a relationship with him on top of that a part of me still loves him! We both still have feelings for one another, but there's no need to worry about it, we've both just decided to honor my previous relationship and remain friends, even if those feelings are still there and just beneath the surface! Do you count that as cheating?" Misty said with a scowl and she glared at Cole.

Cole sighed and said," Well when you put it that way. I can't imagine it going over well,"

'How do you want me to put it?!" Misty asked incredulously

"Tell him in the heat of the moment you and me got together and we didn't expect it to go as far as it did. We didn't expect to end up in a relationship..." Cole said softly and he looked at the ground.

"What?" Misty said her voice was quiet and she said, "Wait so you didn't actually like me? It was just the heat of the moment that you decide to confess to me?"

"No, Misty I genuinely really liked you, I've liked you for a long time I just never got to tell you," Cole admitted and he looked at the ground and said, "But yes me confessing to you was in the heat of the moment, I didn't mean for it to go so far, and I definitely didn't mean to create a void between you and Lloyd and the rest of the team."

Misty looked at the ground and said, "So you'd take it back if you could?"

Cole hesitated and he looked at Misty's face and said, "Agreeing to get into a relationship yes, it should have never happened I'm sorry Misty."

"So are you saying I was wrong to love you?" Misty muttered

"No," Cole replied he then took a deep breath and said, "I enjoyed being in a relationship with you even if it was for a short amount of time,"

Misty smiled sadly and nodded her head she looked at the ground and said, "Same here,"

Cole and Misty were leaning against the wall on the bridge, Cole gently reached up and gently placed his hand on the side of Misty's face he ran his finger over the band-aid he placed on her face, and said softly, "I'm sorry you got hurt."

Misty leaned her cheek into Cole's hand and sighed but she realized what she was doing and she reached up to pull Cole's hand away but before she was about to do that, a voice said, "Misty you okay I heard you got injured and- Oh I'm sorry am I interrupting something?"

Misty turned and saw Lloyd was standing at the entrance of the bridge, he was holding a first aid kit of his own.

"Oh, don't worry it was just a minor cut, Cole helped patch me up since he was the one sparing with me," Misty said quickly and get placed distance between Cole and her.

Lloyd nodded and said, "I'm glad you're okay, thanks for making sure Misty was okay,"

"Of course no problem," Cole said quietly

Lloyd walked over and placed his hand on Misty's shoulder and he gazed at the band-aid on her cheek he ran his fingertips over it and said, "I'm guessing your crystal shattered and you got cut,"

"Yes, but I'm okay, it's kind of something I've gotten used to," Misty said with a smile.

Lloyd nodded and he said, "We're approaching our destination, I wanted to let you guys know to get ready and be prepared, we have no idea what we're expecting. I'm gathering the others for the last meeting before we get ready to disembark."

Misty and Cole nodded, and Lloyd walked off to gather the rest of the group.

Misty watched him go, and Cole looked at her and said, "I agree we should tell him, but not right now, Lloyd needs to be able and focus we can't tell him now,"

Cole nodded and said, "I agree, we don't need Lloyd's focus divided before we go into an area we don't even know what to expect."
