CHAPTER 68
CHAPTER 68
AFTER MAKING LOVE for the whole night, anyone would be tried, but not Sollel and Hakkeran. They were both powerful beings that even after making love again and again and again the whole night, they still had strength and energy left to talk while waiting for the sun to rise.
They actually didn't stop because they wanted to, but because the enchantment in the room was close to being destroyed. Another hour of burning flames inside and it'll really burn the whole castle.
"We got time now," said Sollel while lying on top of Hakkeran, the side of her head was resting on his chest, her hair had now turned to normal and Hakkeran was playing with it while her fingers were playing with his adorable nipple. Both were naked. "Explain everything to me, Hakkeran. I want to know everything you did for me."
"I honestly don't want to, my lady." Hakkeran answered as he combed Sollel's hair. "I feel like I'm counting what I did for you and it makes me uncomfortable."
Sollel raised her head and rested her chin on Hakkeran chest as she looked at him. "You're no fun sometimes, Hakken. Do you know that?"
Hakkeran always hear that from Treven so he nodded.
Sollel flicked Hakkeran's nipple. "Just tell me. I want to know every single detail, okay?"
Knowing that his queen will not stop, Hakkeran finally gave in. "Well... I already told you half of it, so I'll try to keep it simple and short." He paused for a second then continued. "After I learned that you are still alive and imprisoned, I went... crazy. A little."
Sollel frowned. "Crazy, how?"
"I hated what humans did to you, how they betrayed you and every time I see one, I would slaughter them without mercy. That's how much I hated them for taking you away to deity knows where. I couldn't stand being in the same place with them that I chose to live underground with Gabin. But I know I can't stay like that, I know I have to look for you and free you if you were imprisoned — I have to control my hatred for them, but I didn't know how. They took my beloved away and every time I'm near them... I just, I don't know, I always lose my wits."
Sollel's chest throbbed hearing Hakkeran's story. She already liked Hakkeran... she's enamored with him, but now, she appreciated him more and she's falling deeper.
Sollel sighed at what she was feeling and just bit Hakkeran's nipple.
"Sollel!"
Sollel chuckled and looked at Hakkeran. "You should really stop calling me 'my lady' and just call me Sollel. I like it more."
"That'll be very difficult on my part, my lady."
Sollel rolled her eyes. "Go on. Continue your story."
Hakkeran smiled at his sulking queen before continuing while caressing Sollel's hair. "I felt useless at first. Like there's nothing I could do. I blamed my father for chaining me and caging me when he found out that my heart chose you, because of that, I wasn't able to help when humans were hurting you and I hated myself for that."
"It wasn't your fault, Hakken." Sollel couldn't help interjecting because she didn't like hearing Hakkeran blaming himself for her mistakes.
"Even so, I feel like as someone who loves you, I should have been there. I, um, I felt like I'm not worthy enough for you. And I don't want to be unworthy of you. So, I pulled myself together and I made a plan with Gabin. A plan that could let me walk amongst humans without wanting to slaughter them because I know that to find your prison and free you, I have to play nice with humans. I have to enter their society and infiltrate them.
"Before I die, I already planned everything I will do in my next life, to avoid mistakes that could jeopardize my mission to find you and free you. And so, after my death and rebirth, when I reach adulthood, I used my arcane weapon's ability, but not only to split myself in half, but also to control my attitude. Gabin was so against it," Hakkeran smiled at the memory of his trusted aide throwing a fit because it was dangerous. "It was dangerous because it was the first time for me to split myself and control the attitude and emotions the half of me would feel. I put all my good emotions on Hakken so he could roam Azitera in my stead without causing bloodshed, while I put all my hatred in humans and negative attitude on Hakkeran and he was the one who stayed underground."
"What...?" That surprised Sollel. "Hakkeran was underground?" Sollel knew that the two were the same person, but hearing that Hakkeran was not as free as Hakken, it made her chest ache. She adored both Hakken and Hakkeran. "But why? I thought he had been with the humans."
Hakkeran shook his head. "That happened after my next rebirth. His hatred was too strong that he had to stay underground while Hakken worked outside. Talking to every race, looking and gathering of information about the queens— looking for you. Hakken was the one who gathered all the information I needed to make our plan work, while Gabin took care of Hakkeran underground. I spent a whole lifetime gathering information as Hakken, from the Yther's siege to the present. From figuring out who's the ally and who's the foe. I didn't let a single information escaped me. I'd like to believe that it was a very productive lifetime."
"And then you died again..." It really didn't sit well with Sollel that Hakkeran kept dying. Even though there was a rebirth, still, she hated the thought that Hakkeran died.
"Yes. On my next rebirth, I split myself in half again and used all the information Hakken gathered in my past life to plan our next move. It pains me that I can't free you immediately after knowing where you were, but I know that freeing you would mean nothing if I didn't plan your escape well."
Sollel's heart raced. Hakkeran really did everything for me. He has no other life than me. It pained her and made her happy at the same time. Hakkeran was too focused on her that he forgot to focus on himself and the other people around him.
"At that time, I already have the information I needed, but it was still not enough. So I continued investigating the royal family of the four powerful human kingdoms, especially the Infernal Empire. At that point in time, Hakkeran started to show calmness while being in close proximity with humans. When the half of me— Hakken— asked Hakkeran why he was able to control himself, unlike when we were one, Hakkeran told him that it was his love for you that was controlling his anger towards humans. It was his love for you that clear his mind when all he wanted was to kill them all. But still, Hakken and Gabin still couldn't trust Hakkeran, so Hakkeran was sent to map out the routes that you might take to save the other queens once you're free.
"But we don't know who you will save first, so Hakkeran investigated and mapped out the route to sky castle and how to enter the floating city. Then he sailed through the seas to find the safest route to Aqua Terra where Queen Aenwyn is. Then he last mapped out the route to Hallowed Valley. Unfortunately, he died in the Shivering Valley, just after finishing its map. So we don't know the best way to cross the Desolate land Valley, hence the danger you encountered when crossing it."
If Sollel was just listening earlier and would interject from time to time, now, she was speechless and was just gaping at Hakkeran who was telling his story as if it was not a big deal!
"I know that you will not be truly happy without the other queens, so we gathered all the information we could find about their whereabouts as well. While Hakkeran was mapping the routes, me as Hakken was working with the Harpies and mapping out the city of Faberion. Looking for a way in, the best way to escape and of course, to find where they imprisoned you.
"Unfortunately, we couldn't find the exact location until I died." Hakkeran clenched his jaw at the memory of his frustration when he couldn't find his queen's moonrite prison. "So we made another plan. Before I died, I planned my rebirth with Gabin and I conspired with Gabin's sister, Gabriella, also a descendant of Sappher to give birth to me as the second prince of Infernal Empire's son— yes, as per our plan to deeply infiltrate the empire, Gabriella, romanced and married the second prince. Even the royal family was seduced by the idea of having a descendant of Sappher as their daughter-in-law."
"Where's Gabriella now?" Even thought it was all planned, Gabriella was still Hakkeran's mother and Sollel wanted to show her respect.
"She's in the town. She didn't like living here in the castle." Hakkeran smiled. "Without Gabriella, I don't think I'll be able to free you, my lady."
Sollel nodded. "I believe so too, so let's go and meet her tomorrow, or later. She's still your mother after all— wait," a thought came to mind, "if Gabriella was your mother and she's Gabin's sister, does that make you Gabin's nephew?"
Hakkeran grimaced at that. "Please, don't, my lady."
Sollel chuckled at that seeing how uncomfortable Hakkeran looked. "But you really are his nephew!" She kept teasing him. "I mean, Gabin is the same age as you now, but the fact still remain that you are his nephew."
"My lady, please..." Hakkeran begged.
Sollel laughed and kissed Hakkeran on the chin. "I'm just teasing you. You may continue."
Hakkeran sighed in relief. "On my third rebirth, this life that I have now, I grew up as a son of the second prince. I could've chosen the crown prince at that time, now Emperor Gabrien, but I don't want eyes on me. If I became a crown prince, my movement will be limited. And also because I have another reason — Solaris.
"We found out that Solaris, the Mistress of Flame's weapon was under the Infernal Empire's royal family. They took it after the siege. It was always gifted to the second prince of the generation because the second prince always serves as the sword of the empire-- the empire's warlord. For some reason, Solaris at that time was just a normal sword. When the second prince died and it was passed on to me, I think Solaris likes me because it started burning brightly."
Sollel knew why. "Solaris woke up and reacted to your strong love and devotion to me."
Hakkeran blushed, "is that so?"
"Hmm." Sollel nodded. "I sealed it before I lost my consciousness in the siege, afraid that it might cause trouble to everyone in Azitera."
Hakkeran understood where Sollel was coming from because solaris was indeed a troublesome war blade. Spouting flame and burning anyone it hated and didn't like.
"After acquiring Solaris, Hakkeran started talking to every race as planned— I say talk, but Hakkeran actually threatened every race, even the most loyal ones to the Yther's Queens to help look for firestone to get ready for your return, because he was impatient as always. Unfortunately, even after all that help, we couldn't find a single firestone so our plan changed again.
"Hakkeran went to ask for the Phoenix's race help— because of their ability to transform into a human form and also because of their ability to feel and pin point a firestone location. Even knowing that they were loyal to the Yther's queens, Hakkeran carried Solaris to threaten them and put them in the four kingdom's armies to infiltrate their ranks.
"After Barrin infiltrated the empire's army for so many years and reach a high rank, and after I used all the connection I have as the second prince's son, we finally found your moonrite prison that was well hidden and only few people knew. And that's where it all began," Hakkeran took a deep breath. "I used my arcane weapon's ability again after I pulled you out of your prison. Hakken's job was supposed to look out for you from afar while I will continue the façade we made. We left you alone and didn't help you because we want you to cause trouble. We want you to distract every kingdom while we move to find the Firestones that could bring all your strength back.
Hakkeran wrapped his arms around his lady's naked body and kissed the top of his queen's head. "The rest was history after that. I did deceive you in a way, and I'm sorry for that, but at that time, I was only thinking what was best for you, my lady. I know it was bad of me and I regretted it. I'm so sorry, my lady. I never really thought that I will be part of your life like this.
"I was afraid to be close to you because I thought my feeling will never be reciprocated. I was also afraid that you might hate me for lying to you after you've been betrayed. And I also thought that I'm not worthy of you. I mean, I'm just a lowly warrior and you're a queen— the Mistress of Flame."
Sollel's eyebrow furrowed, against at what Hakkeran said. "There's nothing lowly about you, Hakken. Nothing."
"For me, I am lowly." Hakken stated firmed. "You're a star fitting for someone's sky, not mine— someone worthy, someone amazing and someone who could give you the whole world. I was already contented by just watching you in the sky, shining so brightly and blindingly. The only reason why I planned and did all this was to put you back in the sky, where you belong, so I could watch you shine brightly again.
"That was enough for me. So to hold you like this, to be intimate with you, to be able to express my love to you in so many ways and for you to accept them wholeheartedly... I'm dumbfounded, my lady. Even now, as I embraced you, I still can't believe that the woman I'm so in love with and my Krahika who I worship is now in my arms, embracing me and giving me the honor to be hers."
Sollel didn't know why she was crying as she listened to Hakkeran. She could feel his every word. His sincerity. His unconditional love. And the length he would willingly go through for her.
And she was overcome with emotion that she started crying. And when she was finally able to control herself, she sat up and sits just above his groin and stared intently at her warlord while still naked in all her glory.
Looking at him staring back at her, Sollel could see the Hakken she liked and the Hakkeran she adored.
"You're so annoying!" Sollel flicked the tip of Hakkeran's nose. "What do you mean star in someone else's sky? Do you want me to burn you to crisp, Hakken? We made love the whole night, is that not enough?" Sollel narrowed her eyes on her warlord. "And why would I settle to be just a lowly star in someone else's sky when I know that I'm your whole sky? I'm a queen, Hakkeran. I won't settle for anything less. I know my worth. And I've already met my fair shares of men and there is no other worthy to have me than you."
Hakkeran's lips parted and his heart throbbed as if his air was being robbed.
"I like you, Hakkeran Adral." Sollel leaned in and cupped his face. "I like you too much that I want to bind you to me, so stop putting yourself down. Be proud of who you are. No one can do what you did for me and that makes you rare, incomparable and irreplaceable to me. So be proud, my warlord, because I, Queen Sollel Vatra Sarragny, the Krahika of the temple of Ignis, the first blessed queen of Yther, the Mistress of flame and the Queen of Destruction is very proud to have you and call you mine."
A lone tear escaped Hakkeran's eyes as he smiled so lovingly at her. "I love you so much, Sollel. So, so much, that I don't know how could I express this to you in a way that will not suffocate you."
Sollel used her essence to dry the tear that fell from Hakkeran's eyes before she pressed her lips on his and said, "I honestly don't mind if you smothered me with your love, Hakkeran." She shrugged. "I don't know... maybe if it's from someone, it'll be suffocating, but if it's from you, I'll gladly accept it."
Hakkeran was too surprised to speak that he was just staring at Sollel who smiled at Hakkeran's reaction.
"Ah, my warlord," a teasing smile appeared on Sollel's lips. "Do you want me to express how much I want you again?"
Almost immediately, Hakkeran gulped seeing the sultry smile on Sollel's lips. Hakkeran knew what was coming next.
And he was not mistaken.
His queen moved down on him and started kissing and licking his manhood that was already half hard. His queen's tongue was such a tease that he couldn't help gripping her hair as his head arched back and a long lustful moan escaped his lips.
"Ahh, Sollel..."
Sollel moved her lips to lick and kiss the base of Hakkeran's manhood as she looked at her warlord. "You should start calling me Sollel from now on. I like it more than 'my lady' or 'my queen'."
"Hmm..." Hakkeran was too mindless to think straight. "Yes, ahh...! Sollel... please... suck it."
Hearing her warlord begging, Sollel smiled before she welcome her warlord's well endowed manhood in her mouth and moves it up and down.
Sollel knew how much it drives Hakkeran crazy when she works her tongue when she was inside her mouth so she twirled it and licked it and sucked him hard until he was panting and calling her name as he came.
Hearing Hakkeran lustfully called her name over and over again as he came hard made her body burned so hot that she wanted to be eaten too.
"Hakken..." Sollel called her warlord's name as if aching to be pleasured.
And that made Hakkeran smiled. "Come up here and let me worship my wet little queen."
Sollel bit her lower lip and was about to position her wet folds on Hakkeran's mouth when a loud knock echoed on the door.
And then the most terrifying voice was heard.
"Sollel! I know you're in there! Come out! Sollel!" Gatria sounded so mad that Sollel lost all her desire to be eaten by her warlord. "Sollel! Come out!"
Sollel bit her lip again, not because of lust, but because of nervousness.
Then she moved to sit on the bed and looked at Hakkeran. "Hakken, I think you're dead."
Hakkeran who was still naked got up and kissed his queen on the shoulder. "We'll be fine."
Sollel vigorously shook her head. "No. You don't know Gatria. But I'll, um, I'll protect you."
Hakkeran couldn't help smiling and teasing his queen. "You look so scared though..."
"Because she's scary—"
"Sollel!"
Sollel visibly flinched and used her blood of flame to summon her blood flame armor. "Okay. I'm ready to go to war."
Hakkeran just watch his queen left the bed and walked towards the door. Meanwhile, Hakkeran hurriedly grabbed a set of clothing in the closet.
When his lady opened the door, Hakkeran was already ready to go to war and support his queen, but something happened that made him rethink twice if he would support his lady.
Sollel kneeled in front of angry Gatria and Hakkeran could only let out a sighed when Sollel started apologizing for being naughty.
This is not war, he thought. This is begging pardon at its finest.
