Mistletoe - Part 7

Drew released May in a matter of seconds.

"Brendan," He hissed,"What in the world gave you permission to enter my domain?" He growled.

May snorted.

Domain? Seriously? He acts as if we are wolfs rather than humans.

"Whose this?" Brendan asked with slight interest in May as his head moved towards her direction.

"What an un-lady like snort you've got there." He says with a grin.

"Haruka. May Haruka." May answered the question herself when Drew made no move to answer it for her.

"Maple. As in maple syrup? 'Cause your just as sweet as it." He comments with a wink. With just one move her cheeks became a tinted pink. But it was only slightly pink. Other than that, May was actually quite annoyed at his last comment.

How dare he compare me with maple syrup?! It's a maple tree!

"Leave!" Brendan backed away once he heard a loud growl. He raised his hands up in mock surrender,"Woah. Calm down tiger." Drew slammed his fist at the wall, his eyes were full of irritation,"Now."

Brendan rolled his eyes and waltzed towards the door. "Hey, nice meeting you Maple."

Once he finally left, Drew allowed his bangs to cover his eyes. "It's 12 noon already. Would you like to skip the entire day or go to school now?"

May chose the latter. "Then go and pack your things. I'll tell Gary to send you there."

May nodded solemnly, not knowing why she's even obeying his orders. Probably because of the awkward tension in the air. I mean like, it's not like there weren't any awkward tension before, but this time it's like Drew's trying to keep himself composed.

"What happened?" Gary asked as he watched her exit Drew's office. "I was chasing you, but then ran into this very hot babe! And then the next thing you know, you disappeared!"

May rolled her eyes and scoffed jokingly,"Oh and you never even bothered to look for me?" May was walking Ina. Good pace out of the hallway.

Gary shrugged,"Doesn't seem like I needed too. You guys seemed pretty cozy in the office, than is 'till the dude Brendan showed up." May stopped in her tracks,"How did you know that? Were you eavesdropping?" She demanded, with a scolding mother's voice in her tone.

Gary rolled his green eyes,"Relax beauty queen. Practically everyone heard the punch in the wall."

"Hey that was Drew's punch, not mine."

"Dude that was quite obvious. It's not like," Gary quickly scanned his eyes up and down her body,"you can actually punch something and make a echoing sound that traveled all the way to the utility room."

May ignored his last comment and resumed walking, only at a faster pace.

"Hey! Wait up!"

"Hurry up, then! I don't want to miss 4th period too! Dude I'm definitely am not going to get a principals award now." May sighed grumpily.

"So if I don't get a GPA higher than 4.3, guess who's gonna pay?"

"Drew?" He asked meekly at May's destructive glare. "Nah, he's got nothing to do with this. However, my escort one the other hand, might be needing another hand."

Gary picked up his pace,"Well then. We will be taking the gorgeous sleek, black Toyota Camry." He says and took out the keys.

Once they reached the garage, which was as big as 2 shops combined together, Gary opened the door and never stopped the car.

"Gary! Slow down!" May cried at the speed they're going,"I think I hear the police sirens!"

Gary rolled his eyes for the 3rd time now,"Puh-leaze, stop being such a big baby and suck it up." He kept on raising the speed, of the car it is going at.

"GARY! IF I DIE IM TAKING YOU DOWN WITH ME!" That was the last thing May said before, this chapter of the story ends.
