Was I too harsh?

Hoseok shook his head as he re-read the conversation, feeling guilt wash over him. He hadn't meant to snap like that at Jimin, but he couldn't help it. Feelings from the past had come rushing in, and because this was how he and Jimin had usually conversed, it didn't make sense to Hoseok that Jimin would ever want to be...civil.

He couldn't even remember the last time Jimin and he had a nice conversation. Perhaps it was when they had all first met, back in high school. They were both in the same class, and they had gravitated towards each other. Jimin had been nice then, quickly becoming one of Hoseok's friends.

Then Hoseok was introduced to Yoongi and any friendly interactions quickly dissipated.

Did it leave Hoseok confused? Of course.

Was Hoseok in attempts to try to figure out why Jimin had suddenly gotten cold? Not at all.

"Yo, why do you look like you're about to destroy that phone?"

Hoseok looked up to see Jungkook gazing at him with a mixture of innocence and curiosity. Hoseok shook his head slightly, pressing his lips together.

"Jimin was trying to be civil with me, I guess, and I just wasn't used to that," Hoseok answered. Jungkook made a face, shaking his head.

"I get you and Jimin have history but if he's trying to be nice, maybe you should be nice back," Jungkook suggested, sitting down next to Hoseok. Without asking, he grabbed Hoseok's phone, and read the conversation between Jimin and Hoseok. "You know, when Namjoon and I joked about the sexual tension between you two, we didn't mean it literally."

"There's no sexual tension between us." Hoseok sighed harshly. "Just friends to enemies type of shit."

"Sounds like sexual tension to me," Jungkook commented. "NAMJOON!"

In a flash, Namjoon appeared at the door, almost as if he'd been waiting to be called, which Hoseok knew, was probably the case because Namjoon lived for Hoseok's misery.

"Hello."

"Yes, hi." Jungkook waved him over, handing him Hoseok's phone. "Read this shit and tell me this ain't sexual tension."

"Oh my god." Hoseok smacked himself with his pillow. "I know you guys aren't commenting on this."

"Yes." Namjoon nodded. "Very sexual tension. Alaska would definitely approve."

Hoseok gave Namjoon a weird look. "Who the fuck is Alaska?"

Namjoon blinked a couple of times, before completely ignoring Hoseok's question. "Did you and Jimin have a relationship before or something?"

"Uh, no," Hoseok scoffed. "The hell? I dated around, but like, from them, I've only dated Yoongi."

Namjoon shrugged, handing Hoseok back his phone. "Well, I'm not a genius or anything but there's some unspoken tension between you all. This is a conversation and it's suffocating me."

"You guys are overreacting," Hoseok mumbled, going to close the conversation before freezing. He blinked a couple of times, surprise and horror washing over him as he checked to make sure that he was reading it right.

"What is it?"

Jungkook immediately noticed Hoseok's rigidness, quickly taking the phone out of Hoseok's hand once more. Namjoon peeked over, his eyebrow raising before bursting out into laughter.

"Oh, you've got to be kidding me."

Jungkook let out a low whistle. "Geez Hoseok, you've got the worst luck in the world."

"Honestly." Namjoon snickered, taking out his phone. "Oh, he messaged me too."

"Uh, I better not have been left out from this." Jungkook scoffed slightly, taking out his phone. "Omg, I wasn't. We love this."

"I'm not answering that," Hoseok muttered. "No fucking way."

"No fucking way?" Namjoon asked, trying to suppress the smile on his lips.

"No fucking way bro," Hoseok affirmed, frowning. "Wait, how the fuck does a fan page act when their idol contacts them? Man, Wattpad could not have prepared me for this shit."

"It's the fact that you rely on Wattpad for your fan page, for me," Namjoon rolled his eyes. "You'll. be fine. You know him. It'll be rude not to respond to him."

Jungkook's eyes lit up. "I think more whores are on the way."

"Jungkook, no." Hoseok deadpanned, wanting to slam his face into the wall. "I'm just going to act like I didn't see it."

"Mm, because a Min Yoongi fan page isn't going to notice when Min Yoongi messages them." Namjoon mused. "Hoseok, you're an idiot. Fucking answer."

"I don't know how to!"

"Oh for fucks sake." Jungkook took possession of Hoseok's phone again. "Sometimes, you gotta take one for the team."

Hoseok took his phone back, the urge to slam his head against the wall even stronger now. It's the way he was trying to stay away from even messaging Yoongi, but Jungkook really told him no in all capital letters and the biggest fucking red heart ever.
