"You think Jungkook will be okay?"

Hoseok's lip pressed into a thin line at Taehyung's words as he turned the cars towards Taehyung's residence.

"You didn't notice the way his style of texting changed at the end?" Hoseok asked as he pulled into the driveway. "Jungkook is usually relaxed and carefree. He strayed away from that at the end. Mans is hurting bad."

"You're right," Taehyung murmured as he scrolled up to re-read the messages. "I didn't notice that."

Hoseok scoffed slightly, dipping his head. "No one ever does. They see Jungkook as this easy-going, carefree spirit, but there's always more than meets the eye. Believe it or not, he's actually a very serious guy."

Taehyung burst into laughter, looking at Hoseok incredulously, who only blinked at him in confusion. The laughter slowly slipped out of Taehyung's face when he realized that Hoseok wasn't joking, but refrained from saying anything as the passenger door opened, Jungkook crawling inside with a backpack full of his belongings.

"Hey, JK," Hoseok smiled softly, prying the backpack out of the boy's hands. Jungkook only nodded, not bothering to offer him a smile.

"Hey, Seokie," he piped softly. "Hi, Tae."

"You have everything you need?" Hoseok asked, already pulling out of the driveway. "How long are you planning on sleeping over with me?"

"I don't know yet," Jungkook responded, fiddling with his fingers. "Yoongi says hi by the way."

Hoseok nodded at the statement, looking at Jungkook in concern. "How long have you guys been arguing?"

"More often than I'd like to admit," Jungkook answered meekly. "We're very different."

Different?

"Wait, but you guys love each other," Taehyung said, aghast by Jungkook's words. "I thought you two were like a match made in heaven. Like a perfect match."

Jungkook looked at Taehyung with red, tired eyes. "Even perfect matches have their setbacks, Taehyung. I just happened to find mine a lot quicker than I anticipated."
