I walk into the Great Hall and make my way over to the Slytherin table.

I quickly find Pansy and Blaise. I walk over and sit with them.

" You ok Draco?" Asks Pansy.

" Of course. I'm a Malfoy. Why wouldn't I be?" I say with a small smirk.

She rolled her eyes and shoved my shoulder. " Yup, he's ok." Says Pansy.

Blaise laughed. " I bet that fight didn't go as you have thought. Right Draco?" Says Blaise.

" Oh it was going exactly how I planned it in my mind. If only that stupid Professor hasn't gotten in the way and did what he did. " I say.

" Yeah, that wasn't cool. No teacher should ever do that to anyone." Says Pansy.

We all agree. After a bit we were eating. I look across the Great Hall, yet again to the Gryffindor table.

I spot Harry. He looks and nods at me. Soon after we were done eating we start walking towards Slytherin house.

We walked in and sat down for a while. We all talk for a while before everyone goes to bed.

All besides Pansy and Blaise. Soon though Blaise gets tired and heads on to bed.

I look at Pansy. " I need to talk to you." I say.

She smiles. " I'm all ears Draco." Says Pansy.

" Ok, so I found out something about the first task." I say.

Her eyes widened. " You did?! Holy crap Draco. This is amazing. What did you find out?" Says Pansy.

" I found out the first task has something to do with dragons." I say.

Her eyes widen in fear this time. " Dragons!! You have to fight dragons!!" Says Pansy.

" Shh. No one else can find out." I say.

" Then why are you telling me this?" She asks.

" Cause I trust you. You'd be able to keep this a secret. Blaise would not. Plus I have a few more things to tell you." I say.

She nods. " That fight between Potter and I today was staged. " I say.

" Staged? What do you mean by that Draco?" Says Pansy.

" Meaning Potter and I planned a fight and it would have gone as planned if Moody hadn't jumped in like he did." I say.

" I don't understand. Why would you plan a fight with your worst enemy?" Says Pansy.

" That's another thing. We're not enemies this year." I says.

" Then what are you?" Says Pansy.

" After the Daily Prophet stories were taken by the freak lady, Potter told me to meet him that night at midnight at the Astronomy Tower to talk." I say.

" What did he want to talk to you about?" Asks Pansy.

" He said there was no point in is fighting this year if we're both in this Tournament. We'll be fighting for the same thing against the other schools, so it'd be pointless to fight each other all the time. So we made a truce for this year." I say.

Instead of freaking out she smiled. " I knew it. " says Pansy.

" What?" I ask.

" Draco I'm not stupid. I knew something was up from the beginning when you and Potter were nodding at each other in the Great Hall. Then the look of worry that crossed his face today when Moody stepped into the fight and did what he did. You two aren't just being friendly cause of the truce. Your actually becoming friends." Says Pansy.

" Your more observant then I though Pansy." I say.

She smiled. " So, was it Harry that told you about the first task?" She asked.

" Sorta. He found out from Weasley that Hagrid was looking for him. The explanation was longer then that, trust me. Hagrid wanted to show Harry something in the forbidden forest that night. Harry had told him about our truce so I got to tag along. We went into the forbidden forest and saw the dragons ourselves. There's a rather nasty looking one. Not sure what it's called, but I sure hope I don't go up against it." I say.

" He's also the one that got you to tell me this, isn't he?" Says Pansy.

" Yeah. He said he was going to tell the muggle born and that I should tell one of my friends. So I picked you." I say.

She nods. " Well I'm glad you trust me. I will do everything I can to help you then." Says Pansy.

I smile. " Why did you stage the fight?" Says Pansy.

" Because we haven't fought in weeks and people would get suspicious about our truce. We plan to keep it secret. So we decided to keep people from thinking about it we would stage a fight. Only it didn't go as planned." I say.

She laughed and kissed my cheek. " It sure didn't Draco. Ok. You best be off to bed. The first task in coming up soon. I know you sneak out now. So on the days you don't you need to relax and be prepared for what's to come." Says Pansy.

I nod. " We're allowed our wands in the first task. " I say.

" That's perfect Draco. " says Pansy.

" See you tomorrow Pansy." I say.

She smiled and stood. " Good night Draco." She says before going to bed.

I get up and head to my room. Once I get there I walk over to my bed and sit down.

Pansy is right. The first task is coming soon and I need to start working on a plan of what I'm going to do to fight whatever dragon I'll be going up against.

I mean, I don't even know what the first task is. All I know is it will have something to do with dragons.

How the heck are we supposed to be prepared for this when we don't even know what we're doing for the first task?

I'll have to think about it a while soon. For now though Pansy is right.

If I'm going to be well prepared I need all the sleep I can get.

I quickly get up and dress into my night clothes before getting into bed.

I somehow manage to calm my racing mind before closing my eyes and finally drifting off into a dreamless sleep.
