twenty nine.

THE MOMENT

He smiled at the camera, it was the biggest smile he'd ever worn and it had been permanently resting on his face since he arrived back to the Sidemen house and found a envelope on his bed, one which told him to go to the park where he would find the next instruction. Beside the envelope he had found a tiny little teddy bear that was yellow. He knew it must have been from Alex.

"So, my girlfriend- as you'll all know her as Alex, has left me this envelope and this teddy bear telling me to go to the park so I thought I'd bring everyone with me and see what this is about. For those wondering, Nathan is out with JJ and Hannah for a little shopping trip as Hannah and JJ love to spoil Nathan as if he's almost their own son," Simon laughs and he grabs his car keys and the envelope and teddy bear. He heads down and out to his car, still carrying the camera as he turns over the engine and pulls on his seatbelt.

"I'm slightly confused, and I hope its something good, and I'm nervous and excited, but lets go see whats at the park," Simon says as he slips on his glasses and pulls off.

After a 20 minute drive Simon pulls up to the park. He grabs his camera and heads out, he travels across the park, he somehow knows exactly where to go and finds another envelope sat on a bench, a yellow balloon tied to the back of the bench which causes Simon to chuckle. He takes the envelope and records himself opening it and he finds another piece of paper reading Go to our favourite coffee shop and ask for my regular. Simon removes the balloon and travels across the park back to the car.

After another 10 minute drive he's at the coffee shop and he takes a moment to recall what Alex's order is before getting out and heading inside, the camera focused in front of him as he goes inside.

"Simon, how's it going man?" Asks the man behind the counter who knew Simon and Alex quite well by now purely based on the amount of time they spend here.

"I'll get a caramel mocha please, you know, Alex's favourite," Simon says and the man known as Connor nods, he reaches under the counter and takes out an envelope which only causes Simon to roll his eyes and for a small smile to come over his lips.

"Great, thanks Con," Simon says, grabbing the envelope and waiting as Connor also grabs a pastel yellow bib.

"What the hell?" Simon mutters, taking the bib into his hands and then glancing back at Connor.

"Don't ask me man," Connor says, holding his hands up to show his innocence.

"Thanks...I guess?" Simon laughs before heading outside and back to the car. Once inside he throws the bib onto the passenger seat and opens the envelope.

"Go to the restaurant," He reads aloud and as soon as he's done reading it he puts it down and pulls off.

Another 20 minutes and he's pulled up in the restaurants car park where Alex works. He grabs the camera and gets out, heading to the front of the building and going inside.

He glances around for anything yellow and sees nothing.

"Good evening sir, do you have a reservation?" Asks the host at the front entrance.

"Urm not as such, my girlfriend works here and she's doing this thing with envelopes and yeah...I got told to come here," Simon says and the mans eyes light up.

"Mr Minter, follow me," He says and Simon follows cautiously, they end up heading out to the kitchen where Simon sees the envelope left on Alex's empty chef station. He picks it and opens it revealing the next location- the London Eye. Simon runs a hand through his hair before the host presents to him a yellow blanket that had an embroidered elephant on it. Simon's eyebrows furrow in confusion causing the host to chuckle.

"Alex said you'd be confused," He says and Simon lets out a light laugh.

"She sure was right," Simon breathes out before following the host back outside and then he heads to the car. By now it was starting to get late and the London Eye would surely be closing soon. He decides to put his foot on it a little as he heads for the centre of London. Luckily the traffic isn't too bad as he manages to park a few streets away from the London Eye.

He practically jogs all the way to the landmark and when he arrives he walks up to the ticket counter.

"My crazy girlfriend is sending me on a hunt with these weird envelope things and yeah, I was told to come here?" Simon explains to the man and the man smiles.

"Simon Minter right?" He asks and Simon nods, "Join the line,"

"Thanks..." Simon mumbles and he joins the queue to get onto the London Eye.

The group before him get on and he's forced to wait for the next one.

"Are you Simon Minter?" Asks the woman letting people onto the ride and he nods.

"Thats me," He says and the woman smiles.

"You get the next carriage all to yourself," She says just as the next one pulls up and Simon smiles in thanks as he goes inside.

He enjoys the view as the wheel turns and then he sees the envelope taped to the window as he records with his camera.

He opens it up and finds a pressed yellow rose inside along with the paper that reveals the next location as My favourite place in London. Simon spent the rest of the London Eye ride wondering exactly what that meant. Simon knew Alex loved London- she loved Big Ben, she loved the Thames, she loved the theatre and she loved the Natural History Museum.

Once Simon had gotten off the eye and walked back to his car he realised just where it could be. He smiled as he realised. It had to be the Globe Theatre. He couldn't think of what else it could be. Her favourite place had to be there.

He climbed into the car and drove off. He'd kick himself if he was wrong, but he had an inkling it was the right place. As he pulled up outside he saw someone standing outside in a suit and he immediately recognised it to be Josh.

Simon got out the car with his camera and walked over to his friend.

"Care to explain what you're doing here...In a suit?" Simon asks and Josh simply smiles and opens the door.

"All will be revealed," Josh says and Simon rolls his eyes with a smug smile and heads into the building. He walks right out into the main area, glancing round at the old building. He was stood in the audience area, his eyes searching round and suddenly the light go down apart from one spotlight that pointed towards the left hand side of the stage. Out walked Vik cuddling a yellow teddy bear that was identical to the one Simon found in the house. Another spotlight came on to the right hand side. Out walked Ethan holding a yellow balloon. A light next to Vik this time, and out walked JJ with a yellow bib pinned to his shirt. Another light next to Ethan flickered on and Harry walked out with a yellow blanket draped over his shoulders. And a final light between Harry and JJ came on and out walked Alex. A fresh yellow rose in her hand as she stopped in the light. Simon smiled as the four other lights turned off and the four boys walked off stage.

"I have one final envelope for you," Alex says and she turns her head to Tobi who was walking out to Simon carrying a yellow envelope this time.

Simon takes the envelope and looks up to Alex before focusing the camera on it. He opens it up and takes out the paper.

I'm Pregnant

His eyes flicker over the words a few times, his mind was trying to comprehend the words on the paper.

"Wait...Seriously?" Simon asks, looking up at Alex and she nods, a soft smile on her face.

"Oh my god," Simon says as his lips curve into a smile.

He runs forwards and climbs onto the stage. He grabs Alex and pulls her into a tight hug that causes Alex to lose her breath.

"I love you," Simon says, pulling back to give Alex a passionate kiss.

"I'M GOING TO BE A BIG BROTHER!" The two hear and they look round behind them to see Nathan standing with Hannah behind him, he'd been back stage the entire time and as Simon received his envelope Nathan had received a yellow t-shirt that read I'm a big brother. Of course, Nathan wanted to rush on stage immediately but Hannah had to keep him back for a moment.

"Yes you are buddy," Alex grins and he runs over and Simon lifts him up, bringing his family in for a hug.

"This is the best day ever!" Nathan grins as he hugs his parents tightly.

"I have to say I agree," Simon says, smiling towards Alex.

"I hope the whole envelope thing wasn't too much," She says and Simon shakes his head.

"It was amazing," Simon says, "I'm just glad I guessed it was the Globe Theatre that was right for the favourite place,"

"I do love Shakespeare," Alex smiles, glancing around at the beautiful building before her.

"I love you so much," Simon says and Alex smiles.

"I love you all," Simon chuckles, eyes shifting from Alex to Nathan and then to Alex's stomach.

Alex lifts a hand to Simon's cheek before whispering, "We love you too, Simon,"
