The sound of sobbing caught my attention. His hand was still in front of his face, but he moved it slightly away so I could see him better. "Please....don't."

I slowly lowered myself to the ground, gently placing the knife down. "It's okay, this was just a big mistake, alright? I'm not going to kill you." I reached my hand out to him, causing him to flinch at first, but then he took my hand.

"What's your name?" I asked, placing my hand on his shoulder, sending a shiver down his spine. "Sean, b-but you can call me Jack."

I quickly reached down to my belt, grabbing the small beeping button on it. I ripped it off and threw it on the ground, stomping it under my foot. "Listen Jack, the thing I just stomped? That was a tracker. Dark- like you even know who he is- now knows where you live. You have two options. You can stay here like a sitting duck and wait for your death, or you can come with me." At this point I was speaking frantically, knowing that Dark would notice that the tracker was down.

"I-I won't go with you, you tried to kill me!" Jack sat back at His desk. "Yet you told me your name." I rolled my eyes. "Okay, but don't say I didn't warn you."
I faded into the shadows and remained silent.

He sighed and scrolled on his computer, looking through Tumblr. Sorry Jack, this is for your own safety. I kept out of the shadows and grabbed him, putting my hands over his nose and mouth. Jack let out a muffled scream before he quickly passed out. I pulled the cartridge that held my red capsules, labled Demon Fuel, off of my belt and shattered it on the ground.

It was weird going home submerged in the shadows, dragging an unconscious body. I honestly never thought I'd be in this situation. I took Jack into the basement and tied him to a chair, knowing he would freak out when he woke up. Though, that probably didn't make it any better.

His eyes fluttered open, revealing their beautiful, vibrant blue color. He soon saw that he wasn't at home and began to heave. "Jack, you'll be okay. I won't hurt you. I promise." I walked into the light.

"Why are you doing this to me?!" Jack screamed, struggling against the ropes. I stared him down angrily. "I'm trying to protect you from a demon!"
I gripped the sides of my head. "I should be protecting you from myself!"

Jack's face twisted into a confused expression and he stopped struggling. "W-what are you talking about?" I shook my head dismissively. I started the walk up the stairs out of my basement, when Jack sighed. "Please?"

I looked down at my feet. If I had one weakness, it was compassion. "I....I'm half demon. There's still that human part of me, the part of me that feels bad for what I do. But I took these pills that distracted the human side, while fueling the demon side." I paced around the room, my hands folded behind my back.

Jack watched me intently, his bright, blue eyes flashing in the light. "You took them before you came after me, right?" I nodded as I stopped in front of him. His hair looked so soft, the green making it appear fuzzy.

"Then why...am I here?" Jack met eyes with me. "Tied up to this chair. From the sound of what you just told me, I should be dead." I felt my heart drop into my stomach. Did he....accept death? He cried out for me to stop before, so why did he accept it now?

"D-..don't say that. I don't know why, but I'm glad I didn't. It would have been in vane. N-not like that's the only reason, but its the main one." I watched Jack uncomfortably shift. "Oh, h-here."

I untied him and he stood, stretching. "Back to what I was saying, I work with other demons- Darkiplier, Mad Cry, and Anti-virus Pewdiepie- we kill people. And I was sent to kill you, but I didn't." I sighed and looked at the ground. I didn't feel safe, even in my own home.

"Just a moment." I said as I walked up the stairs and into my living room. I walked back into the basement with two dogs. The Rottweilers sat on the concrete floor next to Jack.

"Dark will stop at nothing to kill you, and at this point, me. That's why I have to stop him." Suddenly, the dogs started barking. A familiar form stepped out of the shadows.

"That won't be necessary. You see, I'm about to finish this all."
