Based on Open Novella Contest Prompt No. 54

Interpretation

Jon Snow is not exactly your average secret agent. Currently, he is working as a chef in the hospital cafeteria and suffers from amnesia. He is waiting for someone, anyone, to come and claim him.

He is also very different from what comes to your mind when you think of a secret agent. For instance, he doesn't have a chiselled face, a towering personality or six-pack abs (far from it).

The only thing that is sexy about him is his name: Jon Snow. Unfortunately, that too is not something that he had acquired at birth.

That being said, he does have amazing cooking skills, a winning attitude that can make the grouchiest people smile and a pleasant personality that can make even the most guarded people let down their hair. These are his only skills: his weapons, at the moment, for even if he did have others before, he has no recollection of them.

Now, having received a mission, right out of the blue with not only his life but also the life of his friends on the line (who, like him, know nothing about his past), how will he manage to succeed with such limited set of skills at his disposal?

Nonetheless, since he is the hero of his story, he must embark on this mission (and he does, rather unwillingly), to change not only his life but also the life of a man, who would require Jon Snow to use all the weapons at his disposal.

Can Agent 23 succeed?

Will he survive this mission (with all of him intact)?

Will someone claim him before he is taken (out)?

Will he be able to complete his mission, a mission that he is barely managing?
