Maddy's POV:

Dith laughed "Yeah, I 'really' do." I sensed the sarcasm in her and I spazzed her, then I remember she wasn't spazz-able and in my mind I was like... G-R-E-A-T! She then poked me and I started squealing. She shushed me and I started snorting. We ended up both lying on the crash mats rolling over trying to control our laughter, but we couldn't and we ended up like beetles being upside down!

-A few moments later-

I packed up my things I checked my phone screen. I remembered I had to call Austin to meet me outside of the playground where the water well was close to. I sat on the bench and I dialed his number. I tapped my shoes and I waited for him to pick up. Suddenly, I heard the line pick up.

"Hello?"

"Hey Austin, it's me Maddy."

"Oh hey Maddy!"

"Look Austin, I know it's a bit last minute but-"

"-you're finally gonna give me back my baby picture book!?"

"Don't cut me off, just let me finish"

"Sorry..."

"It's okay. Well, I know it's a bit last minute but can you come and meet me at the playground?"

"Yeah sure, but why?"

"I'm just feeling a bit lonely so I want you to pick up Max with me."

"Isn't Dith gonna be with you?"

"No, she's going to wash my dad's go-karts"

"Oh, I see. Well in that case, I'll be there in a minute. Race ya!"

He hung up and left me speechless. I yelled "Bye Dith!!! Cya at home!!! Gotta go!!!" Dith waved back and I hurried. I remembered I forgot my crash mat at the water well, but I'll just text Dith to help me pick it up. After all, she forgets her carabiners sometimes and I just pick it up for her. My feet were a bit tired, but I still ran towards the playground entrance. At first glance I saw nobody was there. All of a sudden, all I saw a pitch black. "Guess who?"

"I know it's you Austin" I said. "Darn it!" Austin said with frustration. "Anyways let's head to the daycare" I said. Austin smiled"It's not even time yet Maddy. Chillax, let's just get some froyo k?"

I smiled back "Okay"

Meredith's POV:

I saw that Maddy forgot her crash mat again. *sighs* Whenever she's in a hurry to meet Austin, she always forgets her crash mat... I'll just pick it up for her and bring it home. I packed up my stuff and I texted my best friend-Gus-to meet me right outside of the racetrack. I trudged home slowly, and the weight of our equipment was slowing me down. Gus saw me and he helped me carry half of the load. I thanked him and I put my equipment underneath the place where Maddy and I would hide it from our parents. Gus sat next to me and asked "Why am I here again?" I said "I'm not really good at washing cars, especially go-karts and since you're my best friend, and you know these type of stuff, I called you over to help me." Gus sighed "Really? I thought you called me over cos we had to do some type of school work... You know I even brought my backpack here with all my uncompleted homework..." I laughed "Gussssss... *sigh Anyways it doesn't matter, cos we have a project together anyways so after washing the karts we can just go over your homework and do the project together." Gus grinned "Thanks Dithy, you always know how to plan things out just the top of your head." I smiled back "Haha, let's get going to work now."

I was washing the go kart when Gus shouted "Hey Dithy, come over here!" I ran towards where he was. Gus looked at me and he said "Can you grab a piece of paper from my bag and a pencil for me please?" I replied "Sure thing, no problem." I got the paper and a pencil from his bag and he started drawing something. It was very detailed and when he finished I saw it was a diagram of a go kart. He explained all the parts and what they do for the go kart. Gus said "Hehe... I'm such a nerd" I laughed "Pshh, Gus the nerd. I think we've finished washing the go karts. You wanna stay over for dinner?" Gus said "Okay"

Gus and I pushed the go karts towards the "parking" spaces. We headed to my house and I told him to stay downstairs. I took a quick shower and I quickly put on some jeans and a T-shirt. I tied my shoelaces and I yelled "Gus!" at the top of my lungs. He quickly ran up, and asked "Yes ma'am?" I said "We can start on our assignment now. I have pens and pencils and scrap paper for planning." Gus smirked "Talk about being prepared" I playfully hit his shoulder and he stuck his tongue at me. I rolled my eyes and sighed "Boys..." We then used our laptops for research and I quickly finished drawing a plan for our poster. We went over the plan thoroughly, changing ideas and then combining them. After 2 hours, we had finished our poster and we were quite tired. Dad then yelled "Kids! Time for dinner!" Gus and I rushed down the stairs, as both of our tummies were growling with hunger. I saw that Maddie and Austin were already sitting at the dinner table, chatting to each other like magpies. I saw Max sitting in his baby chair, being fed baby food that Dad had prepared. I sat in my seat and I quickly took some mashed potatoes and poured gravy all over it. "Mmmmmm" said Gus. I asked "You like it?" Gus replied "Mashed potatoes with gravy are my favourite food!" I laughed "They're my favourite food" Both Austin and Maddie said "Aww, you guys are soo cute!" I rolled my eyes and said "Says the one who's already an official couple..." Maddy then pressed her finger to her lips and said "Sshhhh!" Dad chuckled "Girls, girls-We already know who you like... No need for drama" Maddy then widened her eyes, and both Austin and Gus roared with laughter. We were all having a great time and we couldn't stop laughing.

Super sorry for not posting in such a long time. I had so many assignments and projects. I am very busy with schoolwork, so I'll probably not post in like a few weeks time. FYI, next week I will not be posting. I will NOT be posting. I've just had a maths test and it was realy stressful. I'm receiving my results today... I hope I get something good... I do not want to fail this test. I needa go now-Skl calls
