It was a normal day, like any other day. Practicing for hours for their new choreography, warming up their voices, and seeing if the formation is right.
Yeosang, had a couple mistakes there and then, but nothing too noticeable. Everyone knew by now that Yeosang can get pretty upset for a simple mistake. They already read his mind of staying behind.
"Yeosang? You coming?" Hongjoong asked as they start to exit the studio, the younger gave a blank stare on the mirror and sighed.
"I'm going to have to practice a little more hyung." Yeosang showed a small smile, in which Hongjoong returned.
"Don't overwork yourself!" Yeosang heard Seonghwa shout just right outside the door.
"Get back before midnight!" He, then, heard Wooyoung shout with his high-pitched voice. Yeosang smiled with their concerns.
"Alright, I will." Yeosang muttered, Hongjoong nodded and walked towards the younger, he patted Yeosang's head and pulled him in a hug.
"Be careful, call any of us if you are ever in trouble. Yunho will check on you early in the morning if you don't get home. Alright?" Hongjoong advised, Yeosang nodded and pulled away from him.
Jongho's head peeked in and waved at both of them.
"Joong-hyung, the others are getting impatient. Sangie-hyung, please don't overwork yourself too much." Jongho smiled as Yeosang nodded again.
"Okay, see you Yeosang." They bid their goodbyes as they walk out of the studio, closing the door behind him.
Jongho, and Hongjoong, walked together, passing by a few staff who were also ready to go home.
"Is it a good idea to leave hyung at this time?" Jongho suddenly asked, making Hongjoong's eyebrow raise.
"He always do that, why do you ask?"
"It's just that... I have this gut feeling... Ah, nevermind. It's probably a ridiculous thing." Hongjoong smiled and ruffled the maknae's hair.
"Pabo, nothing is ridiculous, now tell me." Jongho pouted in annoyance as he retouch his hair.
"I have this bad feeling of just leaving him. I don't know, what if he... Get injured? Or something like that. I can't exactly explain it." Hongjoong let out a humming noise to signify that he's listening.
"Don't worry about it. I told him to call any of us if he ever get in trouble. Yunho will also be checking in on him early in the morning if he doesn't come home." They arrived at the van, Jongho entered first, as Hongjoong followed behind.
"What took you so long?!" Wooyoung shrieked. Making Hongjoong slap him lightly in the head, San turned and wrapped his arms around Wooyoung.
"Don't hurt my baby!" San let out a war cry and slapped Hongjoong back.
"Ey! This is unfair, this is bullying!" Hongjoong whined as he sat down beside Mingi.
"Oh shut up, you started it, minion." Mingi added.
"Seonghwa!" Hongjoong pouted. Seonghwa turned in his seat and glared at everyone. They all settled in their seats like a child being lectured by their mom.
Seonghwa then smiled, "It's all on you Joong." He turned back in his seat, putting on his earphones to block the noise, but not loud enough to not hear the drama going on.
Hongjoong with his jaw opened in shock, got his cheek pinched by Mingi.
"Ow! Mingi! What the-"
"No cursing." Seonghwa added.
"But Yeosang cursed on his lines!"
"Let the poor boy live!" Yunho defended Yeosang.
"Looks like you lost hyung." Jongho simply added, leaving Hongjoong with a pouty face.
Wooyoung and San, played by themselves, Hongjoong and Mingi are having a talk about who knows what. Seonghwa and Jongho minded their own business, as Yunho did the opposite thing. Being the sunshine that he is, he is always bothering Jongho but that didn't seem to bother the younger at all. After all, he is a happy pill, he can make everyone smile with just him standing.
They settled down on their dorms, quietly abandoning on what happened inside the van. They all went straight for their rooms, to clean theirselves up, and to finally rest from the busy day they had. Not knowing what to come.
