I wake to the warmth of the sun on my face. I hear voices as I regain consciousness, "Why do you trust him?" I can tell its Neon, there's a pause then Regan speaks "He's helped me." A moment of silence passes, "...I don't get why ... sent you to him instead of to me." I can tell Neon is jealous of me; I can pretty much feel her anger towards me, but who is the other person she's talking about? Another pause, "I don't know either Neon, maybe ... see's something in him we don't." They fall into silence. "He's awake." They fall silent as I open my eyes with a groan. I see the room is back in order, no evidence of last night's destruction. 

"Mark, glad you are awake. Neon told me you stayed with me the whole night, thank you." I open my eyes to see Regan smiling at me, while Neon avoiding my gaze. A doctor came in just when I was about to speck.

"Good to see you better Regan. You had us worried last night. Good thing you have a nice friend here that stayed with you the whole night." As he said that he pointed in my direction as he checked Regan's report sheet. "Everything looks in order; if everything goes fine today you'll be released by tomorrow." Regan got really excited, doing a little shuffle while still sitting. Regan had the biggest smile on her face; even Neon has a small smile.  

As the doctor left a man with a long white beard walked in. The two girls start away looked scared, how is this man?

"Mark, could you leave for a second?" Regan didn't take her eyes off the man. I proceed to leave with the door slamming behind me.
