Chapter 94

Nevertheless, the night didn't get really good.

Although the nightmares stayed away, Minho always had Felix's face in front of his eyes.

And although the thoughts of Felix didn't let him go, he couldn't even explain why that was the case.

In the middle of the night, he had enough of rolling back and forth in bed and stood up.

Annoyed, he put on his jacket and went to the balcony.

Sighing, he sat down on the wooden bench, pulled the cigarettes out of his pocket and lit one.

Before the others had left for Japan, Minho had managed not to smoke at all for about two weeks, but since they were gone, it had become significantly more.

He longed incredibly for Jisung, Chan and Changbin. And yet the thoughts of Felix didn't let him go.

Annoyed, he turned the cigarette back and forth between his fingers. He had nothing to do with this guy at all and yet his thoughts kept turning around the blue-haired.

Minho immediately lit the next cigarette after he had finished smoking the first.

He would have liked to talk to someone, but he was pretty sure that Jisung, Chan and Changbin were already asleep.

A look at his watch told him that he should actually urgently try to get some sleep himself.

Sighing, he snapped out his cigarette.

But instead of the bedroom, his way led to the bathroom, into the shower.

Somehow he hoped that the warm water would make him sleepy and he would at least get a little sleep before he had to go to work.

His plan worked out and he fell asleep relatively quickly, but three hours of sleep wasn't that much.

And so the next morning he sat quite tired at his desk and fervently hoped that the day wouldn't be too exhausting.

"Hey, what's the matter with you?" Sumi asked worriedly when she arrived at work shortly after him.

"I don't know.. The night was terrible...," Minho murmured.

"I'll get you a coffee. Maybe it will at least help a little," said Sumi and disappeared into the kitchen.

A short time later, a steaming cup of coffee stood in front of Minho. Nevertheless, he didn't really wake up from it, but at least the coffee warmed him a little.

For Chan, Changbin and Jisung, the last performance in Japan was coming up today.

The night had also been terrible for the three of them. And although they had all gotten too little sleep, Chan and Changbin had to get up early and return to their rooms.

Although the management looked over most of it, for whatever reason it was important to them that they slept in separate rooms.

Tired, Jisung got out of bed and dragged himself towards the bathroom.

Before he got into the shower, he wrote Minho a message that he should be careful at work and he missed him incredibly.

Normally he would have sent him a voice message, but his throat hurt and he had to get through the performance tonight.

He suppressed a sigh and went into the shower.

The warm water did well and also loosened his tense muscles a little.

He almost fell asleep again while standing if it hadn't knocked on his room door at some point.

"Ji? Are you awake?" he heard Chan's voice through the open bathroom door.

Yawning, he put out the water, wrapped himself in a towel and went to the door.

Chan looked just as tired as Jisung felt.

Without a word, Jisung pulled Chan into his room and snuggled into the elder's arm after he had closed the door again.

"Where is Binnie?" he asked quietly.

"In the gym. Come on, let's have some breakfast and maybe get some tea for your throat, hmm?" asked Chan and lovingly stroked through Jisung's wet hair.

He nodded.

"Give me ten minutes, then I'll be done," he murmured, detached himself from Chan again and went back to the bathroom to blow-dry his hair.

Chan lay down on Jisung's bed and closed his eyes. Even if the concerts were fun and they drew a lot of strength from the encounters with their fans, he just felt tired and exhausted.

Tomorrow they would have to make a TV appearance and an interview and then they would finally be able to fly home again.

And apart from a few appearances on variety shows or on the radio, apart from their normal work, they would have some rest.

Around Christmas and New Year, it would be a bit of an effort again. Many award shows and Christmas appearances.

And even if they had to rehearse and prepare a lot for it, these were often very nice experiences.

After that, they would have a little break before they would continue their tour in spring.

Sighing, Chan rubbed his face. He would have liked to have slept a few more hours.

A short time later, Jisung came out of the bathroom and together they made their way to the dining room.

On the way there, they collected Changbin. Because after breakfast they had to leave directly for rehearsal.

Silently, they sat at the table and while they were having breakfast, everyone followed their own thoughts.

But they didn't really have much time for it.

Shortly after they had eaten, their manager came, shortly afterwards their security and took them to their car.

Fortunately, at least there were no fans in front of the hotel.

The way wasn't far and so they sat in their wardrobe a short time later and waited to start with the rehearsal.

Jisung was lying on the floor and was about to fall asleep. Chan sat in a corner at his laptop and was busy with something, while Changbin tried to go through the choreos in front of the mirror as quietly as possible.

At some point he gave up sighing and dropped himself on the sofa next to Chan.

"Why am I still nervous? I should have gotten used to being on stage again by now," he mumbled more to himself than to Chan, but he had listened to him carefully and reached for his hand.

"Only today and tomorrow. Then we have some rest again," Chan said quietly and smiled at Changbin.

He sighed and nodded. He would have liked to cuddle with Chan and kiss him, but with all staff around them, that wasn't a good idea.

It took quite a while for them to get on stage, because there had been some technical problems and so they had to hurry up quite a bit with the rehearsal.

And so they sat in front of mirrors again a short time later, while their hair and makeup stylists ran busy around them and tried to get them ready in time.

Jisung stared at himself in the mirror and somehow the whole thing still seemed surreal to him. Not even a month ago he had been lying in bed with Minho all day and now he was again in the middle of the chaos that had been his life for so long.

As much as he loved to produce music and to touch their fans with their music, he missed Minho as much.

The time they had spent together without them all having to go to work seemed to him like from another life.

He was startled as his phone vibrated.

"Hey baby, I miss you a lot! As soon as you are back, I will handcuff you and never let you go away again! I wish you a lot of fun and even if I'm sure you don't need it, good luck. I love you so much and can't wait to have you in my arms again!"

Some tears ran down Jisung's cheeks before he took a deep breath and got himself back under control.

Sighing, his stylist dabbed the tears from his cheeks and put on some makeup.

Chan grabbed his hand and pressed it gently.

"Soon, little one," Chan murmured and gently stroked his thumb over the back of Jisung's hand.

Jisung nodded.

A short time later they made their way to the stage and even though Jisung had felt uncomfortable and exhausted most of the day, all this was forgotten when they stood on the lifting stage and they were about to stand on stage once again.

"Fighting!"

From then on, the adrenaline took over and the evening passed much faster than expected.

At the end of the concert, they stood on stage, held their hands and let their eyes glide over all the many faces of their fans cheering them.

In such moments, Jisung knew exactly why he took all this upon himself.

He couldn't help but smile happily.

A short time later, they sat incredibly exhausted, but also incredibly happy in the car on the way to the hotel.

"Are we going to eat something together before we go to bed?" Changbin asked and yawned.

"Of course, I've already ordered," Chan said, smiling tiredly.

Jisung was about to fall asleep and had leaned against Chan.

And although the successful concert had felt incredibly good, it was a strange mixture of euphoria, bliss and homesickness for all of them.
