Chapter 4

Time Skip~Seven Years Later
At Fairy Tail...

Laxus's POV

Darn it Mira where are you!? Why can't I find you!!? It has officially been seven years now and the girls still haven't shown back up. After that first year the old man has left the guild more than once and always with an overly cheerful grin. How can he be so happy!? Can't he see six of our girls are missing?! Or worse dead!? Where are you Mira??!

Meanwhile...

Mira's POV

"Achoo!" I let out a heavy sneeze feeling as if someone said my name as the two kids in the kitchen with me giving worrisome glances.

"Are you okay aunt Mira?" my nephew Eli questioned beside me.

"Yes dear I'm fine," I smiled as I ruffed up his spiky hair ever so slightly.

"Are you sure mom?" My little Laura asked my smile never fading as I drew the two of them into a giant hug.

"I'm sure sweetie now how about we finish baking this cake?"

"Yay!!" they cheered as I chuckled at their enthusiasm.

"Cake is manly!" Eli exclaimed his fist raised in the air his glasses close to falling off. So much like his father I thought as Ever's voice was heard from elsewhere in the house.

"Elijah Evan Strauss tell me I didn't hear you say that!" she yelled.

"Sorry mom!" he apologized fixing his glasses before the three of us set back to baking the cake.

Lucy's POV

I chuckled at Ever's annoyed expression, we were sitting in the living room watching over some of the kids while Levy took a much needed nap and Juvia and Erza took the others on a walk through the garden. For the most part we had the boys except for Jeremy who went with his mom and the other girls and of course Eli who is with Mira. The boys - Lewis, Justin and Luke - had been watching a movie when Ever accidentally knocked her elbow against the remote changing it to the news.

"Hey!!" our boys complained however Ever and I weren't paying attention as our gazes caught before turning back to the screen Ever clicking the record button.

"Hey guys," Levy yawned as she walked in the room, "What's..." she trailed off as her brown orbs gazed at the screen, the three of us caught at the sight of the topic the newscasters were focused on.

"It's Fairy Tail.." I whispered teardrops trickling across my cheeks. The dam finally breaking when I lifted my hands up to clear them away a flash of pink on the back of my right hand catching my attention as my guild mark glared back at me. I felt Ever and Levy encircle me tears falling from their own glazed orbs.

Levy's POV

After waking up from my three hour nap I ventured into the living room finding the boys, Evergreen and Lu-chan, "Hey guys." I yawned, "What's..." I trailed off as I noticed what was on the screen.

"It's Fairy Tail.." Lucy whispered tears falling from her chocolate brown eyes. She brought her hand up to wipe them away when she noticed her guild mark making her cry harder. I didn't realize that my own waterfall of tears began until Ever and I grasped Lu in a tight embrace.

"Alright the cake is in the oven... Oh no..." Mira waltzed in with Laura and Eli concern washing over her as she saw our tears, "Children why don't you go out to play in the garden with the rest of the kids and Aunt Erza and Aunt Juvia." She gently shooed them away as they got up and did as she asked. When I glanced up at her I found her sapphire gazed trapped on the screen before she too broke down. Leaving my current hug with Lucy and Ever I embraced Mira as the four of us sobbed together.

Juvia's POV

Erza and I decided to take most of the kids for a walk through the garden that we each partake in the care of. It was quite peaceful until Grace and Nashi started arguing over which flower was better, which then of course got Gabriella to join in. So much like their fathers. I sighed as I moved closer to end it when a voice interrupted me.

"Enough!!!" the two little voices shouted in sync, turning in their direction I found none other than Erika and Jeremy. Just like their mother.. Scary as ever.. I sweat dropped as the thought appeared. The fighting of course stopped for the time being as a stampede of small footsteps headed our way. My gaze locked with Erza's the two of us bewildered as we turned around to find the rest of our children headed straight for us.

"Auntie Erza!!/Mom!!" Laura and Justin exclaimed together the five of them finally reaching us.

"What is wrong brother? Grace is very confused" my daughter stepped in front of me. While I have for the most part returned to speaking in first person  it would seem that Grace picked up my habit of speaking in third person and uses it more often than the other.

"The rest of the Aunties started crying because of something that they saw on the news when Aunt Ever accidentally hit the remote while we were watching a movie" Justin explained as he took large gulps of air along with most of the other boys.

"Yeah, mom even said 'fairy tale' or something like that, I couldn't quite hear her," Lucy's son Luke added. My vision became hazy with my own tears at the mention of our guild as I once again locked eyes with Erza a wistful conversation passing between the two of us before we turned back to our puzzled children.

"Well.. Umm.. Juvia's at a loss of what to tell you.. Except.. Fairy Tail is our old guild." I somehow managed out instinctively returning to third person if only for a moment as Erza knelt down to their level lifting up her sleeve to reveal her navy guild mark.

"Really!? That's so cool I've always wanted to go there! Please mommy!?? I wanna see your old guild!!" Erika gasped pulling against Erza's arm the two of us laughing lightheartedly at her enthusiasm as the others joined in.

"Alright, alright. We will talk about it with your mothers okay? But I'm not making any promises just yet," Erza stated her motherly firmness lacing itself through her voice. They all just grinned nodding sharply before running off into the garden towards the playground Freed and Bickslow helped us build for their second birthday.
