Flashback continues....

      Annika was coming back from her school while shivaay was standing in front of a field where he used to play cricket or other sports alongwith his friends. They all were talking and drinking when his eyes fell on annika and there he lost his heart to the first ever girl in his life. He couldn't take his eyes off her. He had seen someone so beautiful and innocent for the first time so far. He kept looking at her which was noticed by his friends as well. They followed his gaze and noticed annika. A smirk immediately formed on their lips seeing a girl for them to tease but they were forgetting about the consequences.

      'Hayeee! What a masterpiece she is man?' Spoke arnav looking at annika from top to bottom which broke shivaay's daze.

     'Haina! Let's do the honours of making her feel heaven.' It was Annay who looked at her lustly while omru smirked. Shivaay closed his fist tightly in anger. He didn't know why he felt anger rushing to his veins. His friends used to do all this before also. Though he tried to control them from doing anything wrong as he was never a fan of such things but this time it was different. He felt something more but he didn't know what. He didn't like the words masterpiece and all they were using for this unknown yet familiar girl. He felt a strange connection with her as if there was something which was attracting him towards her.

       They were about to move towards her when shivaay stopped them. 'Don't you dare.' He spoke in his dangerous and cold voice while they all looked at him shocked.

     'Shivaay!' Om opened his mouth but stopped seeing shivaay's deadly glare.

      'Just let her go else the consequences won't be good.' He whispered angrily.

     'What has happened to you man? Don't tell me you fell for her in the first sight only.' Rudra spoke finally getting annoyed with all this. Shivaay was tongue tied. Rudra's question made him contemplate about it. Did he really fell for her? Was it love at first sight? Did he love her? But he didn't get any answer to his questions.

      Annika left from there without even realising the commotion going on behind her. She was completely lost in her own thoughts that she didn't even see her surroundings.

       Shivaay just left silently without saying anything. His friends smiled knowingly staring at his retreating figure. Being his best friends they knew him too well. It was the first time shivaay felt something for a girl and they were gonna support him no matter what. They knew he was confused regarding his feelings but they will help him to realise his feelings. If this will give him some happiness then they would definitely do it.......

       Few days passed like this. Shivaay started noticing annika everyday. He would go behind her in the morning till her school and then would drop her home without even making her realise it. He was falling hard for her everyday and he didn't even know. His actions weren't in his control. He started behaving like a lovestruck teenager. He always felt his heartbeat turning erratic with her mere sight. He wondered what he would do in front of her when he was behaving like this at her back.

       Though annika always felt like someone was following her but shivaay didn't let her know about him. He didn't want to get beaten by a school girl that too in front of the whole society. After all it was a matter of his image. Everyone fears him except this fierce girl who was all brave and sensitive at the same time. He got to know everything about her from ishani, his cousin who was in annika's class and her best friend.

       Soon his friends made him realise his feelings and he finally agreed that he liked her. Idiot man still didn't accept that he loved her. Still he agreed for the liking, love wasn't any far though.

        He started chasing her everyday. Even annika noticed it too but she always shrugged it off thinking it to be her illusion. Why would this goon follow a girl like her? Her friends also noticed all this. They teased her as well but she ignored it as usual. She wasn't into such stuff like all those young girls who always roamed around boasting about their boyfriends. She always felt michmichi thinking about all this. She had just one aim and that was to become a successful doctor in her life like her father and to make her parents proud. She wanted to open her own hospital where she could help the poor and the needy. Hence, her full concentration was on her studies nothing else mattered.

      Shivaay finally told about his liking towards annika to ishani. Ishani was shocked at first as he never even looked at a girl forget about liking but then composed herself seeing his nervous face. Yes he was nervous. The biggest goon of the locality who scared people with his presence only was nervous just because of a girl who turned his life upside down since the time he had seen her. He asked ishani to tell annika about it. She was reluctant as she knew annika would never agree for this but agreed seeing his pleading face.

     Next day, ishani tried to tell annika but wasn't able to do so. Sometimes, they had lectures to attend. Sometimes, their friends called them or sometimes, their teachers disturbed them. Ishani was getting irritated with all this. She wasn't out of those who could keep things to her own. She always felt a sudden urge to share her secrets with someone unlike annika who kept everything to herself. She was feeling like she was filled till her throat and she will definitely puke if she didn't let it out.

      She finally dragged annika towards a corner during lunch break. Annika too noticed her eagerness to tell something. They were sitting in canteen of their school.

      'Arey aisa konsa toofan aagya jo tu itni utaavli ho rahi hai bataane ke liye.'('What storm has come that you are so desperate to tell me?') Asked annika as soon as they sat over the benches facing each other.

    'Toofan nahi annika, bohot bada toofan. Agar maine jaldi nahi batayaa na toh yeh mera dimaag kha jayega.'('Not storm annika! A big storm. It will eat my brain if i didn't tell you.') Said ishani a bit overdramatically making annika chuckle.

       'But this shouldn't affect our friendship okay?' Ishani said in a demanding tone pointing a finger at annika who just nodded. Ishani took a deep breath closing her eyes tightly as if she was going to fight a battle. Annika rolled her eyes at the nautanki of this girl.

      'Annika! You remember i told you about my cousin who is like....like my best friend?'

       Annika nodded. 'Hmm! What about him?'

     She again closed her eyes.

    'Actually annika! He nah.....likes you.' She said and clicked her one eye open to see a confused annika who after a minute smiled. Ishani was relieved seeing her smiling.

      'Ohh! Say thank you to him haan. That's very sweet of him to like me.'

      Ishani looked at annika as if she had grown horns. Here she was talking about his brother's feelings and this girl replied thank you. Seriously!

      'Annika! I said he likes you.'

    'Haan toh! I said na say thank you to him.'

     'Arey idiot! Waise walaa like nhi'('It's not that kind of like')

      'Toh phir kaise wala like?'('Then what kind of a like?') Annika raised her eyebrows.

       'Jaise daily soaps or movies mein hero heroine ko like karta hai waise wala like.'('The way hero likes a heroine in daily soaps or movies.')

       Annika looked shocked. This was the first time it was happening with her. She never mixed much with boys and all thought her to be a reserved person. She didn't know how to react but soon burst into fits of laughter.

      'Tera bhai pagal hogya hai. Usko bol apni aankhen check krane ke liye.'('Your brother has gone mad. Ask him to get his eyes' checkup done.') She was still laughing without realising the seriousness in ishani's words. Soon the bell rang and it was time for their lecture. Annika left from there alongwith ishani who was more annoyed now seeing her dumb friend who wasn't understanding anything.

     Little bit annika also knew what was awaiting her in future........
