Two days later.

   Pradeep Roy had never found a murderer this elusive until now. A Psychopath can be tracked down based on his MO and so were murders that happen with motive but when it comes to her, he was stuck.

  
Her victims didnt follow a pattern like that of a psychopath and he couldnt find motive for all their deaths either. Some times she had hinted or revealed the reason on her own but the rest of time he was indeed unable to find a connection between the victims and the motive . 

  And then for the first time after so long he caught a break, she killed someone with the same MO as Swara parents, he must have looked at the crime scene picture a million time trying to find a clue about their deaths that just a single glance at the new crime scene had been enough to make an connection, even then he hadnt been sure, there had been some subtle difference between the two crimes.

       Swara parents death werent calculated ,it was an act of impulse from the stab wounds to the setting everything screamed the killer wasnt a professional but that didnt mean she left any evidence behind but the new crime scene was calculated.

 Each stab wound in the Victims were placed with precision as someone who relished to bring them pain, a crime of passion and motive. When it comes to such crimes the possible suspects mostly start from the family and that was why he made himself visit the funeral and talk with the entire Shukla clan, if he was anyone else the sheer strength in number would have been daunting but he had been waiting for a break so long that he wasnt going to let anything get in his way.

As he drove to Arjun house, he wondered if there was any new changes in their life. He was too occupied in his thoughts that he didnt notice he had been followed not until he almost reached the location ,once he recognized his intent had been to take a u turn and catch her but he made himself drive because if he caught for following him then it would alert her .

  Once she understood his location,she stopped following him and it was yet another break that she didnt want to risk coming face to face with Arjun yet. But that made him worry as well because her entire actions are determined for Arjun and the thought Swara was still alive and living with him would surely make her unhinged if she ever found out.

   Swara was nervous as she continued to pace around the room ever since her Pradeep bhai called Sanskar, she wanted to find her but she also felt scared that she may not be able to recognize her.  " Shona, Come here" ,his voice called out to her and she halted in her tracks.

    Sanskar the man she was hopelessly in love with ,the time and distance should have changed her heart but it never did and now she was living with him and her heart was feeling conflicted all over again.

   She had told herself thousand times that her heart isnt important at the moment not when life's are at stake, she didnt know Sakshi had been Sanskar wife, someone he loved and in a way she blamed herself for not preventing Sakshi death as well or at least able to remember her face ,so they can find justice .

 " What going on " the voice sounded nearer this time and she turned around to collide with him. She wished that she could tell him what was bothering her, when she had lost her memory ,Arjun had been a good friend and person she cared about ,she wont admit to anyone else but a person she was falling for and she had always assumed when her memory returned she would be able to make sense of everything but now her heart was more conflicted than ever. 

" What if i was unable to recognize her Sanskar. What if i failed you yet again" She whispered back to him and was surprised by the flare of anger in his eyes at her words .

" Shona , stop blaming yourself. I am the reason aunt and uncle are dead and you were close to death twice and yet you are blaming yourself and it kills me to see you hurt over it when none of it was your fault.  " his words went a long way to soothe her nervousness and yet it also brought back the pain that she lost her parents because of her .

" Shona, you cant continue to hide beta. Write to him , dont let it remain as a regret to both of you" her mother once told her about Sanskar but she had been adamant that she was right and he was better of without her .

  Now she wish that she heeded to her mother words, would their past have changed if she hadnt been a coward, she had no answer to those questions but Sanskar was right as well that it wouldnt do if she continued to blame herself. 

" I am sorry Sanskar, I am fine.. " She answered back with a smile that he relaxed beside her. Without Asha or dida around, there remained a tension between them. Swara loved both of them when they were strangers now that they are Sanskar family, she realized she loved them more because of it .

     When there was a knock on the door,Sanskar went to answer it, they both had been expecting Pradeep but instead before them stood Ragini and Laksh.

   Sanskar didnt want to see his cousin, ever since he found out Pari and Swara were the same person and his shona had been close to getting married to his cousin, he had been nervous that one day she would remember that she was in love with his cousin.

       But even after she regained her memory two days ago ,she never once asked about laksh or talked about them. He had assumed it was because laksh was married to Ragini, her cousin. Still he didnt relish the thought of them coming face to face this soon.

" Pradeep bhai called us and asked us to be here" Ragini had been telling swara and she was too occupied not to notice the tears in his shona eyes but he understood without her memories Ragini may have been an stranger ,now she was her cousin and it must have hurt Swara to realize Ragini being cautious around her , he waited for her to tell them the truth but she hesitated then her eyes looked towards his cousin and Sanskar heart stopped for a second.

   It shouldn't matter that he had been in love with her once, it shouldn't matter that a part of him always loved her ,it shouldn't matter that he had been close to falling  for her when she was pari because Swara was in love with his cousin and yet it mattered until he only found guilt in her eyes instead of love when it was directed towards his cousin. 

  Fortunately Pradeep arrived next leaving all four of them take a step back from their conflicting emotions and focus on him as they finally had names to go with possible suspects. Sanskar had waited for far too long and yet he should have known it wasn't going to be easy this time around as well.

" Five Sisters , for now we have to focus on the five of them. Here everything i gathered about them in the last two days. It not much but it a start ,you can all take one copy and read it in leisure later and if anyone stood out or if you remember meeting any one of them. Let me know" Pradeep told them and gave each of them a copy of the details of the suspects, it was unusual for police detective to share information with civilians but Sanskar knew Pradeep trusted all of them because everyone in that room had been affected by her and had every intention of finding her.

And when he left the four of them were yet again plunged into silence . Sanskar looked at swara wondering what was going through her mind until it had been Ragini who spoke up leaving him shocked. " We are getting divorced " Ragini told Swara who looked stunned by the information.

" It always been what we decided Swara, It was always supposed to last until we found you but since we don't know  when you memory will return. We decided to do it now " Ragini spoke up and Sanskar knew swara was backed into a corner where she could no longer lie to both of them. 

" I got my memory back Ragini" Swara told her cousin who had been shocked but Sanskar face went to look at his cousin who had been looking at Swara with a hint of hope that crushed Sanskar heart just a little. 

" I know Swara, do you think i cant guess it by now. We grew up together Swara and i know you. " Ragini answered back leaving everyone shocked and he understood Ragini sudden proclamation, she was stepping back from Laksh life for Swara and he had to wonder if he could do the same . Even when his heart was screaming at him to fight for her .
