It's been three years since Lucy, Juvia, Gajeel, Wendy and the exceeds had left the Fairy Tail guild. Some regretted it, others still think that it was them who had tried to kill Lisanna. Either way, the guild had changed.

Erza regretted it all.

Gray tried to ignore it but, it bugged him every day.

Mira missed her conversations with the blonde and the bluenette.

Levy missed talking to the blonde about things and teasing the red-eyed boy.

Natsu was depressed to no end, having lost his blonde best friend and his blue cat. He regretted every single thing he said and what he did to his precious blonde.

What had happened to them? That was the question on most of their minds. Where could they have gone? Were they even still in Fiore? Where they even still alive?

Either way, the guild had changed and, it might never be the same again. Or will it?

Location: Magnolia Station

Several hooded figures came out of the train. Three of them being animals with their tails sticking out and the other six being regular people. All of them were walking towards the same place:

The Fairy Tail guild.

"Do you think that they missed us?" a little girl asked.

"Maybe. I hope that they regretted what they did." a girl said.

"Remember why you're here. Don't fall on the path of darkness." A boy had told them.

"Yo, we're here." Another boy pointed out.

They were in front of the Fairy Tail guild. The two other girls in the group burst the doors open, stopping everyone inside in their tracks.

A girl with long, white hair, who goes by the name of Mirajane came up to them, asking, "May I help you?"

"We want to speak to your master." A girl said.

"He doesn't want to talk with anyone right-"

"We want to speak to him, NOW!"

Mira had paused and led them to Makarov's office. The group, including the three animals, went inside.

"And who are you all?" Makarov asked.

The group pulled down their hoods to reveal Lucy, Juvia, Gajeel, Wendy, Meredy, Jellal and the three exceeds that had left three years earlier.

"Did you miss us, Gramps?" Gajeel asked.

Makarov came and hugged the four, while Meredy and Jellal let them have their moment.

"Well, I'm glad that you all have decided to return to us. Meredy and Jellal, I have to congratulate you two for getting off of the criminal wanted list. You're welcome to join Fairy Tail if you wish." Makarov said.

Meredy smiled and Jellal nodded.

"Well, I guess we must show the family the surprise, shouldn't we?" Makarov smirked.

Makarov came out of his office with the hooded figures. As soon as he got the attention of the guild, he began speaking.

"Can you brats hear me? Anyway, three years ago today, several of our closest nakama left our guild because some people assumed things before confirming them. I've seen people had regret their decision while some have still yet to consider. Either way, it was a great loss and I still have to whip all your asses for it. Anyway, three years later, they have come back and decided to make amends and rejoin our guild, along with some others that came with them." Makarov said as he gave the signal for them to take off their hoods.

Lucy went first. Her blonde hair had gotten longer, about her waist, and her magic had increased. She no longer needs to summon her spirits using keys but, instead, she is using her own will (keeping the keys in case).

Wendy had revealed herself. She had chopped her hair down to her shoulders and her magic had also increased in power. She can now go into the final dragon slayer mode and she can heal just about anything.

Gajeel had gone next. His long, black mane had been chopped off completely and he had several new scars. His magic stayed the same accept, now he has just as much power as Jellal does. He might even be stronger than him.

Juvia had then shown herself. Her blue hair now goes down to her shoulder blades and she learned how to do a few new tricks with water. She can now even heal people with water.

The exceeds had gone down. Pantherlily had gotten a new sword, Happy got a fresh scar on his chin and Carla had become Happy's mate.

Jellal and Meredy also revealed themselves.The pink-haired girl had cut her hair down to her shoulders and Jellal now had a tiny braid through his blue hair.

"Now, I want everyone to welcome back our nakama," Makarov said as he went back to his office.
