SUHAN let out a deep sigh as she finished the last page of the project which was submitted by the staffs for the upcoming survival show for the trainees which will be for forming the new girlgroup. She checked all the portfolios of the trainee and made some feedbacks for the staffs. Oh Siwoo came in with a cup of coffee which Suhan immediately thanked him because she really needed some coffee to fresh up

"Siwoo-ah, inform the PR team to release the statement about the new survival show and release the portfolios of the trainees this saturday"

"Alright"

Siwoo excused himself with the documents as Suhan got up from her seat and went to the couch, stretching herself. Her phone rang and it was Taemu, with a soft smile she picked up the call

"Yes Mr.Kang Taemu?"

" How was your day?"

"It was tiring but now I am doing better"

" I will be away for three days to US with Grandpa for emergency. We are already at the airport because the company abroad messed up so can I entrust Taehyun to you?"

Suhan glanced at the clock and saw it was almost time for Taehyun to finish his class "Alright, I'll pick him up now. Take care of the issue and update me"

"Alright, thank you dear"

"No need haiyaaa.. Safe journey"

Suhan grabbed her bag and closed the computers and her room. "Siwoo-ah , Yumi-ah I'm leaving a bit early today as I need to pick up Taehyun. If there is anything emergency just call me up if not you two handle it alright?"

"Alright! Have a great evening"

"You too"

Suhan quickly made her way to the school where the moment she reached the school, bell rang and the empty surrounding was suddenly filled with many students. Suhan stood near the gate as she check for her cute little bun among the crowd and immediately she found the brown hair with a cute looking fit "Mama!"

Immediately Taehyun ran into Suhan's arm and gave a big hug "Mom.. you came to pick me up? Where's dad?"

"Your dad has to go for some work with your grandpa so you'll be staying with me"

Suhan expected the little guy to be upset as his father left without any notice but rather he started jumping and had a small merry-making session as she look at the 7 year old with a fond smile "Come let's go and grab something to eat and then we'll go to your house and pick some clothes for you then to the Lee household"

"Lets goooooooo!!!" with that he ran towards Suhan car and sat inside the car while Suhan was left alone standing. Kids are indeed energetic.

Suhan kept his school bag at the back and started driving towards KFC which was Taehyun's guilty pleasure and a place which Taemu absolutely detests for his son to eat because he thinks that the gravy foods is not good for the kid. It's not only KFC but any gravy street foods in general.

Taehyun sat down at the chair alone with Suhan's phone in his hand as he watch the recent MV of Han Seojun while Suhan came back with the food tray.

"Maa.. Han Seojun really has a nice voice and it's written that Uncle Suho was the lyricist?"

She took the wet tissue paper and wiped Taehyun's hand "Yes, he made new songs which fitted Seojun's voice and how do you even know all this?"

Taehyun suddenly lifted his small left hand and ran his fingers across his hair "It's because I am Kang Taemu's son" and he ended with a wink. Suhan was baffled with the kid's antics that she just shake her head "Indeed, you can't hide your genes"

"Kang Taemu's son?"

The two turned at their left with the sudden intruder and Suhan's face fell. A lady almost the same age with Suhan stood with an elegant dress , hair curled at the end with the cute beret. She recognized her "Shin Hari-ssi?"

It was Shin Hari. Hari looked at Suhan and then back to Taehyun who looked confused but shifted a bit closer to Suhan.
"Ceo Lee Suhan right?"

Suhan really felt awkward right now. Who on earth will be feeling comfortable to meet the ex-wife of your current boyfriend and not only that, his son is also with you? The biological mom is also in front. Universe is really playing with me today.

"Have a seat Miss Shin, if you don't mind—"

"She's Shin Hari right?" Before Suhan could finish her word, Taehyun spoke first which shocked Hari and Suhan too.

"Taehyun-ah.. you shouldn't address someone older than you like that... You know her right?"

Taehyun let out a small grunt and reached out for Suhan's car key with the chicken bucket "Mom I'll go first, you talk with her"

"Tae..Taehyun-ah"

"No need to show me your feelings now when you were so selfish enough to leave me and dad when we needed you"

If any reporter was there around, it would have been a hot topic for them because everyone has been curious on why Shin Hari left Kang Taemu and her son suddenly after birth. It was a mystery for everyone because the two couples have been the epitome of perfect lovers but their marriage was something they never expected to deteriorate so fast and now the little thunder just spoke like that.

Suhan was shaken to the core because she never expected that a kid like him would knew such words or even express them.

Taehyun grabbed the coke and turned towards Hari who was left speechless like Suhan, but Hari was worse "Thank you for carrying me for nine months and giving life to me though. If not for you I would have not meet my mom, uncle and grandpa"

"Taehyun-ah...."

"Mom please be fast, I've got some projects to finish off later and I would be needing your help"

Now it was only Suhan and Hari, neither of them spoke a word until Hari just let out a sigh "Even my own son dislikes me so much that I couldn't even get a small smile from him....It's karma I guess"

Suhan didn't speak anything because she was too speechless to say anything because of various reasons. Reason one :—Taehyun speaking off his emotions just like an adult ; Reason two — meeting the ex-wife of her current boyfriend ; Reason three — being left alone with the ex-wife.

Hari let out a deep breath and turned towards Suhan with a small smile "Let's not make things awkward between us because of the kids Miss Lee, it's kind of unsettling that we met under such circumstances but I am Shin Hari, nice to meet you"

"I am Lee Suhan, nice to meet you too Miss Shin" Both the ladies exchanged a polite handshake.

"Miss Shin.. Taehyun is still young that's why he is still ignorant of how he speaks and all, I apologize for that"

Hari just chuckled "It's alright Miss Lee, I've always prepared myself for this moment. It was nice meeting you"

Suhan quickly made her way inside the car and found Taehyun taking the chicken and dipping in the mayonnaise like nothing happened. "Taehyun-ah....are you... are you okay?"

"Ma... did you know that mother's love is the biggest example of sacrificial love yet my own biological mother chose to run away for her own happiness without having the second thought of me and my father. She left a bawling child who wasn't even 3 days old yet behind who needed her love and her warmth... how could she cheat me?"

hello luvlies, it's been so long since i last updated :(
i  started staying in boarding which makes me to cut off access to phones and barely have time to use it so i've been lacking with the updates and i even thought of discontinuing this story as i wasn't feeling the story anymore, but inspiration suddenly strikes again so here it goes🤍 i realized how much i missed writing stories... while i'm in my holidays i'll try my best to finish up these book.
