"Start over?"

Suhan nods her head and looked at Taehyun who was all excited among the staff members and eating some macaroons offered by the staffs "Our first date wasn't really smooth so why not we have a try? We are not young anymore , though our personality are a bit different I think we can actually work out if we give a try . What do you say?"

Kang Taemu : ...........

He was just speechless and baffled. He suddenly realized that the lady beside him spoke all the words he had to say and took the initiative to everything and leading him. It kinda hurt his pride as a man but, hey! There is no rule that a woman cannot ask a man out.

Taemu was quiet and thought for a while.

Indeed their first date wasn't that good because they first met and it was chaotic. His narcissistic self and the other narcissistic lady who made him go crazy , never really imagining that she was literally at his level. Their personality didn't have much difference expect for the narcissism but after meeting each other often , working in a project together, unexpected meetings, drinking together like an old friend, opening up about their life and everything.

He knew that she was a tough woman and he can't handle her but somehow he felt attracted to her strong and independent personality. Suhan doesn't have the fear to point out the mistake or tell the truth, even her own feelings and even confessed her feelings with a straight face. Though her straightforward attitude makes him off-guard sometimes, he like it.

He didn't really mind giving it a try but he was just afraid.

Afraid that he will fall to hard and ended up getting hurt in the end because, he don't wanna go through a heartbreak at this rate plus his son was growing up and soon to reach his teen. He want him to experience a mother love but he just can't force someone to be his mother. Step-mom to be exact.

Suhan may like him and interact well with his son but he isn't sure if Suhan is ready to accept Taehyun as her own son. His son means the world to him and won't stand still if anyone does him wrong so, he can't take decisions hastily.

Suhan look at Taemu and saw his face which was calm yet she can clearly see that he was thinking about what she just said. She smiled lightly and tap his shoulders lightly "Kang Taemu-ssi , it's just my proposal for the moment. You can take your time to think too. I know you're thinking about the possibilities and everything because that's natural especially when we are at this adult age but from my side, I'm ready to explore more deep with you"

Taemu smiled and nod his head "Thank you for your understanding Suhan-ssi. It's not that I am rejecting you right now but I think I'll need some days to think about it because if I once come to conclusions and sure of myself, I will never let go of you and stand on my decisions. I took decisions too fast and didn't think well which kinda ruined my life and had a impact on Taehyun. You are a good person and we do match each other but I think I'll need some time to reply to you"

"It's okay. I can understand Taemu-ssi, take your time because I'll be patiently waiting for you but not too long. One year maximum"

They laughed at the little joke and Taemu realized that they need to go back home plus the filming need to continue so he called back Taehyun and decided to leave.

"Aunty Lee, please make sure to come and play with me next weekend"

Suhan smiled warmly at the young guy inside the car and ruffled his hair "Sure little guy, I'll bring some homemade muffins for you"

"I love you Aunty!"

"You love me only because I said that I will bring you muffins?"

"No!"

Taemu laughed at his son behavior then started the engine "Go back home early and take some rest"

"Um. You too... Drive safely"

Suhan waved at Taehyun until their car was no longer at sight then went back inside the set where everyone were getting ready with the new props and new costumes. Soon they started with the filming and everyone went back to their serious mode including Suhan herself who looked so intimidating.

The staffs suddenly felt like that their eyes were fooling them. The Suhan they saw few hours ago was just an imagination , the way she looked happy and was full of smiles around the little boy and then she was back to her boss self gives them goosebumps.

They lowkey prefer the happy Suhan but also the cold and quiet CEO Lee because they are not used with seeing Suhan being so bubbly and teasing the little boy.

Kids really does magic and brings out the new side of a person they never show. Privilege of being a kid.

Soon it was 8 pm when they finally finished the four days filming and the mv was finally done. Cleaning up and everything took another two hours, to congratulate a successful and clean finish the team decided to have a dinner together plus Suhan allowed them to use the company card so naturally everyone was happy because they rarely get to use the company card for team dinner or anything plus the CEO herself agreed to it so all the staffs were ready to enjoy the dinner.

The staffs left one after another to the restaurant where they decided to eat together while Suhan stayed behind and checked the props they used and some meeting through online.

"CEO Lee why don't you join us?"

One of the staff approached the lady who just finished her meeting. Suhan glance at her watch and smiled a bit "I don't think I should join because it will make you all uncomfortable plus I promised my family to have dinner with them so I'll pass this time"

The staff didn't stay longer and left because she knew that once the CEO says she won't budge from her decision. Suhan stretched out herself and walk up to her car then put back her laptops then got on the driver seat.

She turned on the radio then started the car after fastening her seat-belt. Maybe it's a coincidence but the radio was playing Han Seojun's group song which was released few months ago.

The vocals of the tall guy and the music, the lyrics were all perfect which clearly shows why it's still on chart even after months from it's release.

Suhan slowly slide down the window and the fresh air hits her. The road was a bit empty because the set was slightly far from the bustling city so there were less cars but the streetlights, empty roads with few cars passing by, the trees growing besides the footpath looking so fresh and dancing along with the breeze.

She kept her right hand on the steering wheel while her left hand reached out to feel the fresh air and a small arc formed at the corner of her lips. The calm breeze and the music accompanying her gave a sense of relaxation and peace , no disturbance.

As she was driving suddenly she felt like her brakes weren't working. She touched the brake but it wasn't working and Suhan's eyes widen as the speed was increased suddenly when she didn't even step on the accelerator.

She saw the roads wasn't empty as some cars were already there since she was about to reach the city but the sudden brake failure and increase in acceleration made her uneasy.

She remembered that she went to the workshop to check up her car and everything was fine and suddenly this was happening so she could help but started suspecting but the car was getting out of hand so she started to go along with the car and try to get it in control as she tried reaching out her phone and call her brother but the speed was increasing each minute and getting hard to control.

"Who the hell is controlling this car! You all are so fucking dead for this!"

She could only press the horn and apologize to the cars she passed by but the windows and everything weren't working and neither she can reach out her phone.

"Fuck!"

"Am I gonna die? Shit!"

As Suhan cursed and feel like the car was being controlled by someone so all she can do was keep her hands on the steering wheel while trying her best to call the emergency helpline number because she was getting tensed as she was about to reach the city where there will be many cars and can cause accident.

Fear wrapped her whole body as her feet and hand went cold as ice , her breathing became unstable became of the fear. At this moment, she could feel nothing but just fear and her stomach clenched.

Somehow she managed to reach her phone and call the person on the top list and she didn't bother checking who it was.

"Hello?"

Suhan realized it was Han Seojun and she saw that the signal was showing Red light which means she needs to stop and she panicked , her voice was thick and unsteady from fear "Han Seojun immediately call the helpline number! Someone is controlling my car , the brake failed and my car is going at a very fast speed and I am almost reaching the city!!"

"Where are you right now?"

"Yeonggu Lane 2- !!"

Seojun just finished his dinner with the Lee family. They decided to wait for Suhan but she was late so they decided to eat first despite knowing that Suhan would throw a fit. Suho and Seojun just finished the dishes and then ───

He put the phone on speaker which Suho and Jooheon clearly hear everything . Seojun immediately picked up Suho's car keys and head out with panic in his eyes as Suho followed from behind with Jooheon immediately dialing the emergency number but suddenly there was a loud screech of tired having a friction with the road and crashing sounds can be heard.

"Noona!!!"

Seojun could no longer hear anything from Suhan but glass breaking sounds until the phone was cut off.
