She woke with a start, eyes squinting at the bright white walls that engulfed the room she lay in.
For a second, she forgot she had been kidnapped.
She was laying on the floor on her back, staring up at the plain white ceiling.
She felt herself frown at the fact that she had to be stuck in this room.
Has it seriously already been a day or two? Hasn't anyone been sent out to try and look for her? Surely they had...
Grimacing as she sat up, she groaned as she felt and heard multiple pops from her back. She sighed in content, rolling her neck. Gosh, was she stiff.
Pushing onto her feet, she froze when she heard what sounded like footsteps.
She sat back down on the ground, eyeing the door suspiciously. She had not a clue to what time it was, maybe someone has food.
Food sounded pretty good.
She sighed as she looked down at her tummy, before patting it. It growled hungrily.
Damn, fatass..
The door opened right as she put her hand down on her lap. She sat criss crossed, in the middle of the room, facing the door.
In place of the door stood a tall male, who had strange peach colored hair, if that's what you could call it. It was a kind of pinkish orange. It was styled to match perfectly with his round face, and his piercing brown eyes.
In his hand was a plate, which was probably full of food.
She unintentionally eyed the plate more than she probably should have.
The male looked down at her with calculating, wise eyes, almost as if looking into her soul and figuring out if he should kill her on the spot or let her live for a while longer.
He approached her swiftly, which she didn't budge at. She watched him calmly, but she stayed alert.
He held the plate out to her, and she gently took it with her own hands.
A sandwich with slices of apple sat on the plate. He gently set down a glass of water, which he had held in his other hand, down next to her.
He retreated back to the entrance to the door, before leaning against the frame. He watched her silently, not speaking a word.
It was strange, really. Having someone stare at you as you shoved your face full of delicious food was a different and unpleasant feeling.
0/10, would not recommend.
He continued to study her, watching her every twitch, her every move cautiously.
What? Did he think she was gonna take the sandwich and just throw it at his face?
The fuck does he think she is?
A food waster? Because hell no he better believe she would rather eat the damn sandwich than throw it at his egg he-
"You get your own room." The man seethed between his teeth.
She stopped, setting down the now eaten sandwich onto her plate. "I what?" She asked, dumbfounded.
He didn't react to her confusion at all, he only watched her with cold, unforgiving eyes. "You get your own room." He repeated, eyebrow twitching slightly from annoyance. "Taehyung came up to me and told me to give you a room." He sighed through his nose, quite loudly at that. "I don't understand why I even trust that pee brain half the time..", he pinched and rubbed at his temple and bridge of his nose.
"Look. All you need to know is that I agreed to give you a new room." He explained, resting his head on the frame of the door, before watching her slowly begin eating again. "When you're done, you'll follow me and I'll lead you to it."
He practically gave her no choice in the matter.
Oh well, at least she gets an actual bed.
That floor hurt.
She nodded in understanding, before finishing as quickly as she could.
She sat in silence, feeling the gaze of the man on her.
"Call me Rm." He instructed, his brown eyes still watching her steadily and calmly.
She nodded, but didn't look up to meet her gaze.
"What time is it?" She asked, staring down at her hands since she had already finished her food.
"It's around 2. Why?" He asked, looking at her suspiciously.
"Just curious." She shrugged. She glanced up at him, to see him approach as she heard his feet click against the tile. He walked over, and picked up to now empty plate.
He looked at her, before gesturing at her. "Come on. Follow me." He said, as he immediately turned around and made his way out of the room.
She rushed to follow, pushing herself up onto her feet and following close behind him.
He led her up the squeaky stairs she had used earlier that day to try and escape, though she failed miserably. Each stair seemed to creak, mocking her for her defeat. She looked down at the stairs with a disgusted face, but continued to follow Rm closely.
He led her through the room she had seen Jungkook and the stranger hug in, which was a large living room. It had a black, soft looking couch to the wall and another perched next to it, but facing a different direction, to somewhat position the couch to be able to watch the TV too.
She kept following him, fidgeting with her fingers nervously. They passed by Jimin, who eyed her a lot, smiling at her sweetly, before going back to his game of chess he was playing with a black haired male, as her and RM passed the dining room, which was connected to the living room.
Moving towards the other side of the dining room, he led her up some stairs, before taking her towards the end of the hallway.
He opened the door, before moving to the side to let her through. She gladly accepted, before moving through the doorway. She studied the walls and furniture, seeing in the left corner of the room lay a bed with black sheets. There sat a dresser pushed up against the wall opposite from the bed. The walls were a dull, light yellow, and a small walk in closet filled with different types of clothes sat on the right corner of a wall.
RM walks in slightly, before stuffing his hands into his pockets. "This is your room, obviously." He sighed. "It's now," he looked down at his watch, "almost 3 o'clock now. Dinner will be done probably around 7, someone might come up and tell you when dinner is ready." He pointed at the closet. "Jimin, and V went out to buy new clothes for you," he then gestured at the wardrobe. "There's underwear and bras in that, along with women accessories they hand picked. They both have good fashion sense, so you should enjoy the clothes they got you."
"V?" She asked, slightly confused.
"Oh, V is Taehyung." He said, his lips pressed in a straight, agitated line. She could feel the arrogance practically pouring off of him, before he slightly calmed down. "V stands for Victory for him."
"V is for vendetta..," she mumbled slightly, making her way to the closet.
"Huh?" RM asked, to which she whipped around and stared at him, wide eyed.
"Nothing!" She gave jazz hands and a nervous smile. The smile quickly faded, though as she eyed him suspiciously. "But why are you guys suddenly changing how you treat me?" She pointed an accusing finger at him. "First, one of your minions points a fucking gun at my head, while letting Jungkook and Jimin touch me, before knocking me out with it." She hissed.
"Look-," RM started, only for her to cut him off.
"No, I'm not done." She said aggressively. "You then proceed to fucking kidnap me, and throw me into a white chamber that almost drove me mad, and now you're suddenly being nice and giving me a room?" She took a double take, letting her hand fall back to her side. "Not that you guys treated me horribly, but why? Why the sudden change? If you were only going to kidnap me to treat me like a friend, why kidnap me in the first place? I'm confused." She sighed, rubbing her forehead.
RM's eyes narrowed. "We're treating you nicely, more so than we really should be." He sighed heavily through his noise, almost as if he were silently sizing her up. "We don't kidnap, it's not something we've done before. Technically, with my calculations and plan, you aren't our slave nor our prisoner, we kidnapped you so you would help us." He explained, as nicely as possible, running a hand through the front of his hair. "We didn't do it for fun. We have our reasons. If you really are that curious, ask around yourself. You'll find out soon enough, but most likely not from me." He watched her, his brown eyes gentle and welcoming.
She felt herself get lost in the brown sea in his eyes, basking in the welcoming feeling that spread through her body, before she practically yanked herself out of it. "Alright, I understand. But if you want me to help you, I need something out of it myself." She pushed his 'plan' slightly, hoping he'd agree.
RM's eyes became cold, the welcoming look in his eyes vanishing.. "Remember, you're not free. The only thing we really have to offer is your freedom, as long as you help us solve our problem." He set everything out for her, explaining his actions and the gang's. "We know what you are. We researched you more than you think, watched you from afar. We know you're a cop, yes, but we also know you've helped in a few mysterious cases, and all of them were solved and you found the right criminal." He watched her face morph into one of surprise. "So, we know you can do it. So, please, help us find her." He was practically begging now, as he took a step forward.
"Her?" She asked, confused, only to watch him freeze, taking a few steps back, before bumping into the door frame.
"I've said too much." He murmured, eyes slightly wider. "I'll send someone up to get you when dinner is ready." He gave her a sharp nod, before turning to leave.
"Wait!!! Who is she??" She asked desperately, watching his back as he walked away, bumping into another figure.
"Jungkook." She heard them exchange greetings, but RM sounded distant.
"Namjoon." Jungkook's voice was soft and gentle, almost as if he were afraid of shattering Namjoon. Admiration poured from his voice as well. He seemed sad almost, as he made his way to the entrance of her room.
He walked up to her door, before staring through the entrance at her. They locked eyes, while he only smirked, and turned around, walking into the room across from her, his room.
Welp, shit.
I'm screwed.
She sighed, before closing the door of her bedroom. She made her way to the closet, before looking at the choices.
Her eyes almost popped out of her head when she noticed one of the most expensive branding of clothes.
"Gucci?? Holy shit this one shirt is probably 10 times my own value, damn." She clicked her tongue. "Tae has taste??? More like, he's rich as fuck." She whispered, before looking at the shirt closer. "Actually, this shirt is really nice... so he's rich as fuck and has good taste." She placed a hand on her chin. "No way, he can't be that perfect.. there has to be something wrong with him." She seriously doubt it.
God really do be picking favorites, though.
Sighing, she ruffled her own hair, before grabbing skinny jeans and the shirt she had been gazing at. She also grabbed new underwear and the right size bra since Tae and Jimin thought they needed to buy every fricking size.
She tucked in the front of the shirt, but let the back stay. She smiled, as she looked in the mirror attached to the wall. She liked it.
"Yeah, his fashion sense is great. Especially these jackets like gAtDamn." She whispered.
She proceeded to walk around and inspect the room she was staying in, looking for any placed cameras, looking at the window and windowsill for any locks, and pushed around the furniture to where she liked. She also picked out a few pairs of shoes that sat at the bottom of the closet that she liked. Once she was done, she looked at her handiwork, satisfied with how the room looked now.
How long had it taken her to move everything? It feels like forever-
A knock sounded at the door, which she whipped around to stare at. A head popped in, once she had said come in. A bright blue-headed boy popped his head in, a grim look upon his face. His eyes were halfway closed, as dark purple bags accompanied the skin under his eyes. "Hey." He said in a gruff voice. "Dinner's done." He wasted no time to get straight to the point, as he pushed into the room.
She nodded, before walking towards the door and down the stairs, the blue-headed man following her cautiously.
She recognized him as the man that shoved a gun to her head multiple times.
Arriving at the spacious dining room, plates of fruits, vegetables, and some chicken lay in the center of the table. She felt her mouth water slightly, before she gulped harshly and looked at the people already seated. J-hope, Jungkook, Jimin and Tae were already there.
She watched as Tae waved at her slightly, grabbing the attention of Jungkook, who glanced at her slightly.
She heard a loud grunt from the kitchen, as a male with black hair came out with plates and silverware, setting them up, before plopping down. He greeted [Y/n] with a smile, gesturing for her to sit wherever she wanted.
She carefully made her way towards the seat next to Tae, which sat in front of Jimin and J-hope was in front of Taehyung. Jungkook, who remained silent, was on the other side of Taehyung.
The blue-haired male made his way towards Jimin, plopping down in front of Jungkook.
Rm sat at the end of the table after emerging from the stairs as well.
She sat there awkwardly, terrified of the men surrounding her. She felt the hairs on the back of her neck stand up, before she shrunk into herself slightly.
Why was it so tense? And.. weren't J-hope and Tae angry at each other? If they are, why are they sitting in front of eachother..? She could just feel the tension between them, but there was something else that felt off.
Rm kept his eyes on her, watching her carefully and calculating like. He ignored the glares of the blue-haired male on the other end of the table. Rm had sat at the end closest to Jimin and [Y/n]. The black haired male sat on the other end.
Taehyung glanced over at her, tearing away from the glare he and J-hope were exchanging. He gave her a small grin, before everyone looked over at the black haired male, whom turned to [Y/n].
"Hi, welcome." He greeted. "Call me Jin. I hope everyone's been nice here." He smiled softly, watching her expression.
"Oh it's been fun." She mumbled, sarcastically, to which Jin sent a harsh glare at Rm. He looked back at her, his brown gaze steady.
"That's Suga, by the way." Jin informed her, pointing at the blue-haired male, who only grunted in response.
She nodded, before smiling to try and ease the tension, which kinds seemed to work. She could still feel Jimin and Rm's eyes on her, since they hadn't left her when they realized she were there.
She looked at Jimin, who had a reassuring smile on his face.
She looked over when she heard Jin clear his throat quite loudly. "You can.. eat now. I don't why you all are being so awkward." Everyone shot stunned and confused looks at him.
Jungkook was the first to reach forward to fill his plate, and everyone soon followed. She sat awkwardly, not knowing what to do.
Jin smiled softly watching her, before both him and Tae filled up her plate for her to eat.
She eyed the plate suspiciously, but then realized they needed her for something important so there was no reason for them to poison her food. And anyway, all of them are eating from it so..
She gently picked up the fork that sat next to her, what looked like, designer plate full of food. Jin and Tae didn't really know what she liked in terms of food, so they just piled some stuff on. Good thing she liked everything on the plate.
She scooped up some food on her fork, before cautiously and slowly taking a bite of it. Her eyes widened, sparkling.
"Holy shit! This bitch is good!" She said, though she thought she had only said it in her head, before slamming a hand over her mouth in surprise.
Everyone froze, before staring at her in surprise. They all looked at her like she was crazy.
Jimin burst out laughing, his giggles being the only audible thing in the room. Taehyung joined in, as well as Jin.
"Hyung cooks the best out of all of us." Jungkook spoke, obviously talking about Jin. He wasn't smiling or laughing.
She felt her face turn red in embarrassment, before she started to eat in silence, shoving her face full so she could forget anything ever happened.
A snicker could be heard. "I haven't seen anyone else other than Jungkook eat that fast, slow down!" Jin laughed, watching her with slight worry.
"Hyung!" Jungkook cried out, embarrassed as he let his fork slack in his hand.
She ignored them, though as she continued to chew angrily.
Suga angrily stabbed at his food with his fork, as Rm began to clear his throat. "You wanted to know the thing we are having you help us with, right?" He asked, directing his brown eyes over to her.
She nodded in response, as she looked up, signaling for him to continue.
"You're going to help us kill someone important."
She choked on her food.
Taehyung seemed to panic, as he pat her back to try and help her, which only made her flinch, so he retracted his hand.
Suga seemed to stab at his food harder than before.
"I'm sorry, what? You want me to murder someone? You do realize that I'm a cop, right?" She angrily pointed her knife at him, only for Jin to gently pull the knife out of her hand.
Rm went to continue to speak, until Suga pushed the edges of his fork to the plate and dragged it along the metal, making a loud screeching sound. "You wouldn't have to kill anyone if a certain someone hadn't dragged an innocent girl into our lives." He seethed through his teeth, sending a glare at Rm. If looks could kill, Rm would be 10 feet in the ground. "And anyways, that's not the real reason she was kidnapped. You and I both know that." He gestured angrily at Rm.
Rm seemed stunned. "Suga, please listen-",
"No, you listen." Suga snapped, cutting him off. "None of this would be happening if you hadn't decided to drag her home!" He screamed, standing up abruptly, the chair he sat on crashing to the ground.
Her? Who are they talking about?
Everyone seemed frozen, as they processed what was happening. They didn't seem surprised, as if this were a regular thing, but they were too afraid to do anything.
"Suga, please! That was ages ago and you know it was for her own good!" Rm argued, pleading with his eyes for him to calm down, as he, too, stood up.
Taehyung seemed to be the first to move, as he quietly set down his silverware and stood up, and hand pressed gently to her back, before he leaned down to whisper in her ear. "Come on, let's get you to bed." He quickly pulled at her arm, before leading her towards the stairs. She awkwardly shuffled out of the room, their shouting continuing.
"You know damn well it wasn't for her own fucking good!" Suga screamed.
"Hyung! Please, if you would just look at the whole situation-!"
"If it was for her own good, then why is she gone?! Huh?! You decided to drag a girl into our lives, only for her to run away!" A crash was heard, a long with shuffling of feet, as if Suga shoved Rm. "If you're as good of a leader as you say you are, then why in the hell did you let her leave?! Some damn leader you are!"
Everything went silent, as she began to climb the stairs, her eyes boring into Taehyung's broad back.
"Suga, hyung... please." A higher pitched voice, Jimin, cut in. "You know it wasn't his fault." He sounded on the verge of tears.
She heard heavy footsteps pounding on the floor. "Whatever. I'm going to sleep." Suga seethed, as his footsteps became quieter the further he got.
She took in a deep breath, soaking in all she could understand from the conversation.
Taehyung stopped in front of her door, before turning to look at her. He looked down at her with a soft smile, as he opened the door for her. "Goodnight. Please sleep well." He winked at her, before walking away as she wished him goodnight as well.
She quietly closed the door, before making her way to the closet to pull out a pair of pajamas (that conveniently had Gucci on them), before flipping on the bed.
She let out a sigh of content, as she burrowed herself under the covers.
She expected sleep to come to her naturally, especially since she was now in a bed instead of a floor, but her eyes glued themselves onto the wall, wide open, as her thoughts began racing.
So... the girl Rm was talking about ran away? But before then, she had basically kidnapped her as well? From what they had said.. it seemed as if she would've gotten hurt or something if they hadn't..?
Her brain racked itself to exhaustion, as she tried to clear everything up.
She tossed and turned, but her eyes were still wide open.
Maybe the girl and J-hope had a good relationship? From what Taehyung and him were talking about, it seemed like that. So.. why did she leave?
It obviously left them all upset and lost...
She froze, as her ears picked up on soft noises.
Quiet sobs.
Quiet sobs were heard through her door.
She slowly stood up, tiptoeing her way to her door, praying that her door wasn't locked.
She cheered silently as she pushed open the door, before her eyes scanned over the few doors standing near hers.
Slowly approaching each one, she pushed her ear against them, listening intently for the crying noises.
Freezing once she had found it, a white door that was located near her and Jungkook's rooms, she slowly and quietly opened the door to see who it was.
Blonde hair stuck out from black sheets that sat on a neatly made bed. The only places the covers were disturbed were the places around the body of Jimin, who was snuggled into the covers to silence his sobs.
She quickly made her way over to him, footsteps silenced by the rug.
She hesitantly sat down on the bed, before looking over at him, knowing that he felt the shift of the bed frame.
"Jimin?" She whispered, watching him with soft eyes.
He slowly shuffled around under the covers, before sitting up and glancing at her.
He angrily wiped at his eyes, trying to rid of the salty water that fell from them.
"[Y/n]? What are you doing here? You should be sleeping." He hiccuped between every few words, as if he struggled to talk.
"I heard your crying. Are you alrught?" She asked, watching as he looked down at the covers.
He shook his head, before leaning towards her. She flinched slightly, but calmed when he wrapped his arms around her in a warm hug of comfort.
They stayed like that for a few moments, before he pulled away and glanced at his window. He turned to look at her. "Follow me."
Opening the window, they stepped out onto a small part of the roof.
Sighing, Jimin laid down, and stared up at the night sky. He patted the spot next to him, signaling for her to sit down.
She did so gladly, as she laid down and stared up at the night sky as well.
The stars were mesmerizing. Each different little dot that represented a different burning ball of gas seemed to glisten and glow at their own intensity, one being brighter than the other as she watched in amazement.
She never really took time to admire the sparkling dots that decorated the night, and accompanied the moon.
Jimin began to hum to an unknown tune next to her.
Listening to his humming, as he hummed each note beautifully, his angelic and soft voice being carried through the chilly night breeze, she felt her eyes begin to droop, as she found herself in a state of calm.
"Jimin?" She murmured, just barely loud enough for the two of them to hear.
Momentarily stopping his humming, he turned to look at her. "Yeah?"
"Why was I really kidnapped?" She asked, her voice becoming quieter, as she listened to the rustling of the trees. She remember when Suga had mentioned her being kidnapped for a different reason.
It became silent for a few moments, as Jimin turned to look back up at the stars and moon, whom seemed to shine the brightest. "Honestly, I don't know."
With that, he began humming once more, slowly lulling her to sleep.
