Roses pov
It been about three or four years sense that first date with Michael. We are both 18 now. Today we are going on a mission together. Im pretty excited to go on this mission. It was gonna be so much fun at least i think. Fury told me that we had to go retrieve a shield agent who had been kidnaped on one of there missions now i know its nothing major but doing any mission gets me excited especially when i get to go with Michael you see because usally he goes out on solo missions and then i go out on missions with Tina. I have yet to meet Thors niece by the way which is a good thing her and Spider man are still together as well. Michael was waiting outside my bedroom as always just like with our first date. I still have that rose preserved in one of my books and i want to keep it that way. I look at him and we are both wearing our suits under regular clothes so that we blend in. Fury is having a jet fly us to the mission Michael looks more nervous then usual so i slide his hand into mine and give him a kiss on the check to reasure him that everything was gonna be okay. He smiled at me and we walked on the plane together. He is sitting across from me checking all of his arrows and im checking my shield and pistols to make sure everything is all together in the easiest way for me to kick butt. It was a nice relaxing plane ride for me atleast he was still nervous as all get out. It made me feel bad but there wasnt much i could do for him every time i tried it seemed to make him more nervous so i left it be for him to gather his own thoughts. We walked off the plane and i had my shield on my back and my pistol on each leg. We headed towards the base but we got stopped by a couple of there agents. I took one side of them and he took the other. This one girl i was fighting looked really familar but i cant say why she did. At one point i thought they were all going down kind of easy like easier then usual. So i turned to see how he was holding up and he was doing just fine which made me sigh in relief because i was worried he wouldnt have calmed down enough to think clearly to fight clearly. After i finished my part of the agents he called my name i span around and you will not believe what he was doing in the middle of a mission none the less. Where he could get hurt. He was kneeling down and he had a box in his hand. He said to me. "Rose this has been the best relationship i have ever been in and i would love to make it last forever. So Rose will you do me the honnor of being my fiance and future wife." I had tears streaming down my face and i looked around to make sure no agents were coming before hugging him and saying yes. Little did i know until looked up the reason they all went down easy was because they were all my friends and family from shield. I smiled at all of them then Fury came over after we both stood up. Fury says "Sorry for the trickery Rogers but im sure you know how dangerous it would be to have him propose during a real mission based on the face you made before he started speaking about it looking like you were are looking to get hurt that you understand what i am saying." I nod my head. My dad walks over next to fury coming up to me a giving me a hug and one by one the rest of the avengers and my team came over and gave me a hug. Oh the girl that looked familiar yeah the was widow she was wearing make up and stuff to try and hide most of her appearance from me. It worked for the most part and Michael was thanking everyone for participating in his plan. We all boarded tha plane which it now makes sense why we took such a big plane now. I was sitting next to Michael and my dad and Tina was across from me. Everyone was happy talking and giggling along as for me i was nervous and Michael knew it so he wrapped his arm around me and i rested my head on his shoulder staring down at the ring he gave me it was a shield which desribed my life perfectly. Not only was i his shield but or tried to be but it was my weapon and it was me. I felt my eyes grew heavy and i was comforted to sleep by the plane movements. When i woke it it was by Michael and we were at shield. I got off the plane hand in hand with him and everyone was already making wedding plans for my wedding i had to put a stop to this it was day and his day. I whistled loudly and everyone stopped talking. I smiled sweetly at them before saying "Guys im so happy your happy for us but its our day shouldnt we get a say in how it goes." Everyone nodded and Tina said "Could i still design your dress i have the perfect idea and i could make Michael suit to." I look and him and we agree so i say "Thanks Tina that would be great." She smiles and runs off. My dad was taking everyone else suit shoping and widow was taking all the girls to get there dresses. Me i was picking flowers and the cake and michael w as worrying about where it was going to be and when. We decided on a nice little church. As for the rest of the details thats a work in progress.
