Steve's pov

I punched my sand bag and then I remembered the date. I stopped after getting a drink of water and I said out loud "happy birthday rose." There was no one in the gym to hear me. I went back to beating up the sand bags. Then fury said over the ship intercom avengers report to the meeting room. So I got up and left to get there I got there before anyone else. So I pulled out me compass with a picture with Peggy and rose on it. I heard the door open black widow walked over and asked "who are they?" I said "it is my wife Peggy and our beautiful daughter rose. She was only three when i left. She probably doesn't or didn't I should say know me." She said "they both look really happy." I said "yea that was the day me and Peggy took rose to her first ride in a horse and buggy then we went to a park were she ate cotton candy." Black window smiled and said "they look like they really loved you." I nodded then said "please don't tell anybody about them you know more then on there file I don't tony or anyone to laugh and make fun of me for carrying this." She said "my lips are sealed." I was about to say thank you when the rest of the avengers showed up. I mouthed it instead and she smiled and mouthed your welcome. Then fury said "alright tony I need you and dr. Banner to go the lab where you will receive more orders from agent coulson. Black widow I want you in our version of hair and make up you shall get more details once you arrive." And with that all three got up and left to go to the required stations. It has been a few years sense I left ice and I still have no clue what protocol this is. Then fury says to me "captain I want you to just go back to the gym until you get further orders and Thor I want to talk to you still so stay." I followed my orders and went back to the gym. i couldnt stop thinking what it would be like to be with rose and peggy and what we would be doing for roses birthday.  then i sat down on the bench and blacked out.

rose pov

i woke up to a bright light. i said out loud in a small vocie. "can you please turn off the really bright light. it is hurting my eyes." then a male voice said "of course rose. we will turn off the bright light." i flipped out my war reflexies kicked in i stood up in a panic and saw a man i didnt reconise him so i walked over to him then as i got closer. He looked like Howard. so i couldnt filped him like i thought i would. i said "howard what are you doing? do you have my dad! can i see him please." then he said "whoa hold up tiger. thats my dad and second who is your dad and third well arent you going to ask any real questions?" then i say in a real hurry " my dad's captain america and no he can explain it all to me." then a lady walked in that looked simular to my mom. i said "mom? what are you doing here and with tony guy?" then she said "actually i am not your mom and if you want to see your dad. i can take you to him." i smiled so big. then i said "i would love that so much." then she change and i said "i am not in 1942 anymore am i?" she replied "nope  sorry charlie. that is how you guys say it right?" and i say "yes miss it is." then we continued into this room where this man was sitting on a bench. was i dreaming again? was i in heaven with my dad? i have no clue all i know is the next thing i did was like magic to the man cause he stood up and seemed alive. DAD! i screamed. he looked up to see this 13 year old girl running at him and her hugging him. he pulled me back and looed at me and said "rose is that you? you look so much older then the last time i saw you?" i said "yes daddy it is ok if i call you that i mean sense i never really met you that i can remeber" he said "of course you can." then he pulled me back into and hug. then he picked me up and span me around. like a father dose to his daughter when he comes back from the war. when i was younger i always use to wait for my dad to come off the train and say sorry it took me so long i got held up at check out. but he never came. every year i would wait. then my mom say me waiting and said honey what are you doing. i said mom you said daddy got held up at the check out so i am waiting for him and you should be to if you really love him. then she picked me up sense i was only six. started screaming and kicking and punching. then she would whisper he not coming back. when i said checking out i ment he is checking in at heaven sweetie. i stopped puncching and kicking and screaming. then she took me home and set me down. then i left the house and ran to my tree climed up it and went to my branch. then i started crying i screamed why. why him. what my daddy ever do to you why? then i heard a small voice say it i ok he is happy now. then i said how do you know that how do you know he dosnt miss mom or me? then the voice says " because he dosent he has you with him always." then i hopped down from the tree. i saw it wasnt someone nice at all. but the story shall cotinue later because i dont need any sad memories tarnish the good memories i can have with my dad. then he looked at me and said "you ok you seemed to zone out there." then i said "yes i am fine i just remebered when mom told me something." then i sensed behind us a small crowd forming. then i whispered that to him and he said " oh were are my maners rose this is the members of the team i work with this ver here is tony nexted to him is dr. banner then next to him is thor and next to him is hawkeye also last but not least next to him is black widow." then i said " hello it is nice to meet all of you i am Rose." then they all replied it is a pleasure Rose. i smiled.  then we all went to this place my dad told me was called a cafetria. we got food in there my dad showed me five guys it was really good. then i heard tony talking with my dad and the rest of what i was just told are the avengers. i wonder what there talking about. i listened in to see if i could hear them. this is what they said " tony i dont think my child should worry about the avengers until she is used to the 21st centry i mean i never got that but i didnt need that." then tony says "cap she might be the push we need." then thor says "tony respect captain of america wishes." then black widow says "cap this might help understand what the world has become cause she will get to see it all with her own eyes and if it is to much to take in for her we can take her off. but she at least should have a chance to try." then Dr.Banner says "i saw her after she woke up cap she wanted to protect you she asked where you were and when we didnt anwser she almost killed us with her sheild i mean she apoligized. my point is i think she should at least try. also she should get support from her dad. it is obvious your are her faveorite parent." then my dad said "fine but if i see her in trouble i am taking her out of sheild and i will be her parent and protect her without your help."
