OH MY GOD I HAVEN'T UPDATED IN SO LONG (I know bad Mirai ;^;)  I've been so busy plus I had a bit of writer's block the past what 2 weeks?  Idk I don't even remember the last time I updated.  I'm horrible.  (Btw if you commented thank you I love you so much you are my new favorite people) But now I've finally figured out a good chapter.  Kinda violent.  Rated M slightly just a quick warning. 

Izaya-Why do you abuse me so much.
Mirai-Because it is very fun and I enjoy it when Shizu-Chan saves you.
Izaya-I'M NOT A GIRL

Izaya's POV:
         Why did he have to stare at me.  Just why?  I had enough problems of my own and I don't need him distracting me.  The twins just add even more to the nuisance...curse my obviousness.  I opened the laptop and logged into my email.  At the top of the inbox there was an email labeled URGENT.  That was strange...plus the person who sent it was anonymous.  I clicked it open and my eyes widened.

        The email read "Izaya Orihara.  Heed my warning.  As of last week Ran Izumii has returned to Ikebukuro.  His objective is not yet confirmed but rumor is that he is looking for you.  Knowing what he's done to your family I suggest that you hide your twin sisters and yourself.  None of us want our infamous infobroker to be harmed.  Unless you value your life...stay hidden until he leaves.  Signed Your Shadow~" 

No POV:
        Izaya's blood ran cold.  He had no idea who the person that sent this email was but he was thankful for it.  But...how would he handle a cover story that would hide all three of them.  Sure he could think of something quick...but Shinra would probably be suspicious about it sooner or later.  Plus Shizuo is Shinra's supposedly..."best friend".  Shinra will probably get Shizuo to knock their door down. 

         Rushing down the hall he knocked on his sister's door harshly.  The twins opened the door and rubbed their eyes.  "Iza-Nii?  What's wrong?"  Mairu tugged his shirt gently.  "Wrong..." Kururi sensed something was off.  Izaya never knocked on their door unless it was dinner time or school time.  And it was nowhere near 6 yet.  Izaya pushed them in and closed the door.  "Look...Izumii...he's apparently back."  His words were hushed, as if someone were already spying on them.  The twins started to panic and cry.  "B-But I-Izumii...h-he killed Mama and Papa!! Iza-Nii does that mean we're going to die too!?"  Mairu didn't even stop to breathe.  Tears streamed down her face as she remembered the mangled bodies of her parents.  Kururi being the more strong and silent type quickly broke.  Although not as loud as Mairu she was still crying and burying her face into Izaya's chest clearly still scarred and hurting from that memory.

        Izaya hugged them tightly and with a strong voice he spoke. "No.  I'm not going to let them hurt you.  You both get on my nerves half the fucking time but...I love you both.  You're all I have left and if you get tipped away from me...I have nothing to live for."  The twins sniffled and nodded, touched that their big brother's feelings finally came out.  "Hide...?" Kururi whimpered out.  Mairu nodded.  "I don't want to go to school...he might hurt us..."  Izaya found that getting the twins to agree was easier than he thought...but that still left the problem of Shinra and Shizuo.  "I don't know how I'll be getting out of classes...Shinra's stubborn and with a big head like Shizuo...they'll plan something to take me back." 

        The twins suddenly had a lightbulb go off.  "Is...Shizuo the guy you like Iza-Nii?" Mairu's eyes sparkled slightly.  Izaya's eyes widened and a light pink blush spread across his face.  "It is...!" Kururi exclaimed.  "Shut up shut up shut up..."  Izaya was beyond embarrassed.  When did the moment of hiding from Izumii turn into a full blown session of finding out his crush?  The twins grinned and held his hand.  "What if we got your crush to protect you!?! He's probably really strong if you like him nii!!"  Izaya thought for a second.  Would Shizuo...really protect him?  But then again Shizuo does hate Izaya. 

        "He won't protect me you two...He'll probably give me to Izumii if he had the chance.."  Izaya was convinced Shizuo would do that.  He knew the hatred Shizuo harbored for him.  The twins suddenly frowned.  "Why would he do that!? He doesn't hate you or anything right?!"  Mairu refused to believe anyone would do that.  Especially someone her older brother loved.  

       Izaya sighed softly and rubbed their heads.  "Get some sleep."  He stood up and walked out of their room.  The twins looked defeated.  But quickly another idea rose up.  What if they could convince Shizuo to secretly protect their brother.  Maybe they could pull off a sob story so good that he would HAVE to do it.  First step?  Contact Shinra.  He's the key to initiating their plan.

*next day*
         Izaya left relatively early not wanting to wake the twins.  He left a note saying he would be back before 5 so that left the two with a time limit.  As soon as the twins heard the front door close they rushed to Izaya's bedroom.  Heading to the room they looked amazed they had never been in Izaya's room before. The bedroom was neat and looked as if nothing was touched.  Everything looked prim and proper and the twins just wanted to mess it up. "kuru-nee... You take that side ." Mairu pointed at the small dresser.  Mairu took the closet and thus the search begun.

         After about three  hours they had no luck.  It was already 11. They had time but at this rate they were losing hope.  "Where could it be?!"  Mairu pouted and stomped her foot childishly.  A slightly muffled thump resounded in the room.  Kururi looked at what Mairu was stomping on and noticed it was slightly raised. 

        Mairu smiled.  They found it.  Lifting up the plank they found notebooks of different colors and a baby blue pocketbook.  They lifted up the pocketbook and skimmed through it.  A diary?  They placed the book onto the dresser and looked at the other notebooks.  They found Shinra's information and quickly saved it onto their phone.  They checked the time and realized it was almost 12.  That gave them time to read his diary and talk to Shinra.  Placing the notebooks back as well as the plank they cleaned up the bedroom as if it wasn't touched at all.  They were gonna have a lot of fun reading that diary.

         I'm such a bad author for not updating in a while ;^; I'm so sorry.  But hey!! I'll be updating a special chapter ;) Who wants to know what Izaya's been writing in that little pocketbook of his?  And who was that anonymous guy who emailed Izaya?!  Lol keep reading and comment more on what I should improve on!
