Nobody's POV:
Izaya glared at the blaring alarm. Why he set it up to sound at 6 am he had no idea. He groaned softly and slammed a hand down on the annoying box. Staring up at the ceiling for a few minutes. "I'm not gonna break down...I'm not gonna cry...it's been at least 2 years... It's time to move on..."

He willed himself to sit up on his bed and rubbed his eyes. "Still early...I should start breakfast and pack up the beach stuff." Izaya padded out of his bedroom and into the kitchen. Soft snores could be heard in the other bedroom. The twins were still dead asleep. He opened the fridge and pulled out the bacon, eggs, and milk.

He sighed softly. "Why am I such a big baby..." a soft scuffle could be heard from behind him. "Nii isn't a baby...." Kururi had just gotten out of bed and heard her brother mumble those words. She kicked the floor lightly and kept her hands behind her back. Izaya turned off the stove and slowly walked to her. "You're up early. What's wrong?" Kururi shrugged and buried her head into Izaya's chest.

Izaya was taken off guard by the gesture but hugged her tightly. "Hey...we're gonna have fun ok? It's just me, you, Mairu and Shizuo. It'll be like old times." Kururi nodded quietly and gripped his shirt. "Kaa-San and Tou-San would want us to move on ok?" Kururi looked up at him. "Ok..." She slowly pulled away and looked back at her bedroom door. Izaya ruffled her hair. "Go wake your sister up then take a shower. You both stink like trash." Kururi gave a small smile at her brother's teasing and quickly went back to her bedroom.

Izaya shook his head when he heard Mairu screaming and whining. Kururi burst out of the bedroom once again but this time dragging Mairu by the leg. Izaya checked the time and proceeded to set the table. "I suppose while I wait I could pack everything." As soon as he got into his bedroom he heard his phone go off with the text ringtone.

He flopped on the bed and reached for the small phone.

[Shizu-Chan ;P : Oi. Are you awake yet?]

Izaya rolled his eyes. You know how many couples long for that sweet good morning text? Yea they weren't that couple. Most of the good mornings consisted of "Oi. Hurry up" rather than "Good morning, I missed you".

[Iza-Flea: Well good morning to you too you big ass lug.]

Shizuo smirked. Even after they started going out, annoying him just added onto the pleasure and satisfaction. Shizuo dried his hair and stood in the middle of the kitchen.

(Little note: This point is gonna be a texting portion. )

[Shizu-Chan ;P : It's about 7:30. Just had to make sure you weren't sleeping in and ditching me. After all it was your plan.]

[Iza-Flea: Hardy har har. Unlike you I actually wake up on time and don't cling to the bed like it's my life line. What do I bring today? I forgot what happens at a beach.]

[Shizu-Chan ;P : You're joking right? You forgot what happens at a beach? You swim and lie down on the shitty sand. What's not to know?]

[Iza-Flea: I didn't mean it like that =_=....I meant more like what do I bring. Sunscreen? Umbrellas? And I'll have you know I CAN'T SWIM.]

[Shizu-Chan ;P :What do you mean you can't swim!? You're 15 and you can't SWIM!?]

[Iza-Flea: I always had these little floaty thingies ok! I can't find them. I just sink to the bottom like a rock.]

[Shizu-Chan ;P : Ugh fine. I'll buy you some on the way there. Jeez. You make the plan to go to a beach yet can't swim. What is this.]

[Iza-Flea: うるさい! (SHUT UP) I'll text you when we're all ready. Ass.]

[Shizu-Chan ;P: Love you too Flea.]

[Iza-Flea:you...said I love you...]

[Shizu-Chan ;P: What I can't say it? Fine I take it back.]

[Iza-Flea:N-No! I...love you too.]

[Shizu-Chan ;P: Kay. I'll pick you up later. Seeya.]

(Okie dokie cue normalness or whatever)

Izaya grinned. Shizuo had never really said I love you. This was like...a dream come true! Izaya kept on smiling while packing and jumped around a couple times.

Meanwhile Shizuo just blushed hard and started packing. "Idiot...why did you have to go an do that..."

Izaya was happy. Even if the twins took an hour to pick a bikini. Well that's what Izaya thought they were doing. He quickly sent a message to Shizuo and walked downstairs with the twins.

Shizuo parked in front of the apartment and waited. "SHIZU-NIIII!!!!" Mairu screamed and ran towards the car. Izaya shook his head. "Mairu! Help us carry your stuff!" Mairu rushed back and took her things. Shizuo lowered the car window and pulled out a dolphin floatie. "This good?" Izaya pouted. "I like Whales...." Shizuo rolled his eyes. "You didn't tell me. Just get in." Izaya continued to pout while getting into the passengers seat in the front.

The twins snickered secretly and pulled out a picture. It was of Izaya when he was 6 and he was wearing two floaties on his arms and a whale tube while crying. The perfect thing to show Shizuo today.

Shizuo started up the car again. "Which beach are we going to?" Izaya looked at the twins. "Do you think we should guys?" Mairu and Kururi nodded. "We love that beach!!! It has EVERYTHING!" Izaya smiled softly. "The family beach. Just at the edge of Ikebukuro. I'll tell you where to go." Shizuo nodded and drove off.

After about 2 hours of bickering and I'm sorry's they finally arrived at the beach. It was empty save for a few people taking strolls and pictures of the view. Shizuo parked near the entrance and took in the sight. It really was a beautiful place.

Izaya felt his eyes sting slightly with salty tears and he choked them back. Mairu and Kururi smiled ar each other and quickly hugged their older brother. "Nii let's go dig for seashells again!" Izaya laughed softly. "Hai...hai. go ahead and find us a spot ok...?" The twins saluted and ran out of the car. Shizuo quickly wrapped his arms around Izaya and mumbled softly. "Be strong...I'm here." Izaya held it all back and smiled. "Ikou Shizu-Chan. I'm ready to learn!"

Shizuo chuckled. "That's more like it you baby flea..." Izaya turned red. "I'M NOT A BABY FLEAAAA!!!" Shizuo ran out of the car and down to the beach with Izaya hot on his tail. Usually it would be Shizuo chasing Izaya. Funny huh? Izaya ran and tackled him down with as much strength as he could. Shizuo stayed upright and chuckled.

Izaya bit his neck and growled cutely. Mairu and Kururi clung to Izaya's legs leaving Shizuo to carry all three of them. They truly were a picture perfect family. And after meeting Shizuo. They finally had a reason to move on.
