No, no, no! I couldn't have lost my sheet music. I just, couldn't have! It took me so long to compose. I put my heart and soul into the song.

Hi there! I'm Ace! I'm just your average band geek. Although everyone in my class says I'm advanced. Because 'I wrote my own music' and I won 'best male band student' three times in a row. But I'd say I'm average. Enough about myself, I need to find my music!

I searched the whole band room for my music. See it took me ages to write that music. I had always wanted to make my own music and play it too. But as soon as I finish composing the music and get ready to show it to my director to see if it was ok. I lose it! I don't normally leave the comfort of the band room. I only leave when necessary. I spend my time before first period actually starts in there. I spend my lunch time in there because I am very antisocial. Any free time I have I spent in the band room. I had everything I needed in my band locker. My violin, trumpet, and my clarinet. I had extra reeds, snacks, water bottles, chapstick. Everything you needed. Mr.Flynn didn't care I was in there. He said he got how I acted, he too was a shy kid.

After a long while of searching every locker in the room, my best friend--Nia-- walked up to me.

"Come on Ace! You've left me alone for days. It's boring without you." She whined pretending to faint. Nia was a very overly dramatic person. But she was my best friend since kindergarten. "Maybe Levi has it~." She said a flirtatious tone to her voice. She knew I had a crush on him. She also threw it in my face often. But she did keep it a secret from everyone else, which I was thankful for.

"Stop it, Nia. You know I don't like you saying that out loud." I said looking around to make sure that no one heard.

"Ace! Will you stop panicking over him?!? All you ever do is avoid him. Then won't shut up about him. How about you talk to him?" She said shoving me towards the door of the band room. It was slowly starting to fill up with kids. Class was about to start and sure enough there walked in Levi. Smiling his beautiful white teeth, laughing at a joke Lee had told him. Lee was his best friend.

"Hey, Ace! Nia!" He waved as he walked past us, I could smell his cologne coming off of him. "H-hey Levi!" I responded silently cursing myself for stuttering. I watched as he and Lee walked to their lockers getting their instruments.

I heard Nia's soft laugh and she walked away getting her flute and sitting down. I walked up to Mr.Flynn.

"Hey, Mr.Flynn? What do you want me to play today?" I asked since I could play many but only owned a few. "How about you play your clarinet today. I just got new sheet music for you all today and I think playing it on your clarinet will be the hardest. Trumpet the second hardest if you want something a little easier." I nodded and walked to my locker grabbing my clarinet and book out of my locker. I started walking to my seat when I heard my name called by Mr.Flynn. I looked up to see him talking to Levi, smirking. Why was he talking to Levi about me while smirking? I was starting to get scared of Mr. Flynn. Levi started making his way towards me with a smile on his face.

"Hey, Ace! I kind of left my clarinet book at home. So Mr. Flynn said that you wouldn't mind sharing with me. I hope that's ok." He said nervously, looking down at his feet.

I looked towards Mr. Flynn. My eyes as wide as saucers. All he did was wink at me. He. . . winked? Why in the world would Mr. Flynn wink at me?!? Did he somehow know that I had a slight crush on Levi? Then he continued to tell me, in sign language, 'Share the book. He likes you too! I know you like him.'

Which I responded with. 'How do you know that?!? I only told my best friend.'

'I just do. Now share your book!"
