Cath took a long stare at Levi. He strained his eyes, his knuckles white from his death grip on the wheel. "Levi," Cath reassured, putting her hand on his denim lap. "Cather, I really need to focus on the road!" he exclaimed. Cath yanked her hand back quickly. She never saw Levi this tense.
She looked out the window. The rain was pouring and you could barely make out what was in front of you. The drive to Levi's farm didn't start off right. She was stuck in a massive storm with an angry man and she couldn't do anything about it. She took a deep sigh, and slid down the leather seat.
Levi sighed, running one hand through his hair. The car began to swerve, so he threw both hands back on the wheel. He looked over at Cath. Her eyes were filled with something different. It was a masking dim, it was sadnesses. "Cath," he began, "I'm sorry. It's just, the rain. I can't see the road."
Cath smiled. "It's okay, babe," she said with forgiveness. Levi smiled, eyes still on the road. Hours passed, but the rain still poured. Finally they arrived at the small ranch.
Levi was suddenly filled with more excitement; he threw open the door and ran out in the rain. He stood in the driveway, his hands on his hips, looking at the house. The rain soaked his clothes, his hair matted on his forehead.
Then, there was a loud clatter. 4 girls sprawled out of the house, throwing themselves at Levi. He fell back, lying on the black-top. The girls toppled him, asking questions and cheering. Levi squirmed out of their clutch; sitting on the blacktop.
"Girls, girls, girls," Levi chucked, leading them inside. Cath collected her things and climbed out of the car, pausing the girl's cheer of seeing Levi.
It's went quiet; and all you could hear was the rain patter and confused murmur of the girls.
Cath just then regretted coming to Levi's ranch.
