Swara's POV-

I was woken up by knocking the the door.

" Go away." I shouted.

" Swara...the lunch is done. Please come and eat." I heard someone say.

" Will be there in 2 mintutes" I shouted and went back to sleep.

True to my word, I was down in the dining room soon because I was very hungry.

The housekeeper served food and we ate in complete silence because I was too sleepy to say anything.

I think my spirit animal is Panda!

" Swara, there is some emergency at work. I'll leave." I heard Aditya say.

I had not noticed till now that he was in his work wear.

" What do you even do that you have to go office on Sunday?" I asked, really curious to know.

" You don't know what I do?" He asked, a little taken aback.

" No...How would I know genius? You never mentioned it." I remarked.

" I have an information technology company." He told me.

Oh! He has his own company! That's....woahh!

" That means you were a science student...hmm..interesting." I remarked.

He chuckled.

" No...I had commerce too. I hire people to do the work and supervise the management and operations." He confessed.

" Oh." Was my reply.

" Bye. I'll see you in the evening." He said.

" Bye." I replied, nodding.

Then I went back to my room and saw 3 missed call of Aryan so I called back.

" S, thank god you called back. Now listen, you are required to fill the online admission form on the college's website and then fill the college's admission form. There was a mail regarding it and I know that you never check your mails!" He informed.

" Okay. Thank you my saviour!" I replied and hung up.

It took me another forty-five minutes to fill the online form. It was so detailed!

After that, I called Aryan again.

" Hey, I am done filling the form. What about you?" I asked.

" I was already done long back S." He said.

" Good. Then at what time tomorrow?" I questioned.

" At 11." He said and I agreed.

Then I collected all my documents and piled them together in a folder and I was done.

It was 5 o'clock that I was free so I decided to go to the hall and watch TV.

" Jesus Christ!! He has no cartoon channel subscribed! So immature of him!" I shouted.

Now what do I do!?

The I went to the internet TV and his netflix id was already logged in.

Ha! So stupid of him. Does he not know that you should not keep his account logged in! Now people like me can take advantage of it!

I started watching The Boss Baby.

One episode after another and berserk I had gone. I LOVED it!

" Wow! I never thought that I'd get a netflix id for someone to watch cartoon on it." I heard a voice from the back of the couch.

I turned to look that Mr. Husband had returned home.

" Your fault....you kept your id logged in on the TV." I remarked sarcastically.

" I never use netflix, it was Kritika." He said as his face hardened.

" Oh." I said and closed the television.

" I'll heat the dinner while you go and change." I said and walked into the kitchen.

" You sure you'll be able to manage? I can do it." He said, looking unsure of me.

" Please....I know how to reheat food. I've lived in hostel for so long....give me some credit!" I replied, rolling my eyes.

" If you say so." He said and walked into his room.

During my hostel life, I had learnt to cook maggi and coffee and I deserved credit for that for god's sake!

I reheated the food and served it in two plates.

It was mashed potatoes with rotis. I hated it but I was veryy hungry so I had no option but to eat it.

Aditya walked down into the dining room and we had dinner. 

" I am going to go watch TV. Bye." I said as I was done eating but he stopped me by holding my wrist.

" No Swara. I know you had been watching television since around 5 to 9 which is too much!" He schooled me.

" Seriously! Now you are going to keep a check on how much TV I watch? That's such a parent thing to do! And how do you even know that I had been watching TV for that long? Are there cameras here somewhere?" I asked, creeped out.

" No...there are no cameras but I get a notification on my phone because all the gadgets here are connected to my phone." He clarified and I visibly calmed down.

" So no CCTV cameras?" I cross questioned.

" No." He replied, chuckling.

" So that mean, if by mistake I destroy your house in anger, no one will get to know?" I asked, smirking.

" The alarms will go off. Also, why would you do that to our house? Would that not be breach of the truce contract?" He asked, raising an eyebrow.

He had shut me up because I had nothing to say.

" Now leave my hand and let me go!" I whined.

" No Swara....no TV now." I said.

I rolled my eyes.

" Fine....I am going to sleep. Good night." I replied and he let my hand go.

" Good night." He greeted back and then I walked back to my room.

Hahahahahaha! I have my own laptop, phone, earphones, netflix id, amazon prime id and hotstar VIP id here. How will he stop me!

I locked the room, closed the lights and got into the blanket with my laptop and earphones and logged into netflix to continue Boss Baby.

I again lost the track of time and this time, it was thirst that made me look at the time.

It was 2.

Shit! I really should be sleeping now!

I sneaked outside my room to have water because I had forgot to carry a bottle here while coming to pretending to sleep.

In the hall, Aditya was still working on his laptop.

Fuck water! Let me just tiptoe back to my room before he sees me and starts with the round 2 of CONVERSATION (LECTURE) WITH ADITYA KAPOOR, the man with a lot of money and also arrogant asshole.

He looked away from his laptop to me before I could sneak out.

" You were not sleeping? Were you?" He asked, looking me straight into my eyes.

" I was sleeping. I got thirsty so I had to come down for water!" I lied.

" No, you did not sleep. Your eyes are red and swollen. Were you on screen with the lights off?" He asked.

" I told you....I was sleeping only." I lied again.

" White lies." He remarked.

I rolled my eyes and walked into the kitchen and had water.

" Swara, you are going to get glasses soon." He said.

" I already have glassed for your information." I told him.

" Then...." He started but I closed my ears with my fingers.

" LA LA LA LA LA." I started singing and walked upstairs back to my room.

I was really in no mood for another lecture at 2 in the night. Also, what kind of workaholic person is he? Working till 2 and going to work on Sunday!

I was really sleepy so I shut down the laptop and let sleep consume me.

The next day, my phone woke me up.

" Hello." I said in sleep.

" Swara....wake up. We need to reach college for admission process at 11 and it's already 10." It was Tanya.

" Bro....it'll take me fifteen minutes to reach there. When you guys are about to reach, just message me and I'll start." I said.

" But wake up and get ready na Swara!" She exclaimed.

She also made sure that I was up when she hung up. Having no other option, I got u from the bed, freshened up and got ready.

Swara's look-

Taking the folder, I walked downstairs.

Surprisingly, Aditya was still here.

" No office?" I asked him.

" Thank go he did not leave or else I would I had to go to his office for his signatures on a few college papers! So irresponsible of you Swara! You should have got this done yesterday only instead of watching so much Boss Baby!" I chided myself.

" You do realize that you are talking to yourself right?" He said, looking at me funnily.

" Yes....so what? I sometimes need expert advise." I confessed making me to look less of a fool.

He laughed at my explaination.

" Sure." He remarked.

"  Now to answer your question, I had a breakfast meeting. Just got back. Will leave in ten minutes." He said, and I nodded.

" Okay...before you leave, please sign on these papers." I said, giving them to him.

He read them and signed.

" The driver will drop you to the college." Aditya offered.

" No, no. I'll take a cab." I insisted.

" Swara....go now. Let's not argue over this everytime?" He said, sighing.

" Fine. Bye." I said, stomping my feet and went out.

" Bye." I heard his faint voice.

I had reached college by 10:55 and both Aryan and Tanya were still not there so I called Aryan.

" Where are you guys?" I asked Tanya.

" Reaching in two minutes." She said and I hung up.

True to her word, they were here soon and we went in to get the admission done.

The admissions were done in about two hours and we were free to go.

" Guys, let's go for a movie?" Tanya asked.

" Yess!" I replied and so did Aryan.

Aryan got on his bike and I dragged Tanya along with me in the car.

" Wow Swara.... your husband seems to be damn rich!" She exclaimed.

" Yes....owns a freaking company!" I told her.

" That's amazing." She replied and then the topic of conversation changed from my husband to how we were going to have amazing time in college! 

As we reached the mall, I met mom and dad too.

" Mom." I said, patting her shoulder.

" Swara beta? What are you doing here?" She asked, turning at me.

" My friends and I decided to come here to watch a movie." I told her, introducing Tanya to her. They already knew Aryan because of the wedding.

" Great beta. Enjoy." She said, happily.

" Shopping?" I asked, looking dad's hand which had so many shopping bags.

" Yes....and I have got loads of things for you. Come home for dinner today and I'll show you." She tempted me.

" Thank you so much mom but you did not have to do this." I replied.

" Nonsense....You are our daughter. Despite of us being unfair to you, of which we are sorry of, you are lovely to be around." Dad replied and I side hugged him and hugged mom.

" Noe you guys go or you'll miss the movie. I'll call Adi and ask him if he is free to come home for dinner today." She said and I nodded.

After bidding bye, we entered the movie theatre and Aryan got us popcorns.

The movie was done and it was getting late so we said goodbye to each other and then I started for home.

Now the problem was that I had left the house alone many times but never once entered alone so I had no clue about the security passcode!

" Shit! What is the need of this now? Aren't the guards enough!?" I yelled in frustration.

Having no other option, I decided to call him.

" Swara...I'm in the middle of a very important conference. I'll call you later." He said, hanging up.

WHAT THE DUCK! I mean, WHAT THE F*CK!!

" He really is an asshole!" I whispered to myself and then went to the lawn to sit.

" Such a dumb husband I have got. Could he not tell me the pass code!" I talked to myself.

I had reached here at 6:30 and now it was 7:30 when I saw a car entering the gate with Aditya driving it.

What a shit! Couldn't he have called back?

After parking, he saw me and walked into the lawn.

" Swara? What are you doing here. Were you bored of watching your cartoons?" He asked, smirking.

" You are so dumb! Why did you not call me back when you were free?" I asked him.

Then he realized.

" Oh yes! What did you wanted to talk to me about?" He asked.

" The pass code to enter!" I exclaimed and then his eyes widened in shock.

" I am sorry. It completely slipped my mind." I said, sounding apologetic.

" Fine...it was an honest mistake so I forgive you. Now tell me what it is?" I asked.

" 0527." He replied.

" Let's go in." He said and I followed him.

" Admission done?" He asked as he loosened his tie and sat on the couch.

" Yes. You want water?" I asked him.

" Yes....thank you." He replied.

" No no....I should be the one saying thank you because you are going to get one glass for me too." I said, dropping on the second couch, smirking.

He looked at me and with his amused eyes.

Was I a joker to him? Because without even realizing, I make him amused a lot of times!

He then got up and went to the kitchen to grab water for both of us.

" Thanks." I said as he handed the glass over to me.

" For how long were you standing out?" He asked me.

" One hour." I told him.

" Admissions took so long?" He asked, surprised.

" No. I went for a movie with Tanya and Aryan. Did mom not tell you?" I asked, a little surprised.

" How would mom know about it? Talking of her, we need to go home for dinner." He said.

" Also, if you go out somewhere....just drop a message or something so that I know where you are." He added. Not wanting to argue, I agreed for now.

" I already know that because I met mom and dad in the mall today. That's why I thought that she must have told you." I clarified.

He nodded.

" We'll leave in fifteen minutes once I freshen up." He said and walked into his room.

I , too went to freshen up and change.

As I was doing my hair, I heard a knock on the door.

" Come in." I replied as I was done tying the rubber band. I had wore a while and black T-shirt, tucking it in a mustard long skirt.

Swara's Look-

" Let's go?" Aditya asked, walking in.

" Woahh! What did you do to this room?" He asked, looking around.

" Renovated. It was so boring!" I exclaimed.

" You did all of this alone?" He questioned again and I nodded positively.

" Not bad." He remarked.

" Well....if you want me to renovate your whole house, I am going to charge fee. There is nothing called free in this world." I said, jokingly.

" You'll make a shrewd businesswoman." He said, still looking around the room.

" Well I am a cunning person." I cracked a joke and he did laugh.

See, I am really a joker I guess.....maybe I'll make a good stand up comedian too? Who knows!?
