Swara's POV-

It was twelve in the night and I was just tossing and turning on the bed, waiting for Aditya to get back. Finally, when I couldn't wait anymore, I decided to go to his office. I know that I was being impulsive but it was something tonight, there were very strange vibes and feelings that I was getting. It was a feeling of being afraid.

I just went to the washroom, washed my face and hailed a cab. Aditya owns more than ten cars for some stupid reason but I hadn't learnt driving yet.

As I took the elevator to the twentieth floor, where it was his office, I tried to think of an excuse so as why I was here but unfortunately couldn't come up with anything. Then I just decided to screw it and make something on the spot.

I quietly opened the door of his cabin but he was not on his desk, when I looked around, I saw his back towards me and a girl very very near to him. It looked like they were.....kissing?

I did manage to get a sight of the face of the girl and it was again my sister, Kritika and she did see me. She saw me standing at the door and gave me a crooked smile, a sick one at that.

Not able to comprehend what was going on or how to react, I immediately walked out of the office and hailed a cab back to home.

" Madam, are you okay?" The cab driver asked, looking at me.

That was when I realized that I had been crying because I felt the tears. I was numb, hurt and dissapointed.

" Haan bhaiya. I am okay." I replied to him, immediately wiping my tears away.

There was just one thing going in my mind that time. If Aditya wanted to get back to Kritika di, why not tell me directly and go on to cheat? I had given him ample opportunities to get free from this marriage and go back to her but everytime he said that he did not want that.

As for Kritika di, I don't think I'd ever be able to reconcile with her ever and nor will I ever show my face to Aditya. I will run far away from here. Out of everyone's life for good.

If Aditya and Kritika di want to get married, then be so. They both deserve each other.

" Madam, we are here." The driver said.

" Bhaiya, can you please wait for me here. I'll be back in fifteen minutes and then can you drop me to the airport?" I asked him and he nodded.

I immediately went inside, packed my stuff, took my money and my debit card and then wrote a note for Aditya. Luckily, I had a copy on the divorce papers which I had saved.

Then I kept the credit card that he had given me on the nightstand along with this letter and finally walked out of the room giving it a last glance with tears flowing out of my eyes. Walking out, there was an immeasurable pain in my heart to walk away like this but it was for the best. For him and for me.

In about god knows how much time, I reached the airport and took a ticket for New Delhi. From there, I'll get a visa made to London and go far away. I had already discarded my sim off and applied for my TC online from college so that later on I won't face an issue. I did all of this waiting for my flight.

Soon, the boarding announcement was made and closed my eyes for a split second, trying to leave everything behind and start afresh.

.................

I was in New Delhi. I took a hotel room and then freshened up and took a pre paid sim and a second hand phone and then went to the visa office to apply to various universities in London.

Two weeks passed by and I was finally accepted in university of west London. There was an online interview and all the process was complete. I was there on full scholarship for the duration of four years.

As I got the acceptance, I applied for the student visa and that whole process took another one week. I was still staying at the hotel.

As everything was done, I booked a ticket to London and flew away, in the hope of starting a fresh life.

There was still that numbness and hence, there was nothing I was feeling. Absolutely nothing. I didn't even give one freaking care about mumma papa and mom dad. I just ran away.

...................................

Aditya's POV-

" Kritika. How fucking dare you." I pushed  her away from me. She had gone rogue and senseless completely.

" Tell me that you enjoyed this Adi. Tell me that you enjoyed this kiss." She shouted, steeping towards me again and started laughing loudly.

" What the fuck is your problem? You have completely lost your mind? How did you even get out of the jail?" I asked, grabbing her upper arm, dragging her outside the office.

" You are my problem. Why don't you understand that I love you?" She screamed.

Getting her outside, my PA had already dialed the police when he informed me of the break in at the office.

The mental asylum was also called and they took her with them.

" Sir, there is no intel missing from the company. Everything has been thoroughly checked." One of the employees informed me and I nodded, dismissing them for the night.

As I drove back to home and walked to the room, Swara was no one in sight. I switched the lights on and called for her, knocking the washroom but there was no response.

I searched through the whole house but she was no where to be found and then I went back to my room to check the room's balcony once when I saw a note at the nightstand along with the credit card and a document?

Aditya,

I saw you with Kritika di today and finally realized that you both are meant to be. I am signing these divorce papers. Please submit them in the court and you will finally be free from this unwanted relationship. Just know that I don't blame you for anything and I enjoyed being your namesake wife for these beautiful eight months. I bless you all the happiness in the life. I will make sure that our paths never cross in life ever again so that you have a guilt free life ahead.

Swara :)

I read the note over and over again several times because I couldn't believe it whenever I read it.

She went away. Just like that. Without giving me a chance to explain, without talking. She just walked away from me, from this marriage and everything.

Picking the divorce papers, I tore them one by one in pure rage.

" How could you Swara? Why do you always do impulsive things like these and today you just took all if it so far! Why!?" I shouted like she was listening to me.

She couldn't have gone very far. I immediately went down to the watchman only to find him sleeping. Not having the time to talk to him, I immediately called the police commissioner.

He assured me to do something, find her but no, weeks went by, and then months but she was nowhere to be found.

Kritika, it was all because of her that my marriage was destroyed and she will fucking pay for what she did. Swara, on the other hand will have to face me once I find her and she bloody well have a good explaining so as to why she didn't give me a chance to speak or confront me about what she saw.

.................................................

Swara's POV-

Three months went by as I had started my college. I took a flat on rent with two other friends of mine, Ronita and Sasha. We all were in the same course, business management studies. I also worked as a waitress in a small coffee shop nearby to pay my rent. As soon as I landed the job here, I discarded my debit card so that no one finds me ever. I opened a new account here.

" Swara, we need to leave for the class or we will end up getting late." Ronita called for me.

" Two minutes Ro. I'll be right there." I shouted, immediately tying my hair with a band, grabbed my bag and walked out of the room.

" Let's go." I said and we walked out. The college was half a kilometre away from your place so we used to walk daily.

Walking in silence, I couldn't ever keep Aditya out of my head. He was always there. So was everyone from back home. I know it must have hurt them a lot to find me gone but it was for everyone's good.

Nobody here knew that I was married so Ronita and Sasha, my only friends always dragged me to pubs every weekend in hope of getting me hooked with some guy. If only they knew that there could be no one else.

I know that I was now divorced with Aditya but still, even thinking of other boys in that way made me feel like I was cheating on him. It was probably too soon to date.

Another person I used to miss terribly was Aryan. My best friend, my confidant and my brother. He somehow always knew the solutions to my problems but he was not here with me. Coming to think about it, I didn't exactly have any problems here in life but I just felt hollow and depressed all the time. Sure Ronita and Sasha were there but still, Aryan was not.

But I also knew that of that day I had gone to him with my problems, he would never have let me leave Mumbai and I desperately wanted to get away, to run away from everything. Aditya, Kritika di and my feelings.

That snooty smile which she gave me when I saw her kissing Aditya still haunts me. I still wonder how could she do that to her own sister.

Mumma and papa, I couldn't even start to think about them. They must have been broken and angry at me for doing something like that but I had no explaination to offer to them. I don't know if ever I could show them my face.

The day went as usual and so did the rest of the remaining three years. Semester came and went by, so did exams and assignments. I grew, age wise, maturity wise and responsibility wise.

I changed a couple of part time jobs there and there and managed to pay for myself and then enrolled for masters in the same university. The MBA was a two years affair which went smoothly and I had completed my education is six years and then obtained work Visa. I was turning twenty five in the next four days and starting my new job as relationship manager in Ronald and Co. which is a huge multi national company in technology and software.

Sasha had moved back to her home country, Australia after completing her education and Ronita was going to be working in the same organisation as mine. We still shared the same apartment.

Everything was as it is, at least more or all. So were my feelings for my ex husband. That time, I couldn't put a name to those feelings but now I can....love. Yes, I loved him despite knowing that he is not mine to love.

.............................................

Aditya's POV-

It had been six years since she left me. Six years since she misunderstood me and walked out as if none of anything mattered to her.

After she left, mom and dad forced me to move back to the manor with them and I had to oblige to mom's blackmail.

" Adi, please get married son. You've turned 30 and now it's time to settle. Shona is not coming back and you cannot keep waiting for her.

I could see the pain in her eyes as she talked about her. I told them what had happened and they of course did not blame her, neither did I to be honest.

I just blame her for one thing. Not clearing the misunderstanding which ultimately led to our sabotaged relationship.

" Mom, she is still my wife and that place can be taken by none." I told her, walking out to the car, without further ado.

In all these years, I did not give up on finding her. I hired private investigators who went overseas after not finding her here.

As the driver started for work, my phone rang and so I picked it up.

" Mr. Kapoor, your wife has been sighted. She is in London, specifically, St Mary's Rd, Ealing, London." He said and I hung up.

" Mrs. Kapoor, we are done playing this game of hide and seek. It's show time." I said, smirking.

And yes guys, before you start asking me if I am going to end this book.....the answer is no. This book is not ending. This leap was important because had it not happened, the story would have just hung and dragged, therefore people losing interest. Now you'll see a different shade of Aditya who will go to ends to get Swara back whereas she will be equally resistant. So stay tuned!

Hey guys! This is the next chapter. I hope you all like it. To unlock the next one, at least 100 comments are required on this one.
