The average time
The Scavengers- thought to be a rather interesting group. They do a little of everything when it comes to the applications and jobs Ravagers are given. Currently there's only three known members, but given time they may yet expand. And when they do, you will likely not be limited by who or what you are. The Scavengers are a mixed group and do not judge others by their race. The members:
Joseph- the leader. A simple human with a fine blade. It's his willing and drive as a Ravager that leads the group. Often seen as a sensitive person, he is often the one who is helping others out of the kindness of his heart.
Sheik- though she may be a beauty, she is also a weapon. A Sheikah from the glorious kingdom of Hyrule, this gal is thought of as the second-in-command and is a fighter for the group, specializing in close combat situations.
Harpus- yet another lovely girl, but also a valuable asset to the team. A harpy of the Ventus attribute from the rugged land of Vestoria, she to is a fighter for the group, specializing in ranged combat. She can be seen attending the arena games from time to time.
This group, the Scavengers, are a reliable group and do their jobs well. They are to be trusted with many an application given to them. It is recommended that you ask for this group if you're looking for someone specific for your application.
---
Harpus: Ha! Look at this! We're on a roll now huh?
Sheik: Being recognized and recommended in the bulletin board papers means we're doing a good job as Ravagers, is that correct?
Joseph: That's right Sheik. We're officially doing as good as any other Ravager group now!
Jeff: Good. Only took about two years and a half to do so. Is that a good thing or what?
Joseph: I think it's about as good as anyone's record Jeff. I don't know. Point is, we're going to hopefully get some specialized applications just for us, which will mean more income on our part. We just need to keep up the good work is all!
Being recommended in the bulletin board papers for Ravagers is a testament to the craft. Like a movie recommendation, if you will. Oh, you're probably wondering what apparently has been two and a half years, aren't you? Well, it's technically been two years since the group, now named the Scavengers, has met Harpus. Harpus still hasn't gotten the fighting spirit out of her, but at least she doesn't overdo the fighting anymore. She still goes to the arena games two or three times a year, mostly for the thrill and experience of it. Joseph would keep his promise to Sheik and would bring her back to Hyrule so she could report back to Impa as much as she could. As for Jeff, he's doing surprisingly well. The black rings around his eyes had mostly faded to near nothing, and though he was still a wanted man, he would actually help out with the jobs from time to time... whenever no one but the group and animals could see him of course. He actually served more as a "watchdog" of sorts. If someone tried to steal from the wagon, all Jeff had to do really was show his face and they'd go running for the hills. Jeff never actually killed anybody in the last two and a half years Joseph knew him, but there wasn't anything as yet found that could say Jeff was innocent. Joseph would still take him back to Dr. Alexander so he could get whatever treatment he may have needed. In fact, they were headed into Joseph's home city when...
Harpus: Uh oh.
Sheik: What?
Harpus: Looks like the Rip Roarers are in town Joe.
Jeff: Gee, what was your first clue? The huge crowd just outside the city limits or the larger then life dragon of those rip freaks?
The Rip Roarers were a group of Ravagers, just like the Scavengers, but they specialized in being, essentially, bounty hunters. In fact, they had a theme of all being hunters from their individual likeness. They weren't necessarily enemies with the Scavengers, but they weren't exactly friends either. Consider them "frenemies" I believe the term is.
And Jeff's right, they did have a large dragon with them. Not just any dragon either. It was Rayquaza. You heard right. Rayquaza, the Legendary Sky High Pokémon himself, was basically the transportation for the Rip Roarers. No one knows how the group met Rayquaza of all pokemon, and the group is never really been around long enough to be asked about it. Rayquaza is actually a lot nicer then you'd think he'd be for a large meteorite eating dragon. While the group would go into the city looking for a potential job, Rayquaza would stay outside the city limits where people would come to see him. He'd actually let the children climb up over him and slide down him until his group would return.
Remember Riptor? This is the group that asked her to join. Riptor fit right in as a top notch hunter. She would do scouting tasks and ambush tasks, which was perfect for a raptor like her. Raptors would hunt in groups too, and some would scout for food while others would ambush the prey. Right? Dinosaurs can be mysterious like that.
Besides Rayquaza and Riptor, the rest of the group were actually sentient robots from the more technologically advanced cities of the world. Take Zero, for example. He was about as tall as a human, his personality just like a human, and his abilities were astonishing. Apparently he was the best member of a group of robots known as Maverick hunters before he left... for unknown reasons. He was practically the best guy you could meet.
Then there was the second-in-command of the Rip Roarers, Brandish. He was a robot built after the ninja fighting style. He was named for his twin swords that could slice through thick steel like it wasn't even there. He was an honorable and calm sort, much like Sheik. It only made sense that he was the second-in-command, considering him and the leader of the Rip Roarers were in a committed relationship. A robot relationship mind you.
And the leader, you ask? One of those "woman are stronger then you think" archetypes. One of those "don't mess with me" types. A robot made for the hunt, with claws, stealth, speed, power, and teeth to match. The "Vermillion Destroyer" they nicknamed her. Real name: Ray. She was not to be underestimated, by foes and friends alike.
Ray often messed with the Scavengers in friendly competition. Ravagers never really "competed" with each other. Maybe had a few gang rivalry type things some of them, but never really any competition between them. There was really only one thing that made the Rip Roarers a problem to the Scavengers... Ray and them knew the Scavengers' little secret.
And they happened to run into the Rip Roarers as Joseph ans his Scavengers came in.
Ray: Ah Joseph! Nice to see ya'll here. I suppose.
Joseph: *sigh* Hello Ray. Nice to see you and your friends again.
Harpus: 'Sup Riptor! Planning to be at next month's arena game?
Riptor: *assorted growling noises*
Brandish: (bows) I trust you're doing well, Sheik?
Sheik: I'm doing quite well in fact. (Bows) Thank you Brandish.
Ray: Oye Jeff! Thought I'd remind ya that if ya try anything, and I mean anything, I'm turning ya hide in! You hear me through that pillow of yours in there?
Jeff: *mumbling* Hey ho and f**k you too Ray.
Ray: Haha! You must have a real good leash on this one Joe!
Zero: Ray, get down from their wagon please. It's not polite. Joseph, we saw your group's recommendation on the bulletin board, and I'd like to congratulate you personally!
Joseph: Thanks Zero. Hey, I heard about your latest endeavor! Did you guys actually go underwater and wrestle up a sea monster?
Ray: Oh yeah. Huge sucka! We actually had to have Rayquaza help wrangle him up.
Harpus: Wow! What was the job?
Brandish: We had to remove this beast from the coastal area and take it back to its proper environment.
Riptor: *assorted growling noises*
Ray: Hey, I only wanted the thing's tooth as a memoir of our first coastal job! Of course I told Quaza to wrastle the crazy thing onto the shore line! How else do you expect me to yank out a fresh tooth?! It'll grow back!... Eventually.
Brandish: What am I going to do with you Ray?
Ray: Love me unconditionally.
Jeff: Save the lovey-dovey for tonight, you weirdos.
Joseph: Wow. I imagine Riptor hated that.
Zero: (chuckles) Yeah, she did.
Riptor: *silently growls*
They all talked of current events. The Scavengers and Rip Roarers actually got along well for the most part. It was rough when they first met sure, but after Ray heard Joseph's reasons for hiding and helping Jeff she decided to give him a chance. She's actually kinda glad she did. Who else is Ray doing to mess with constantly? Eventually though the two groups had to part ways and wish each other farewell. Joseph drove the wagon until they were in front of a very familiar building.
Joseph: Alright gang, you know the drill. Jeff, you'll stay here at Alexander's office so he can look you over. I'll go over to the Ravager Gather area for a bit to look for a potential job for us. Sheik, you watch the wagon for Jeff, and Harpus can relax however. Alright?
Harpus: Alright with me! See ya guys later 'k?
Jeff: Don't act like there ain't nothing special other then those applications Joe. There's a new book about dem Goth Claws, ain't there?
Sheik: You go do whatever you want Joseph, I'll watch the wagon no problem.
The group split up for their reasons. Jeff was right; there was a new book from the Goth Claws and Joseph was going to get it. After getting the book, he went over to the Ravager Gather area and looked at the applications being given. The Ravager Gather areas were kinda like a café or hang-out joint for the Ravagers. The applications were posted on a bulletin board, sometimes inside sometimes outside depending on where you were, plenty of tables and chairs to sit at outside, and a eatery of some sort inside where you get some food and drink. Anyone could go there, but it was naturally filled with Ravagers, new and old. Joseph decided that since he had some time to spare, he was going to read some of his new book and have some tea. After some time had passed reading, he took a break and noticed that there was a child hanging around the corner, sitting down and looking rather hungry. Joseph couldn't stand the sight, kinda because he had a feeling he knew what the child must have gone through. He was an orphan you know, and this child seemed like one of those who would normally follow their parents everywhere unless told otherwise. Joseph eventually decided to get something for the poor girl, maybe talk to her a bit. Joseph was starting to feel kinda peckish anyway. He walked up to the child, and she definitely seemed like she was hungry and had obviously been through some tough times.
Joseph: Hey. You look like you could use something to eat. Here, it's tomato soup. Careful, it's still kinda hot.
???: *quietly* T-thank you. I don't mean to look so vulnerable you know.
Joseph: Heh, they say I'm a sensitive person. I'm Joseph. You?
???: (blows on soup to cool it) ...I-I'd rather not say... I guess you could say I'm a runaway...
Joseph: Oh, I see. Things at home pretty bad huh?
???: ... Real bad... worse then anything imaginable...
Joseph: Ouch. How long have you been... you know... out here?
???: ...Long enough for mother to probably send out one of those appli- appa- ap-
Joseph: Applications?
???: Yeah. I'm not stupid. I know what all goes around here... around home...
Joseph: Hm. Hey, don't think I'm that different from you. I'm an orphan, and I never even knew my parents. Never got adopted either, but that's not bothering me. How are you dealing with it?
???: I... I'm not alone. There are other runaways. They're real nice. And I understand what you mean. I'm sorry to hear that... I... I remember losing my father a couple of years ago... around when it was getting bad...
Joseph: Don't want to talk about either, huh?
???: (shakes head)... (drinks some soup)... Don't tell me I should go back home. Things are only getting worse over there... You don't want to know... This is best for me, and nothing will change it. I've been getting food, either from the other runaways or from people like you, and I have friends for once, and that's what kids need, right?... (drinks some soup)...
Joseph: ...Alright... I won't say it. If things are that bad, then why don't you tell somebody about it? Explain what's going on. You may find someone to help you.
???: (scoff) Like they'll believe me. The things happening at home... are just so bad to bare... No one can stop it, trust me. And if there is a way to stop it... it'll probably be me... when I've figured out what to do. *sigh* I... I'm so confused.
Joseph stayed with the girl and comforted her the best he could. He could tell that, though she had been through rough times, she was actually well taken care of. Her raincoat was somewhat dirty and it was slightly large for her (mostly on the hood which she wore over her head. The hood was huge), but it definitely wasn't worn out. Far from it really. She must've been a runaway for a while, since her dark brown hair completely covered her eyes. She didn't have any jeans or anything of the sort on. Joseph hoped she had something under the raincoat in that... area, should we put it.
Joseph: Listen, I know a guy who can help take care of you and your friends. A doctor, and he's not far from here. Dr. Alexander. Here's a card with the address and everything. If you or your friends get sick or hungry or hurt, just look for Alexander, ok?
???: ...O-ok. Thank you. Here's the bowl. Thank you for the soup.
Joseph: Of course. Wow, you must've been hungry huh?
???: (small chuckle) A little... I still haven't told you my name, have I?
Joseph: ...I don't think so. Now that you mention it you haven't.
???: ...I prefer not to say my real name. Someone might tell mother where I am and... that'll be bad. But all my friends know me as Six. Just Six. You can call me that too since you're a friend Joseph.
Joseph: Alright. Six. I can remember that. (Chuckles) And I won't say anything about you to anyone, ok?
Six: Ok. Thanks. (Looks around the corner then turns back) I have to go, and I imagine a Ravager like you should get going too.
Joseph: Let me check. Oh wow, yeah I should get going. And hey, if you want to talk about anything to me, I'm usually back here every few weeks. So I'm sure we'll see each other again.
Six: Okay. Thank you again.
Six stood up and quickly ran down the corner. It took a moment for Joseph to think about watching where she went down the corner, but by the time he looked she was obviously gone. Six. That's an interesting name. He shook it off and put the empty bowls of soup in their proper place before running off to meet the rest of the group.
It was cool that night, but a campfire warmed most everyone up good. Except Jeff, but then he slept in the wagon with some blankets and that pillow of his so he was comfortable enough as it was. Joseph did stay up a little out of worry for his little friend Six. How old was she? She looked and sounded somewhere around nine years old. Poor girl. Things must be pretty bad for her at home... whatever it was that was so bad. Joseph however managed to fall asleep and got a good night's rest.
All and all, just another average day has gone by.

We've got a name! The Scavengers! What do you think guys? Hans4475 suggested it, and I think it'll fit quite nicely. Thank you!
Anyway, another new chapter down. You guys obviously know who Ray is if you've read some of my other books here on Wattpad, and I've already shown you guys Riptor. Let me show you the rest of the Rip Roarers.
Brandish
Rayquaza
Zero
As for the mysterious Six, I want ya'll to guess where she's from. Maybe even guess what's she's talking about? If you're willing to guess it then go ahead.
Heh, um, I kinda don't want to say this but at the same time I do considering it helped my Year of the Sun Dragon book be so successful, but I gotta say something.
I'm out of ideas for the next for chapters.😖
What I mean is, is that I don't know how to advance the story a bit. Should you request some ideas for chapters to me or should I go ahead and reveal a new team member? I'm thinking you can request some ideas for me then after a little bit I'll bring up a new character for the team.
In other words... Help.
Anyway, cheers and happy holidays to ya'll! I'll probably be taking a break from writing during Christmas and New Year's unless something comes up. Don't worry, I'll still be checking in on the notifications and stuff. It'll give ya'll a chance to think of some ideas for chapters for me anyway.
Cheers! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! 🐉🎄🎆
