I will be not able to update for another two weeks for my semester examinations are close, so please bear my long absence as you always does and do not forget the story, alright? After leaving Radhika to sort out her thoughts, Hitesh and Vikas found themselves walking towards Vikas's cabin. Vikas didn't speak anything until they reached his cabin and when the lock clicked in its place he turned to Hitesh who was bubbling all the while to speak something.

'Now speak up, brother of mine.'

'Are you thinking the same what am I thinking?'

'That depends on what you are thinking.' Said Vikas raising his eyebrow.

'Don't give me that look. I am not going to be intimidated by that. Tell me you are going to Mr. Prince and let him know the truth or else I am going to do that. Plain and simple. I cannot go around seeing my sister heartbroken.'

'This Radhika has spoiled you to bits. Bhai saheb!! Please remember this is my office and my media house.' said Vikas air quoting the words.

'Haa, so?? Should I fear that you are going to suspend me from my duties?? Well then I remind you I am your friend cum brother and you cannot be relieved from me so easily.' Said Hitesh with a cheeky grin.

'How can I even forget that!!!' murmured Vikas. What a package he got as his friends. One is bull headed and other is air headed. Both of them are responsible for his sanity to be off bounds. Now this air headed man wants him to speak with Arjun. Very nice, that is what they are going to be. Matchmakers!! What a great day it will be for him to play matchmaker to his friend with his new found friend – thought Vikas sarcastically and continued...

'Why do you think we should talk to Mr. Prince?'

'Because he has to know what he is doing and we should also tell him the truth that Radhika is his childhood sweetheart.'

'And why do you think we have to tell him all that??'

'Because he has the right to know.'

'Of course.' Said Vikas sarcastically.

'You don't agree with me?'

'Yes.'

'Why?'

'Because it is not our place to let Arjun know that Radhika is none other his childhood sweetheart.'

'Why so?'

'It should be Radhika, not us who will reveal this thing to him. Don't you think if we let him now that Radhika is his childhood sweetheart, he will come charging like a bull and shake Radhika out of her wits until she accepts the truth?'

'Well yes, he will do that for sure. But the truth should be out someday, let it be today.'

'That someday is not today Hitesh.' Said Vikas exasperated. What is he going to do with this brother of his? He cannot understand a simple thing – thought Vikas and sighed heavily.

'Why can't it be today?'

'Because Radhika is not in a position to hold herself up and speak in her defense when Arjun questions her about why she has held this secret to herself this long. Now, do you understand why am I saying this secret will be not out today?'

'Oh hell, yes. I didn't think in this manner. So you are going to stand by her when the secret is out, don't you?'

'Of course, I will. Don't I always stand by Dharma?'

'Now who is "Dharma"?? Don't tell me you are interested in guys!!' said Hitesh with a horrific face.

'Where did that come from? No, I'm very much interested in girls and dharma means the principles I stand by, you idiot.' growled Vikas.

'I know, I am just lightening up the mood brother, so chillax.' Said Hitesh patting on Vikas's shoulders with that idiotic and cheeky grin on his face.

Oh!! How he wish to wipe that grin off his face. Vikas was right when he thought Hitesh as air headed. This guy doesn't know when to play pranks and he is covering it up by saying he was lightening the mood. God in heaven!! Please save me from these dumb heads.

'Okay now, we are not going to be party poopers, so what are we going to do now?? I can't see Radhika in this condition. She is crying her eyes out. That idiotic girl should muster up her courage and tell him the truth.'

'It's not easy as you think. She has been through hell for a million times in all these years. Do you think it will be so easy to go in front of him and blurt out the truth as if she is wishing him for Christmas? No, you dumbhead.'

'I understand that but was unable to keep up with my anxiety. So what are we going to do now?'

'Oh that, we are going to have a small talk with beloved brother-in-law.'

'Only now you said you are not going to tell him the truth.'

'When did I ever say that I am going to tell him the truth? We are going to have a small talk with him about how he should keep his mouth in check from now on. Understood?'

'Perfectly.' Said Hitesh with a gleeful smile on his face.

After deciding what they are going to talk and instructing Hitesh strictly not to open his mouth during the conversation, Vikas called Arjun to make an appointment. Arjun who is ever so excited to meet Radhika's friends accepted immediately and told them to meet him in the lunch hour.

Hitesh is bouncing all the while they are going to the chief minister's office. Vikas didn't understand the reason of why he was so happy and why he was looking forward to this conversation. That will be known only after meeting Arjun. But to his knowledge, Arjun and Hitesh doesn't get along well, they were like enemies on the battlefield. He sighed when he was unable to put his finger on the exact matter. They made their way to Arjun's office after giving their names at the reception and when they got the green signal to go in. Hitesh bolted off to Arjun's office as if he were in a running competition.

'Well, hullo there brother-in-law.' Said Hitesh entering the cabin of Arjun.

How can Vikas forget that Hitesh is always on cue to make a grand entry!! He thought he made his entry grand by calling Arjun his brother-in-law and one has to look at Arjun's face now. Confusion and innocence are written all over his face. It is as if he did a grave crime and Hitesh was about to pass his judgment on his case. Vikas very hardly controlled his laugh looking at Arjun and Pawan is in no less condition than Arjun.

'Hello to you too Hitesh. But what brought that brightening smile to your face?' asked Arjun. Here he is breaking his head of why his wife left him without saying goodbye and what does he get in return? His wife's brother in all his glory graced his chamber and talking to him as if he had won a championship. He will go crazy in the near future for sure because of this sister and brother. And what did he call him? Brother-in-law? Where did that come from? Doesn't he always him Mr. Prince or Arjun? What brought this change in him?

'Hello, Arjun. Good to see you are having a good time.' Said Vikas with amusement in his eyes.

Good time, his foot. He is having anything but a good time.

'Well yes I am having a very good time, thank you.' said Arjun sarcastically.

'I see you are in a very good mood too.' Laughed Vikas.

This man has the audacity to laugh on his poor condition. He thought these people will show him a way to cool the mood of Radhika but he thinks they are not going to help him by the looks of them. Arjun sighed heavily and sank into his chair. His lunch hour is going to be a waste with these nut heads.

Both Hitesh and Vikas took their seats and Hitesh all of a sudden asked him a question that made Arjun take a step back in his chair.

'Do you love my sister?' asked Hitesh.

Vikas came out of the shock first and asked him to shut up.

'Did I not tell you to keep your mouth shut?'

'Yes, but you didn't think I will keep my word, did you?'

'That's why I told you to keep your mouth busy by stuffing burgers into your face.' Snapped Vikas. How did he believe this dumbo and brought him to speak with Arjun!!

'Oh yeah, that's the reason you bought me so many burgers. Bribery is a crime, brother. You should know that.' Said Hitesh. He is so enjoying this banter.

'Will you please tell me the matter that made you both come to my office?' snapped Arjun. These both can play banter-banter later at some other time. Now he is not having either time or patience. His office works are already heating up his brain and he didn't need another addition.

'Ah yes, that, Mr. Mehra.'

'Yes, I am listening.'

'I will have to repeat the same question of Hitesh.'

'Why is there a need to ask the same question twice? That's why I asked him earlier and you wanted my mouth to be shut.' Chimed in Hitesh with a pout.

Ignoring him, Vikas asked Arjun's answer.

'Of course, he does. Is that not visible to "Barbie" sister of yours?' asked Pawan. How can he be left behind when all are having their say in this matter!!

'Oh yeah, she didn't do her doctorate in face reading, alright? That's why she was unable to read his facial expressions.' Snapped Hitesh. That man Pawan is going to have a black shade around his eye one day for insulting his sister.

'Okay, I love her or not, that's none of your concern. Why do you ask?' growled Arjun. This is like a boxing match to him. One punches the other with a force and other comes with a punch double the intensity of the first. And here he is going mad with all this.

'Well then, if it is a yes, tell her the same. If not, leave her be and DO NOT give her hopes that you will be together with her for a lifetime.' Said Hitesh and the left the cabin before Vikas can stop him. He can defend his idiot friend but not his sister. Vikas is right about not revealing the truth to this nut-head called Arjun. He doesn't know what he will do if he ever hurt his sister again. Bloody idiot brother-in-law of his – huffed Hitesh and left the office and stood by Vikas's vehicle.

On the other side, Vikas is making Arjun understand that Hitesh is saying all this out of concern for Radhika.

'I understand that Vikas. I will look into this matter, but make him understand too.' Said Arjun.

'I surely will.' Assured Vikas.

'Another thing. I know it is your vehicle that picked her up this morning.'

'Yes, that is true.' Said Vikas sheepishly.

'Why did she do that?'

'You got a stubborn lady as your wife Mr. Mehra. We are doing our best in controlling her temper from a long time. But when she decides a thing, no one can be able to alter that decision.' Answered Vikas.

'So she asked you to come and pick her up?'

'Isn't that obvious?'

'Yes, it is. Thank you Vikas, I will talk to Radhika on this matter.' When Vikas is about to say something, he continued, 'don't you worry, I will not say anything that will change your relationship dynamics with her.'

Vikas thanked him for his time and left Arjun's office. Pawan left his chamber too to ponder over his thoughts. He should talk to his wife diplomatically. Will he ever be able to do that?
