Darks pov****

Ugghh. I groaned as I woke up in a strange room. I looked around and saw I was connected to some sort of machine.

"I see you're awake." I looked over to a familiar woman with violet eyes.

The witch.

I scowled at her, "what do you want?"

She smiled, "I wanted to thank you."

What? Thank me?

"For what?"

She sat down at the edge of my bed, "for saving my daughters. That man was the reason I brought you here. You managed to get rid of him thus saving my daughters."

I looked at her confused. "What do you mean?"

"Arithen is no human, he is one of the exiles. A man of pure evil. He found out about my daughters and came looking for me and my family. He managed to kill me and my husband but my daughters escaped his grasp. And when he finally found them again. You finished him off."

I closed my eyes and then looked at her again. "How come that stupid toy of his hurt me?"

She sighed. "With every day you spent here on earth you turned more and more human. You should have noticed. Ghirahim and Vaati can't use their powers anymore, Midna and zant's appearance changed to a more human like look. And you started being vulnerable to human weapons. But it's over now and I thank you. You can finally return to your world."

I frowned, "I don't get it though, you said for us to return we had to find the daughters of the eclipse."

She smiled, "but you did, you and your friends have been living with them since the first day you got here. You even fell In love with one."

I looked down at my hands and closed my eyes, "so I guess now I have to leave?"

"Yes. Your job here is done. I only brought you here because I saw potential in you. You were the only one who could protect my girls from Arithen."

I snarled, " I don't get it though! Why me?"

"Because you were chosen for it." I was about to argue when she disappeared.

"The portal opens tomorrow at midnight near the garden of their house. Gather everyone and you can go home.."

And she was gone.

I heard the door to my room open and I saw a very teary eyed Celeste. She dropped what ever she was carrying and ran towards me.

"Don't you ever scare me like that again! Do you know how worried sick I was?!" She hugged me and started crying again. "I thought I lost you. I thought you were gone!"

I hugged her and smiled, "it's ok love, I'm here I'm alive."

"I love you. Don't ever scare me like that again." She hiccuped and I wiped her tears from her face and smiled.

"I would never leave you. And I will never stop loving you. I swear it."

She smiled and I brought her head closer to mine. Kissing her deeply.

I was going to miss her when ever I leave tomorrow night..

Celeste's pov*****

The doctor let dark out the next day. Saying the bullet didn't do any real damage and that there was no reason for him to stay. I smiled at the news but something else kept the tears flowing.

I looked at dark laying soundly asleep on my bed with me. I snuggled closer and sniffed.

He told me he had to leave back home tonight.  I was happy for him, that he found a way home.

But I was also sad and distraught at the idea of never seeing him again.

I don't want to be selfish. I didn't want to keep him here unhappy.

I should have known this day would come sooner or later.

I felt him move some stray hair out of my face and I looked u at him and smiled. 

He hugged me in a tight hug. Not letting me go for a couple minutes and I cherished every single one of them.

He got up from the bed and changed into his black tunic, the same clothes he had on when we first met. I couldn't help but cry. Tear after tear, streaming down my face as I saw him change into the person he was before he got here.

I got out of my bed and stood next to him and smiled sadly, "I'll miss you.."

He smiled, "I'll miss you too. But I have a feeling we will see each other again."

He leaned forward and planted another kiss on my lips and walked out of my room.

11:58 pm

I looked out the window and saw everyone gathered in the garden. Waiting to go home. I saw Zaida cry and hug ghirahim and him hugging her back sadly. I saw Seira and Vaati exchange sad farewells. Nikki wiped a few tears from her eyes and ended up hugging link.  Anna was hugging zant Midna and Zelda, all four of them crying. Sheik stood there, waiting for the portal to open. And I could visibly see the tension between him and Anna.

I closed the window just as soon as I saw dark walking towards them. 

This sadness pierced my heart. I couldn't bare to see him leave. I put my hand on my chest and I felt a familiar heart shaped jewel. My necklace.

I shook my head and ran out of the house as fast as I could. Not even bothering to put shoes on.

11:59 pm

I ran out side and stopped once I reached the garden.

"DARK!"

He turned around and I ran towards him.

I was told that I would feel

I collapsed in his arms and he picked me up and spinned me around. Hugging me tightly and burying his face in my neck.

I laughed and cried at the same time, still not ready to let go. "Promise me you'll never forget me dark. Promise me."

He chuckled, "I would never dream of forgetting you Celeste."

I took of my necklace and placed it around his neck. "Keep it. So that you can feel me with you whenever you miss me.."

He smiled and hugged me once more. He took off his long black pointy hat and placed it on my head along with a silver ring he had on his ring finger which he placed on my ring finger.

The silver ring had a symbol engraved in it. Three triangles placed together to form one single triangle.

I smiled and kissed him one last time.

12:00 am

A dark blue swirl of light appeared on our garden. Bright and dark hues of purple and blue swirling together. Almost looking like our very own galaxy in our back yard.

Ganondorf went in first, soon followed by sheik, Zelda, Midna and zant.

Ghirahim, after saying his final farewells and kissing Zaida one last time followed them soon after. Vaati stole a kiss from Seira, followed right after. Leaving dark the only one to go in last.

I sniffed and looked at him. He smiled, "don't feel sad, instead remember all to good times we had together. This isn't a good bye..."

I hugged him. And he hugged me back.

"I love you Celeste."

I looked up at him. "I love you too dark.." With that he smiled and walked down through the portal. Looking back at me one last time before he crossed through. The portal shut right after he went in. Making the hues of purple and blue disappear. 

I smiled, touching my ring, placing it over my heart.

"I will forever love you.."
