Zaidas pov****

The light turned green and I stepped on the gas pedal, moving forward to my destination.

All of the sudden, as if in slow motion, I saw two cars heading towards me.

A blond little girl in a black dress holding a black box smiled at me.

And then pain.

Blinding pain.

Then darkness.

"SHIT!" I woke up grabbing the blankets until my knuckles were white. I gasped for air, sweat running down my forehead as I tried to calm my racing heart beat.

"Yeah I mean it's not like I need my nose anyways. You can break it in your sleep. No biggie."

I looked over to Elisabeth who was rubbing her nose and was looking at me with an eyebrow raised.

"Sorry sis..." I laid back down and turned towards her and sighed.

That dream keeps haunting me.

And it just won't go away.

"Same nightmare sis?" I looked at Liz confused.

"What do you mean?"

She frowned, "don't act stupid with me, just look at you! You're a mess! You have dark circles under your eyes from lack of sleep. And don't think you managed to sneak out of bed yesterday at five. I noticed when you left." She laid back down on the bed also, and I decided to snuggle up to her.

I hadn't wanted to admit it. But I'm afraid.

"Spill it. What's wrong?" She hugged me.

"I'm scared.."

"Why?"

"I feel alone sometimes, and, every night I have nightmares of someone dying in a horrible accident. And then there's this girl in my dreams with a box. Ugh it's horrible!" I buried my face in the blankets and I felt Liz pet my head.

"Why are you worrying about it? It's just a dream isn't it?"

I sighed, "what if it's not just a dream?"

Elizabeth sighed, "well they say that when some one dreams about death, it doesn't necessarily mean someone's going to die. It means the end of something. Like something important or the end of a struggle."

I hope you're right Liz... "I guess, thanks..."

Should I tell her about my powers? Will she hate me if I do?

I frowned, I remember I would always tell Elizabeth everything that happened with me no matter what it was. It wasn't until my "gifts" surfaced and ghirahim appeared that I stopped talking to her much..

"He Liz?"

"Ya?"

I sighed, "remember what happened with Seira at the pool and how Celeste turned into a dog?"

"It was a wolf, but yeah I remember. Why?"

I smiled sheepishly, "I sorta, kinda, can do the same. Well, somewhat..."

She looked at me and smirked. "Awesome!"

Huh? "I thought you would think I'm a freak.."

She sat up and sat on her knees on the bed. "Are you kidding me?! That's awesome! Look."

She closed her eyes. She closed one of her hands and held it out towards me and then opened it, revealing a small little flame.

My eyes widened in surprise. The flame went out after a few seconds and Elizabeth looked at me exited.

"No way!"

"Yes way!"

I sat up, "how?!"

"Umm there's this book I found in Natalie's room, and it's pretty interesting. I read a few pages and woala! I found out I had a hidden element I can control! Isn't it cool? Do you know how many times we can prank the people at school with this?!" She explained exited.

I sweatdropped.

Yup that's Elizabeth for you. Always getting into trouble and managing to bribe her way out of it with winks and pretty faces.

"So what can you do?"

I grimaced, "ummm, I'll show you if we can sneak outside?"

She giggled, "all these years living with Celeste and you still can't learn to sneak out of the house? Typical." She got up and changed out of her pajamas and looked at me.

"Come on! What are you wating for?"

I groaned, " it's five in the morning..."

"Ya don't say?? Come on!"

Uggggh, I got up and changed and both Elizabeth and I left the house quietly.

There was a soft breeze blowing through my hair, taking my horrid night mare with it.

"Ok show me what you have."

I nodded and motioned her to move back a bit.

Hmmm which element should I use first?

Plants.

I looked at the small little tulip that hasn't started to bloom and concentrated.

"Carieh"

The tulip grew and bloomed in a pretty violet color. Elizabeth smiled, "that's so pretty! So you can do plants?"

I laughed, "not just plants, fire, water, air, and psychic so far."

"Psychic? What? You can read minds now?" She laughed.

I smirked, "yep, is overwhelming though."

"I don't believe you."

Challenge accepted.

I let my mind barriers down just a bit but instantly regretted it.

"EWWWW! Elizabeth stop! That's gross! Don't think about that! I don't need to know what you and your boyfriend do in your spare time!"

I am officially mentally scarred now.

Thanks......

"What? Kissing? You're over reacting."

"It's gross. I still can't get yesterday out of my mind too!"

She laughed, "z we were kissing. Not making babies."

"Oh for the love of heaven don't give me THAT image."

She smirked, "making babies making babies making babies!" She laughed when she saw my disgusted look and I pretended to gag.

"You're so immature z"

"And you're perverted Liz."

"Sometimes." She smirked. She looked at the horizon and smiled, "look, the Suns rising. Wanna see it from the roof?"

I winced, "I don't think the roof is safe.."

"Come on you big coward, let's go see it!"

Elizabeth pulled me and we managed to climb up to the roof, not without waking someone up though. But he didn't see us.

"That was close.." I laughed

She smiled, "imagine the heart attack he would have gotten if he saw us."

"He's adorable, and innocent"

"Yeah, I love zant."

We both bursted out laughing and Elizabeth looked at the sky.

"It's so pretty." She said

I smiled, "yeah, remember that time when we were little when we snuck out of the house and played around with the horses?"

She chuckled, "yeah, remember that time we accidentally burned your dad's pants?"

I laughed remember our mischievous act.

"And that time we went to the park and found a duck nest, and all the eggs hatched and the baby duckies started following you everywhere you went. We had to adopt them because they thought they were your momma."

Elizabeth laughed, "they were my babies and I loved them. Oh remember when we played hair stylists and we accidentally cut Anna's hair short?"

"She was mad for weeks about that, she looked like a boy!"

We both looked at each other and burst into giggle fits for a long time.

"Remember all those times we would wake up early to watch our favorite cartoons and we would try to make pancakes, and we left the kitchen a mess??"

Elizabeth laid down on the roof and looked up. "And then mom would be really mad about it but could never yell at us?"

"Yeah."

"I miss mom and dad.." Elizabeth said, sadness clear in her voice.

"It's today isn't it?" I forgot today was her parents anniversary, the day they died.

She nodded, "yeah."

"Are you going?"

She chuckled, "when have you known me to not go?"

"True."

We stayed there looking up at the reddish purple sky.

Today is giving me a chilling feeling.

Somethings not right..

Elizabeth's pov******

*later that day*

"Come one Liz!! Please?? Pretty please?!?" Zaida made the puppy dog face and I gave in.

"Ok fine, but I'm leaving straight after."

Zaida jumped happily and we both got our purses.

Anna looked up from her paper work, "where are you two going?"

"Early birthday shopping." I said and she nodded.

"Take the guys with you,"

Ughhhh great. "It's girl time, no can do."

Zaida stopped, "where are nyx and Natalie?"

Anna shrugged, "said they had things to do."

Oh.. "Things"  sure...

I pulled Zaida into the drive way and got in the car and drove to the nearest mall.

"What do you want to do tomorrow for your birthday?" I asked, keeping my eyes on the road.

Zaida hummed, "let's go to the beach, it's not to far from here actually."

"Do you think Anna will take us?"

"She better! It's my birthday! I'm turning 17!"

I laughed, "awwww you baby!!"

She frowned, "shut up"

We arrived to the mall and we decided to go straight to the pet store.

"Omg look at the cute little bunnies!! And the kittens!"

I sighed "z you're only getting one, a kitten or a bunny?"

She turned around and made the puppy dog look.

"Oh no, nope nope nope, one!"

She kept giving me the look.

I sighed, "fine! I'll buy you both!" Zaida jumped like a two year old and picked up a cute golden bunny and a white kitten.

"Let's name them after us! The bunny is Elizabeth and the kitten is-"

"Snowflake." I said petting the little kitten.

"Snowflake?"

I nodded, "yeah, you can name the bunny after me and I can name the kitten snowflake."

"I hate you..."

I laughed. "What's wrong snowflake?" I said, putting emphasis on her old nickname I used to call her when we were little.

"Fine, her name is snowflake."

I laughed and paid for the items and animals.

We had to go back to the car and leave them in there. Don't worry I left the Windows low and it's pretty chilly out, so they won't die of heat stroke. I'm not that horrible.

"Where to else?"

I eyed the Macy's and looked at Zaida.
"Let's go crazy today. My treat."

About three hours later we left the mall with about fifty bags of new stuff.

Zaida better feel special. Spoiled brat.

But yet again, she's my spoiled brat.

"Can I go now?" I asked Zaida and she sighed.

"Ok, I'll get someone to help me take the stuff in the house." She walked in then came back with Gabe and Rosh, who helped her take all our stuff back in.

I started the car again when someone leaned in the window, "leaving without saying hi?" 

I smiled, "I'll come back later, don't worry."

He smiled. "How do I know you won't bail on me?"

I laughed. "Bail on you? I live here for the moment XD"

Ganon laughed." True."
"So can I go now?" I asked.

"No."

I pouted, "why?"

"I'll change my mind if I can get a kiss."

Oh smooth move you bastard.... Smooth move..
I sighed, "ok fine-"

"And a hug."

Uuuuggghhhhh
I got out of the car and kissed him.

"Love you."

I giggled, "bullshit."

He smiled, "I'm serious."

"And I'm Elizabeth nice to meet you." We both laughed.

"I thought you said you were evil, evil people don't love." I said keeping my arms around his neck.

He smirked, "yes I can, I just choose not to sometimes."

"Ok I'm special."

"You are."

We let go (not after he gave me a huge bear hug and another kiss that lasted for a minute or two.... Make that five) and I got in the car.

"Be careful."

I smiled. "I will, I promise."

"Love you."

I giggled.

"Love you too"

He smiled and moved away from the window, I put the car in reverse and drove out of the drive way.

I stopped at a small flower shop, bought some flowers. Putting the flowers in the passengers seat I drove to the grave yard.

I stopped the car and walked to a familiar grave.

I placed the flowers in the flower vase for them and sat down.

"Hey little angels." I said, remembering the way mom would call me and my dad whenever we returned from somewhere.

We were always angels to her.
I smiled, letting my tears run free.

"I miss you guys...."

zaida's pov****

I walked out of the living room and into the kitchen, with Celeste following behind me.

"I say we make churros!" 

I looked at her weirdly, "churros? That will take too long to make!"

Celeste pouted, "come on lil sis! Please?? For me?! "

I groaned and finally agreed, "ok fine! We will make churros!"

Celeste jumped around happily and started gathering the ingredients while I grabbed the plates we needed.

6:40

I grabbed a bowl and a feeling of dread hit me. That dread soon grew into anxiety. That feeling in the pit of my stomach was growing by the second.

"Hey zaida, should we make them caramel filled or Nutella filled??"

6:41

A horrible sadness swallowed me whole like a monster does its prey. Tears started dripping down my face uncontrollably.

"Zaida are you ok?! What's wrong? Why are you crying??"

I didn't make any motion of answering my sister, nor to wipe my tears. This feeling of dread and pain. I've felt it before. But I don't remember where.

6:42

My body started shaking, my hands struggling to keep the bowls  from falling. "Zaida you're scaring me what's wrong?!"
I looked at the clock wishing it to be a lie, for it to be morning. For it to not be today.

6:43 pm

I dropped, sobs racking my body. Unable to do anything. Celeste dropped what she had and ran towards me. "ANNA!!! "

Anna ran into the kitchen when she heard Celeste's call.

"Zaida look at me, what's wrong?" I didn't talk, I couldn't. The sobs and the hiccups wouldn't let me.

I closed my eyes and sobbed. Blocking out everyone's worried questions.

Elizabeth's pov*****

I sighed. The sun was beginning to set. I looked at my family's grave one last time and got up wiping my tears away.

"See you later little angels."

I walked out of the grave yard and into my car. I sat there for a few minuets and looked at the setting sun. I admired every single detail of it. I wondered why this was my first time I've actually fully saw a sunset. I started the engine and started driving back home.

6:40

I stopped at a red light in an intersection. This light usually takes a long time so I took out my phone and saw a notification on it.

Zaida's birthday tomorrow

"Already got her a shit tone of stuff. I'm good." 

I looked that bracelet Ganon gave me and smiled.

"I love you."

6:42

"I swear this light takes forever to turn green.."

Once the light turned green I started driving once again.

I heard tires screeching and Before I could reach the other side of the road Pain engulfed my whole left side.

Shards of glass flew around, slicing my skin while the bitter sickly smell of gasoline clawed at my nose. Numbness swallowed my body. The car jerked and the door folded in a way my leg was stuck in it. My entire left side had a dark liquid flowing down from my arm.

Blood.

I struggled to keep my eyes open, I struggled to even keep thinking.

A whimper escaped my lips, the seatbelt constricting both my neck and arm. Wet sticky blood streaming down my forehead.

Another impact, and I felt my car jerk and turn. I felt like a paper ball, tossed around inside a large heavy piece of metal.

The smell of gasoline and blood was stronger now.

And I couldn't keep my eyes open any longer

Hello little angels. 

And then everything went black.

6:43 pm

????? Pov****

I smiled at her, and held my box closed as I looked at her bloodied cold body. I sat next to her, my black dress soaking up some of her blood.

"Hello little angel," I repeated my mothers words and Elizabeth's eyes opened and looked at me.

I could see the agony she was in, she closed her eyes, unable to keep them open anymore.

"Hello, big sis." I whispered.

And she stopped breathing.

"Mom and dad have been waiting for you, nani."
