Colfinthel's P.O.V.

I was done helping Ishmael getting most of the dye out of his hair. Tinsil would do the rest. Although I didn't know why he couldn't just do it himself, he was a grown ellon.

I quickly freshened up and changed into different clothes. I heard a knock at my door just as I was putting on a matching headpiece. I finished placing it on my head and opened the door to see Legolas.

"You ready?"

"Yeah." I said steeping out into the hallway closing the door behind me.

We made our way outside while I started to relate to him all the pranks that had been going on during his absence.

We were walking in the area where the woods meet the gardens.

"Someone really stole the crown from my father's muinthel nins after they had stolen it?"

I laughed,"They did indeed."

"So is it still missing?"

"Apparently."

"That is the best prank ever. Melui would've liked that."

I didn't know who this Melui is but I didn't like the sound of her so far. "If I may be so bold, who's Melui?"

"You may, and Melui is my sister."

I felt a relief swept over me, although I have no idea why. "Oh, I didn't know you had a sister."

"Well know you do," he chuckled ,"she's in Rivendell right know because she wanted too see Arwen before she came here. That's probably why you didn't know her."

"Oh, well I can't wait to meet her when she does come."

"I'm sure you two will get along very well." I smiled at his comment showing my dimples.

"You're cute when you smile." He said with a small smile of his own playing on his lips. I blushed and turned my face away as we were walking in the trees that outlined the side of the garden that lead into the woods.

He must have noticed my uneasiness and changed the subject. "So do you have any siblings?"

"No I don't."

He was about to say something but I shushed him because someone was coming.

It's Haldir and Orelnith on a walk laughing and looking around suspiciously as if afraid someone would see them. But who?

I glanced in Legolas direction who glanced back and we both nodded at each other in agreement. We both had the same idea to follow them and see what would become of it.

3rd person

Haldir held Orelnith's hand firmly yet gently in his as he pulled her with him. He was running with Orelnith behind him laughing at his rush all the sudden.

"Haldir why the sudden rush? Where are we going?" Orelnith asked as they kept running.

"We're rushing because your brother is preoccupied with that Elleth I saw him meet in the garden."

"What Elleth?"

"I don't know! All I know it was an Elleth and they were talking! Now is the perfect time when we can be together WITHOUT your brother stepping in and ruining everything. But if we want that we've got to hurry to this sercret spot I found that I'm positive no one knows about."

"Well if he's preoccupied and we're somewhere secret then why the rush?"

"Do I have to have a reason for wanting to spend as much time as possible with you?" He asked as they slowed down running in the path they had come upon.

"I suppose not." Admitted Orelnith with a smile.

"Alright," said Haldir catching his breath,"I think we're safe. I don't think anyone followed us. Come on." Haldir started to walk leading Orelnith further down the path and through brush and branches.

"Are we almost there yet?" Asked Orelnith. It felt as if they had been walking for the longest time when in reality a few minutes had past.

Haldir stopped and let go of Orelnith's hand. "Okay, close your eyes."

"Haldir...." Whined Orelnith.

"Just close them, pleaseeee." Haldir said putting on a unresistable face.

"Oh alright," huff Orelnith closing her eyes.

Haldir too both of her hands and lead her down and around the corner. He lead her a couple more steps and stopped, dropping her hands. "Okay, you can open your eyes now."

It was the most interesting sight ever. There was a stream flowing over the rocks and big boulders with some moss to sit on. There were trees with beautifully covered leaves falling surrounding the place making it private and light steaming down throug the canopy of leaves and branches.

"Haldir this is amazing!"

"You like it then?"

"I love it! How ever did you find this place?"

Haldir's smile dropped a bit, as he bent his head and shifting his feet. "Um, well you see.....you remember the last time I came and me and you were in the drawing room?"

"Yes..." Orelnith said.

"And your brother marched in on us and ruined everything like usual and I walked out of the room and ran off."

Orelnith nodded,"Go on."

"Well after I got down around the corner of the hall I rushed out side and started running in a random direction. I was really upset that your brother kept interrupting us and acting like I wasn't good enough to be with you. I kept running until I finally stumbled about this place. I stopped and sat for hours and thought about what happened. And then I decided that no matter how many times your brother will interior us or try to separate us I'll just keep trying harder each time."

Orelnith took in everything he was saying, as well as two unsuspected elves hidden high in the tree branches.

Orelnith walked over to Haldir and placed a hand on his shoulder and the other one to lift up his chin. "Haldir, you can't imagine how happy I am that you wot let my sour puss, stick in the mud brother get in the way."

Haldir smiled slightly at her description of her brother, but it didn't reach his eyes.

"Haldir what's wrong?"

"Although I will always fight for you, I just want to be with you forever, no one stopping us. I want to be able to really truly enjoy myself without worrying about if someone is watching us or someone found out."

"Then why don't you?"

"Because of your brother. Although for the most part I don't care what he says, I do care about what's best for you. And according to him I might not be the best choice."

"Haldir, who do you love?"

"What sort of question is that?"

"Just answer it, who do you love?"

"Well you of course."

"And who do you want to marry?"

"You." He said no seeing where this was going.

"Do you care what I think?"

"Yes of course. Orelnith whe-"

"Then stop caring about what my brother thinks about you and focus on what I think of you."

"And what do you think of me?"

"I think you're the most kindest, caring, loving ellon I could ever hope to ask for. Besides, you're not marrying my brother, you're marrying me, so thin kabout what I think of you not him. And I believe there is no one in the whole entire world that would be better for me."

"You really believe that?"

"With all my heart." And to show him that she did she leaned foward and placed her soft lips on his. He kissed her back and wrapped his arms around her waist pulling her closer as she wrapped her arms around his neck deepening the kiss.

The two elves above them watching  mentally thought 'ewww'.

"Do you believe me now?" She asked when they parted.

Haldir looked straight into her eyes,"I'd be crazy if I didn't." Orelnith giggled and he kissed her again,"You sure you know what you're getting yourself into?"

"Positive." Said Orelnith smiling.

Haldir smiled back,"We better get back before your brother comes looking for you."

"I wouldn't care if he did as long as I was with you."

Haldir chuckled,"I'm sure you wouldn't my dear, but we want him in a good mood if we want to talk him into letting me marry you."

Orelnith sighed frowning,"True."

"Aww, don't have such a long face. It's not like it's the end of the world." He said and kissed her cheek lightly.

She laughed at his joke,"I suppose you're right." And then they walked off down the path back to the palace.

"Well that was an interesting conversation." Said Colfinthel once they had gone.

"That it was." Said Legolas. "Well we better be getting back ourselves before we miss dinner." With that they left the place and followed Haldir and Orelnith back to the palace.

Hey guys! Sorry I haven't updated in a week. I was super busy with the holidays and my family. So because of that the Christmas party and New Year's Eve one will be after that, oh well. I'm sure you won't mind too much. Hoped you liked it, I'll hopefully be updating some more so watch out.
