She walked out of her winglets room

She was to go out to sun herself because it was sunning time

She walked out of the mountain and layd down on a rock by herself

She woke up to a Klang of metal against rock

She opened her eyes to see a throwing knife was right beside her

She jumped up

Her scales turned blue with fear

What's happening who is trying to kill me she wondered

She looked around to try and find the dragon who threw the knife

She saw the shadow of the dragon running away

Coward running away when I woke up. Actually that was a good thing that they didn't try a second time she thought

Rainwings around her were getting up and staring around

"W-w-what h-happened" Okapi asked

"Some dragon just tryed to kill me" Mint answered

"Why?" A Rainwing asked

"I don't know" Mint answered

My mother knows I could become a strong Queen one day so she protects me more then other Rainwings

A group of Sandwings came out and saw that the Rainwings were no longer sleeping

"What happened" the Sandwing in the lead asked

He had brown freckles on his face and a golden earning with a copper piece hanging off of it

And then she realized that most of the Icewings that she had met had that earning

"Some dragon just tryed to kill Mint" Peacock answered

"What why in the three moon's would they want to kill a rainwing" the Sandwing asked

"I don't know" Mesa replied

"They were in shadows it must have been the Nightwings" a Sandwing named Savanah said

"They are after the Night and Rain throne" Okapi said

And then arguing started about who was right

Tamiami came out and saw the arguing dragons

"Oh the dragnets are coming. Coming to save the day cause they know what's right the dragnets are coming" Tamiami sang off key

The arguing stopped and the Rainwings and Sandwings stared at Tamiami

"Mint why is there sooo much arguing" Tamiami asked

"I don't know. I was attacked and they started arguing about who did it" Mint answered

"Why can't we have one normal time at jade mountain!" Tamiami yelled

Later in the day after explaining what happened to her during sunning time

"I can't believe some dragon would try and do that" Sunset said

"If I were you I would have chased after that Nightwing and stopped them" Frost said

"I had only just woke up when they ran" Mint replied

"Yet you could tell Tamiami the hole story" Crow said

"Would you fully wake up after a hole bunch of arguing and Tamiami singing the dragnet song" Mint asked

Crow didn't reply to that

"I can't believe a Nightwing would do that" Terra Said

"We don't know if it was actually a Nightwing who did it" Mint replied

"They are the only tribe that can blend into shadows" Terra said

"It could have easily been a dark colored Mudwing" Crow said

"You seem to be arguing for the Nightwings alot is there something your hiding?" Terra asked

"No" Crow answered her voice was calm

"Suspicious" Terra said

Crow rolled her eyes

It would have to be a dark colored dragon it could be a rainwing there self but all Rainwings would be asleep at that time Mint thought

She heard dragons walk past outside the room

Everyone suspects the Nightwings but it could easily be someone else like a Mudwing and it could easily be a rainwing after the throne so they would be going after the heirs Mint thought

Leatherback yawned "why don't we go to sleep and talk more in the morning" he suggested

They all aggred

She climbed into her hammock

And went to sleep

But her dreams had a midnight black dragon attacking her it looked like Shadowseer

She woke up early in the morning and layd in bed

M'i a future seer did I just have a vision? She wondered

"Morning Mint" Crow said

"Your up too?" Mint asked

"Yeah this is the time I would wake up during the war so this is the time I always wake up now" Crow answered

Glory said I hatched a year after they stopped the breath of evil on the lost continent Mint thought

Even tho her and Firefly were the same age she preferred to call her sister younger because she was a few seconds older

"So what do you think it well be like if dragons from the lost continent came to jade mountain?" Crow asked

Mint shrugged "I don't know different"

"Well that's such a good answer" Crow said sarcasm clear in her voice

Leatherback opened his eyes "when I said we could continue in the morning I didn't mean this early"

"Sorry we couldn't get back to sleep" Mint replied

"It's alright" Leatherback grumbled obviously not happy about being woken up

"We said sorry" Mint said

"I know and I should be used to getting up early to see if I need to send a any messages" Leatherback replied

Terra woke up

"Morning" Terra said

"Good morning Terra" Mint said

"So we are waking up early today" Terra asked after looking out of the window of the roof to see it was just after dawn

"Lllllllllleeeeeeetttttttt mmmmmmmmmmmmmeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee sssssssslllllleeeeepppppp mmmmmoooorrreee mmmmmmmoooooooottttttttthhhhhhhhhhheeeeeeeeerrrrrrrr" Sunset grumbled in her sleep

She thinks she is still at her home Mint thought

"Sooooo why did we get up sooo early" Mesa asked

"Me and Crow woke up early and couldn't get back to sleep" Mint answered

"Oh I understand not being able to get back to sleep" Mesa said

Sunset opened her eyes "What's going on did I miss something?"

"No you didn't miss anything I was just answering Mesa about why we are up so early" Mint answered

"I'm going out for a walk by myself" Crow said and quickly walked out of the room

"I bet she is used to be by herself" Mesa said

They talked for a little bit

"I'm going to go do some painting" Mint said

She walked out of the room and to the art class room

There was a new carved dragon on the table in the room

The wooden dragon was a rainwing

Hmm I wonder what that is about
