He heard the splash of someone jumping in right before a wave crashed into him and Hurricane

"Yeah that's Skylight but she was still rude" Hurricane answered

A Icewing swam over

"So you just going to float here flashing you scales?" Arora asked

"Eh I'm going to swim around" Leatherback answered

And he swam off from them

Mesa is no longer the only dragon who thinks I shouldn't hang out with Hurricane Sunset thinks I shouldn't too and won't hang out with me if she's around

He made dives to the bottom of the lake and then swam back to the surface for fun

And he tired himself out after a while And headed to the Peridot winglets sleeping cave

Sunset was reading and she didn't notice him come in

"Hey Sunset" he said

She jumped

"Woah you scared me" Sunset said

"Sorry didn't mean to" Leatherback replied

"Anyway what brings you to me?" Sunset asked

"Tried myself out" Leatherback answered

"Ah okay" Sunset said

He flopped down onto his bed

And let out a giant yawn

"It does definitely sound like your tired" Sunset commented

He closed his eyes and fell asleep

When he woke up Terra was awake as well

"You snore" she told him

"I do not" Leatherback replied

"Do you watch yourself as you sleep then?" Terra shot back

"Okay fine I guess I do snore" Leatherback replied

"Tho Mint snores louder then you" Terra said

And as if it were on cue Mint let out a loud snore that sounded kinda like thunder

Mesa grumbled nonsense in her sleep

"Wow I didn't realize this winglet slept loudly" Leatherback joked

"Eh I'm not sure about myself but Sunset and Crow sleep quietly" Terra said

"Yeah I guess those two are pretty quiet when they sleep" Leatherback replied

"So are you and Sunset going to become mate's?" Terra asked

"Um what?" Leatherback replied

"Because it would be so cute if Sunback was Canon and I'm sure my fellow shipwings would agree which I must tell them the current love triangles here" Terra said

"I'm sorry Terra but what!?" Leatherback asked

"Shipwings? Oh they are the dragons who like to ship other dragons" Terra said

"No I understand those trims but who are the love triangles?" Leatherback asked

"You Hurricane and Sunset then Pomegranate Snowstorm and Shadowseer and I think Firefly has a crush on that Rainwing Okapi" Terra said

"Oh oh oh and Crowsa" Terra said

"What in the three moon's is Crowsa?" Mesa asked

"You and Crow as a ship obviously" Terra answered

"Terra is obsessed with shipping" Leatherback told Mesa

"In the scorpion den there are literally shipping wars!" Mesa said

"So dragons in the scorpion den ship our teachers and dragonets here"

"I might have to see if I can get a mind reader to help me find more ships" Terra said

"I hear there are a duo of Seawings in the forest near here maybe you can them to help" Mesa said

"Ooo Leatherback wanna come with me to meet them" Terra asked

They had found a Seawing in the forest

And she had said her name was Splash

"So I'm a Shipwing and I'm looking for ships have any?"

"Ooo cool I'm a biologist/Shipwing but yeah I call it Spraylight between my brother Spray and a Skywing called-" Splash said

"Skylight I know her she's the skywing in the Ruby winglet" Terra interrupted

"Splash you better not be telling more dragons about your silly ship between me and Skylight" the dragon he guessed to be Spray said

"I'm a Shipwing and Shipwings create ships" Splash told him

"Why do dragons call themselves Shipwings?!" Spray asked

"Because we love to ship" Terra answered

"Are you a Shipwing too?" Spray asked Leatherback

"No I just came to be able to meet you both" Leatherback answered

"Oh okay" Spray replied

"Spray doesn't like me shipping dragons" Splash said

"Because it's weird" Spray replied

Terra and Splash let out a gasp of astonishment

"Shipwings aren't weird" Terra said

"I'm going back to jade mountain I'm not getting involved in a Shipwing battle" Leatherback said and took off

He had seen Shipwing battles before so he really didn't want to get involved with it

Sunset flew up to greet him

"Where were you and Terra you missed all the morning classes" Sunset asked

"I was with her to meet a few dragons who are living in the forest" he answered

"And she is still with them?" Sunset asked

"Yeah I left when they started arguing about dumb stuff" Leatherback answered

"Oh makes since but you didn't skip history" Sunset said

"Darn wish that was one of the ones I skipped because it's the most boring class in the universe" Leatherback replied

"Speaking of the universe they should do a astronomy class" Sunset said

"Do you like the subject?" Leatherback asked

"Yes!" Sunset answered answered and her voice was filled with enthusiasm

"Hm maybe you'll have to bring it up with Tsunami she did say she was the headmistress" Leatherback replied

They flew down landed and walked in

Peril was walking out of the school and was yet to notice to the two of them

He wasn't sure what he thought of the flamescale Skywing

"So I've been liking it here what about you how do you like it here?" Sunset asked

"I think it's fun well except for the history class that's boring to hear professor Webs going on and on and on about the history of Pyrrhia" Leatherback answered

"Yeah history is boring" Sunset aggred and smiled at him

Sunny came up to them

"Hey do you know where Terra went" she asked

"She is talking with new friends in forest cause they don't go here" Leatherback answered

"Oh we were worried some bad happened" Sunny said
